Paul Michels already saw the movie, I already cried in that scene and later on when Steve quotes to the Winter Soldier what Bucky said to him years ago!
In my opinion this is the sadness scene in cinematic history. Having to live without each other, that's the worst hell I can imagine. It breaks my heart every time I watch this movie. Probably because Steve and Peggy were my favourite Marvel ship.
Colonel Phillips was sad as Peggy was when the communications channel got broken when Captain America hit the ice. He felt like not only he lost a good soldier but he felt like he lost a son.
@@babatundenigarianprince9068 Even with the superhuman strength Steve has, the plane was going beyond terminal velocity. It's one thing to jump out of a car, or even a train. Another thing to jump out of a stealth bomber whose speed isn't going horizontal (parallel) with the grounded, but instead plunging vertically into ice, not to mention that without being able to stay in the plane until the last few seconds to correctly guide it into the water, the plane may end up exploding and "jumping out" wouldn't really help at all. Ironman mk42 and prior wouldn't have survived this crash (this is not accounting for the fact that he can fly/use a parachute). Hulkbuster, later versions of Ironman and Hulk probably could survive the crash. Thor? maybe. Steve? He's just some guy from Brooklyn ;(
@Josh D No, being "good" means superhero poses and shiet. Like how in Star Wars, sound doesn't travel through empty space, yet people excuse all the "noises" and "explosions" in the battles because of how epic they are, how "good" they are and honestly if you take away the noise, you get the same end result, just not as cool Wind whipping in through the broken window is just another "good" thing that can be overlooked in that scene.
The look that Colonel Phillips gives when seeing Peggy is the same as a father realizing his daughter is in love and such. But also, gives the look of sadness that a father gives when someone close to the family is about to pass away :(.
ENDGAME SPOILER!! I’m so happy for Steve I believe that the dance at the end of the movie symbolizes that the war was over for Steve and he finally got to have the dance with Peggy. He belonged in the 40s but found himself in the present and he always talked about letting go but he could never let go of her. It was that ending scene that really made me tear up because i thought he was never going to dance with Peggy and to see it in theaters was a tear jerker
Out of all the MCU movies including endgame, this was the only one that made me cry, a freaking 36 (well at the time 25) year old dude. Iron man dying came close but not like I was balling here.

Like how every Captain America movie has a sad scene in it. In the first avenger it was the plane crash, in the winter soldier it was the helicarriers crashing, in civil war it was the letter.
I am hoping when Endgame bluray comes out, Marvel would add a 10 minute clip of extras of Steve returning the stones and go back to the 40s reuniting with Peggy.
I love the little detail that the Colonel instantly realizes what Cap is going to have to do, and silently orders the other man out to give Peggy privacy
At the end of Captain America: Winter Soldier, there was a deleted scene of Peggy that was supposed to be shown after the credits. Instead, they showed Bucky at the Smithsonian. In the scene, Peggy was on a cruise ship. Late at night when most people on the ship were asleep, Peggy, wearing a white night gown with her gray hair flowing in the wind, walked to the back of the ship. She held a necklace in her hand and looked at it for a moment and then threw it into the ocean. The big jewel in the necklace had a glow to it. It's believed to be an Infinity Gem. Peggy is then seen laying in her bed. It appears she may have died in her sleep. You then see B&W images of the battles of WWII. You then see a young Peggy walking into the bar from the first Captain America film. The bar is filled with deceased soldiers including Colonel Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) and Captain America's squad The Howling Commandos. Everyone is drinking, laughing and having a good time. Peggy approaches a large staircase. At the top of the staircase is a young Steve Rogers. He turns around and smiles at her. Peggy walks up the stairs to be with him. They look into each others eyes, smile and kiss. All of the people are looking at them and applauding.
I dont know how to feel about that because of course I loved Steve and peggy together but she married and had children yet when she dyes she’s not thinking of them she’s thinking of the man who she kissed once 70 years ago..... that’s, kinda sad.

In my opinion this is the sadness scene in cinematic history. Having to live without each other, that's the worst hell I can imagine. It breaks my heart every time I watch this movie. Probably because Steve and Peggy were my favourite Marvel ship.
God, grant me the gift of being strong enough to make a sacrifice like Cap and blessed enough to have someone miss me as much as Peggy.
That's Caps/ Steve's greatest strength: his courage.
Coming back here, after Endgame.
He still remembers their dance DDD:
I cry every time I see this
Me too ❤😢
Colonel Phillips was sad as Peggy was when the communications channel got broken when Captain America hit the ice. He felt like not only he lost a good soldier but he felt like he lost a son.
I don't get why people hate this movie
Who? This movie is great
They must be HYDRA
+Bennet Dudley Hahaha...that was awesome dude
From what I can tell people don't hate it they found it average but I think this film is really good
I don't think anyone HATES it... it's just underrated
War Machine: You couldn’t of jumped out of the plane before crashing it?
And landed where? In the ice?
omar biagas probably would have survived
Thor? maybe. Steve? He's just some guy from Brooklyn ;(
@Josh D naw, the wind IS blowing superhard. Steve is just that good
@Josh D No, being "good" means superhero poses and shiet.
Like how in Star Wars, sound doesn't travel through empty space, yet people excuse all the "noises" and "explosions" in the battles because of how epic they are, how "good" they are and honestly if you take away the noise, you get the same end result, just not as cool
Wind whipping in through the broken window is just another "good" thing that can be overlooked in that scene.
I guess he finally got that dance.
THE FEEEEEEEEEEEEELS
Ahahaha!
