i was at the gym... and a guy came up and asked me how mcuh i weigh after i said 135 lbs he said "could i ask you a huge favor" And i said "yes" and he asked me to come over to where he was doing an inclined leg press and he had the area where you can put the weight filled to the end with the highest weights in the gym and he asked if i could fucking sit on it because he needed more weight on it

I just came back from a non leg workout. I thought to myself: "Which body part do I want to train today?" So I went for the biceps. Whenever I'm not sure which body part I want to train, I train biceps. Which is like every day. Sometimes I slightly hesitate, thinking to myself: "Maybe I should train some other muscles?" but then I quickly realize that your biceps are the only important muscles. Your other muscles are only there to distract you, to mess up your bicep training by making you think that there are other muscles to train.

I have a very small spare room that these and a bench fit perfectly into. STEEZYASSKILLER Just because someone else has a different form, doesnt mean its better FOR YOU. Especially Clarence Kennedy's, his form will not work for 99% of gym goers and will destroy your knees.
@@rykehuss3435 debatable. Anyone can do his workout but 99% of the people can't solely because they don't have the adequate mobility. Even clarance can't do his workouts all the time. The dude talks about his injuries. Dom's technique is fine, but Clarence's requires more mobility and thus is better imo. If your goal of squatting is to improve your legs, then figuring out your weaknesses and getting a deep squat is best
Ban the quads and glutes gain their maximum contraction from going just below parallel, in general. Going ass-to-grass is not going to yield that much more results and only increases the risk of injury.

Im gonna share my routine to effectively train legs with you guys
First you're gonna wanna load your 1 rep max on the squat rack , then add 1 more plate to the bar, make sure to slam it so everyone looks at you, try to do a squat but of course you won't do one you just gotta bend your knee, that counts. After you're done, leave without putting the plates back, on your way out make sure to add extra depth to your steps to get closer to failure

I actually like more leg day than doing shoulders, i fucking hate doing shoulders, it hurts like hell and i dont feel like i am pumping something, more like i am just breaking my joints... but in other hands or legs i feel much stronger, adding more plates faster and feeling stronger, on chest and arms i am still in pussy weights while on legs i still may be on pussy weight but for sure those big plates look better than the pussy plates
Magnus Theli Your probably not stretching your shoulder out enough. Shoulders have very intricate joints and ligaments that need to be warmed up before your workout. I used to go right into shoulder workouts without warming up until I messed them up so bad that I tore my rotator cuff. A year of physical therapy later, I started warming them up for a good 5-7 minutes.
Elite probably ur right, i dont do warmup for arms and shoulder (just for legs and chest) but what is a good exercise for warming up the shoulders?

I hit everything twice a week, including legs. Legs is actually one of favourite workouts, love the burn and pump you get in them.
what is your split? i do that too, but sometimes i'll take off 2 days instead of just 1. i'll do legs/shoulders, chest/triceps, back/biceps, rest, repeat.
notunlikethewaves My split is the same as yours, chest/triceps, legs/shoulders/, back/biceps, then repeat and rest on sunday. one week out of every month though I do a five day workout and hit everything once but for longer and have the full weekend off. The results have been great since I started this new routine a few months ago.

I also do the same workouts as those guys 3 times/week. Basically you hit a big muscle group with a small one, I asked few trainers and they said it's good. Maybe you need more calories like Dom says if you can't combine 2 muscle groups

Most chicken legs guys started working out when they were skinny. But fat guys usually have bigger legs because they had to carry around their weight.
compare untrained fat legs vs untrained skinny legs and you'll see it. fat legs are stronger and carry more bulk. This is why I never look down on fat kids because once they start cutting I know their legs would look meaty.

Am I the outlier, but I absolutely love leg days. Squats are my favorite and most successful excercise. I can barely bench 200 but I can easily squat 255 for reps and my max is 320. All in LBS just to clear any confusion
