Will this protect me from automotive paint?

It is a particulate filter, so it would provide a good amount of protection, but wouldn’t protect from vapors. Optrel is working on a gas filter for this unit, coming soon. Does auto paint require a gas filter, or just a particulate filter?

@@samuelpaiement1875 P100 is a NIOSH classification, and the Swiss Air system actually fits that catagory. The main difference between most P100 systems and the Swiss Air is that they are passive systems, while the Swiss Air is powered. Passive systems require tight fit-ups and respiratory function tests for proper use. The Swiss Air, as a powered system requires neither, while giving every bit as effective protection as a P100 system. I hope that explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