Even though he was 82 years late, Steve kept his promise and had his dance with Peggy. One of the finest moments in cinema history, never mind Marvels
Technically he was not late
0:30 Colonel Phillips knows what is about to happen.
lol
+Glinkling Smearnops u said it perfectly
Glinkling Smearnops And in that moment... words would be hollow. They would have no meaning. They wouldn't miraculously save Steve.
Rogers had no choice either.
People were gonna die or he was gonna crash the plane.
Crashing the plane away from civilians was the smartest decision.
After watching endgame, this scene...
really puts me into tears.
Cap finally got that dance.
Landon Legate yes!!!
I feel so bad for Captain America, he lost his love since she grew to like 90 years old. He doesn't know what went on for all this time
Yeah You are defo right except that he didn't.
Right there... a plane separating two love birds forever
“You wanna tell me about her.”
*”No. I don’t believe I will.”*
It warms my heart to know that cap wasn’t late for that date after all
STEVE AND PEGGYS RELATIONSHIP IS REALLY ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC AND EMOTIONAL AT THE SAME TIME🥲😁🥲🥲😢
"I'd hate to step on your-"
"Rose Tyler, I-"
These two quotes have been brought to you by DailyFeels. You are welcome.
Where's the Rose Tyler line from?
NVM I'M STUPID. DR WHO >_e
Doctor Who, a sci-fi British television show.
XD I know, that's why I said nvm cause I'm stupid for forgetting
You should add “Goodbye Mike” to that.
How about Tommy Lee Jones masterclass act, he knew to leave them alone, the guy's a legend.
SO HAPPY FOR CAP!!!!! The dance finally happened! Fulfilled life for him. Thank you Endgame for the sweetest sendoff for our First Avenger. 😭😭😭
Fucking hell
Yes! He got the dance!
I CAN BELIEVE HE DIE BY PLANE CRASH!!!😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢
After watching Endgame, this scene is very satisfying
I watched this back when I was 11 and it broke my heart....
Imagine how happy my nostalgic nerd heart felt during end games ending.
Spoiler.
Our boy finally had his dance. 💙❤️🇺🇸
Who else is here just after watch Endgame? 😭💔
Me... I quickly watch this scene again when he dance with Peggy in the avengers endgame movie. It is so emotional to see Steve Rogers back with Peggy carter 😭😭😭😢😢😭😭😭😢😢😭
Bill Saumi Me
@@actionfigurescollectionssu7854 this scene really touch me😢😢😢😭
Bill Saumi I know it did Cap did not want to be a Inmortal Superhero anymore he Wasn’t happy in are Future that’s why he went back in 1945 to dance and marry the woman of his dreams Peggy Carter He finally moved on I wish he did not went back in time and stayed But at the same time I understand in are future it Wasn’t his future it’s our future in the past it’s his past not ares I will miss young Captain America a lot he is my number #1 favorite Marvel Superhero
So now people think this scene is sadder than Tony’s death?:
Like how every Captain America movie has a sad scene in it. In the first avenger it was the plane crash, in the winter soldier it was the helicarriers crashing, in civil war it was the letter.
I am hoping when Endgame bluray comes out, Marvel would add a 10 minute clip of extras of Steve returning the stones and go back to the 40s reuniting with Peggy.
I love the little detail that the Colonel instantly realizes what Cap is going to have to do, and silently orders the other man out to give Peggy privacy
Maybe the most underrated MCU movie in my opinion
How pure captain America heart?? After 70 years++ he kept his promise and danced with Peggy..
Here back from endgame and wow just wow it’s beautiful
1:05 40's version of having a pic of your girl as the phone lock picture ^^
Gwen Minor I think I prefer the old fashioned way than using a phone to portray that.
Gwen Minor Put that shit on the sun visor
This and the opening scene in star trek with Chris Hemsworth make me cry like an absolute idiot.
Rubberr Duckyy You and me both, my friend.
So glad he was able to keep his promise and get that dance and live his life with the woman he loves 😊
Now this is how you pull off love that transcends time and space.
And This is how you earn your own tv show, By Acting Talent. #HaleyAtwell #ClarkGregg #CoulsonLives
One of the Best Trilogy Ever
Lol, she threw a fucking infinity stone. But all that was from titanic tho, it would have been funny tho
TItanic homage, much? That would've been sweet to see, though.
Bullshit detected
It's a fucking titanic shit. (I laughed at your comment tho)
I dont know how to feel about that because of course I loved Steve and peggy together but she married and had children yet when she dyes she’s not thinking of them she’s thinking of the man who she kissed once 70 years ago..... that’s, kinda sad.
Peggy: Steve there a giant purple alien outside
Steve: aw sh!t here we go again
Then Deadpool shoots him.
You’re welcome Captain America.
The way she cried “Steve..” always kills me 💔
This always makes me cry...
"You know,I still don't know how to dance"
"I'll show you how.Just be there"❤❤❤
The way she called Steve's name after he crashed always gets me. Such a touching moment.
That "Steve, Steve" at the end always tears me up.
I'm happy for you Cap. After all the long years of longing for her... you finally made that dance happened
I’m happy for you Cap. After all the long years of longing for her… you finally made that dance happened
Hayley Atwell is the best actress of MCU and you know it!
No other actress in MCU act like her!
FemslashYuri4All truth !!
The ending was so heartbreaking, I just felt so confused I didn't want it to end this way. The plot was focused mostly on emotions. True emotions.
Finally, Captain got his dance.
Watching this after the Endgame, oh the feel! Steve finally got his dance!
I waited nearly ten years for Steve to finally get his dance with Peggy. It was worth the wait. ❤️
