I wanted to test it on a good lead chart so of course I had to break out the Big Phat Band book again👌This piece has that tighter GR #1 Backbore. It give a little more focus to the sound, a little more compression and in general makes it easier to nail every note. The tradeoff is that the sound isn't perhaps as PHAT as the 66M-B with the regular #2 Backbore like is used in my last vid (Spinning Wheel). Tell me which one you like better! I love them both for different reasons but have to admit that at this point I'm still leaning towards the original 66M-B. What do you think?
Ha ha thanks for that Cliff! My hair was one of the first things I gave up when I enlisted in the Army 10 years ago. It been so nice to have some again for the last couple months. Testing has proven so far that I play much better with long hair and hair gelly!
This particular mouthpiece was very clean and professional on these demanding type of lead charts. Not a problem at all for you. That's high praise considering who you were playing along with!

Great Sound on your Callet and Gr Mouthpueces Just a thought I play a Bach 3 F a little wider than the current version, probably closer to a Bach 2 width. Do you have a GR suggestion

Ngl this song is a 20 out of 10. Btw, I saw your mouthpiece buzzing video and was wondering if what you said applied to the B.E.R.P for trumpet. It’s supposedly a device that allows you to buzz with the resistance of the trumpet. I was wondering if this can make my playing smoother as make playing in the high range much easier and better. I would like to know your thoughts. Keep up the good work!🎺
Hey thanks for this Gamer! I actually think the berp is a pretty cool little trumpet gadget. Yeah, since it adds the resistance needed I could see this helping players to connect the registers. I’ve thought about getting one to experiment:) so much better than just buzzing the mouthpiece
I'm using a Bach 1,5C I need the wide rim to cover scar tissue on either side of my upper lip (outside). Thinking about the GR67M. I do classical, Big Band, Jazz, and chamber group music as well as pit; What is your opinion about the change from Bach to GR. I am leaning toward a more comfortable rim in the sense of slightly flatter. Thanks in advance. Very much enjoy your "headless & humble" lead playing...Great lead sound. Best/

It’s seems like you’ve done your homework because based on your description, I think the 67M would be a smart choice for you👌 The GR standard rim is a little bit smoother and wider than the old Bach pieces. In fact the Bach feels sharp to me now, cuts into our lips easier if not careful
