As a German Shepard owner (more specifically my wife is the owner), I can say these dogs are the most intelligent and loyal dogs I’ve ever seen. However, Barron is on a whole different level. We are very impressed.
I never expected my German Shepherd to give his life for me.
I was ready to give my life for him.

"If Alexander falls down he cries. He (Baron) ist the first one there". Indeed it was the same with our German shepherd and toddler. These dogs have a special sense of responsibilty. Probably this is the reason that they were (and are) sheperd dogs: they always look around if all members are fine and that nobody gets lost.

I grew up with a GS as well. This really brings a tear to my eye. You simply cannot ask for a better friend at any age, but for kid it will change you for life.

@@PatrickJDaley holy hell man I lost my first gsd recently and I'm literally dead inside. I don't know how you have the stomach and heart to put more than one down. I'm so devastated of losing her that I can't bare think of going through this all over again, meaning I can never have another dog again. Horrible the pain is of losing a gsd.

GSD's are working dogs; no real limit on what they can do! Love em', had many over the past 25 years. Just imported a male puppy, June of this year. He's a true handful. Baron appears to be a great well tempered shepherd. Loves to go to work, be great company, loyal & protective; & very easy to live with. I like the fact that he's also well fed (raw) and in perfect weight. His coat is beautiful. Yup, A+ for everything!!;
What a great thing for this boy to have such a good dog friend! The boy will grow up sane and emotionally open. The mother did an outstanding job with giving Baron the GSD good food, work for his mind, exercise, a human playmate, and a loving home. Score of 10 on the dog lovers guide!

A friend's family had 3 German Shepherds. When someone from the family was around, they were the dearest animals.
But believe me, no one entered their property and ran to the front door. I always waited at the garden fence until I was picked up. If I only tried to open the gate, I saw in their faces what they would do to me if I went on the property now. And that even at the 50x when I visited him.

GSDs are the most well-rounded dog you could ask for.
Yeah I totally agree with you about intelligence since there are really only two breeds that are smarter (the border collie and the poodle), but I think the speed and strength were accurate since you get quite a few dogs that are faster and quite a few that are stronger. Still makes the GS the most all-round because usually the stronger dogs are a lot slower.

I personally LOVE German shepherds, they are so calm and smart, but those hip problems are just... horrible.
If you like German shepherds, you may want to look into the east European shepherd, its like the German Shepherd, but without those hip problems (of course its an different dog, but it is pretty much the same as the German)
There's something special about a dog and a boy. He has the best friend he will ever have in Baron.
I love Barron. He is a great German Shepard well behaved. Extremely smart. He is so loyal. Great dog. My late dog was one half Shepard one half retriever would help me with certain chores. She was extremely protective of my children, me, and their friends. Enjoy Barron. 👍🏻

I am not an expert., but just raw meat (muscle tissue) is not a complete diet on it's own. Give a dog a whole rabbit or chicken with organs and all ...

THAT IS SO CuTE!! I found my dog on the streets and decided 2 take him home (I don't know if he was trained 2 protect and trained 2 do any other stuff after he was left out on the streets) he is such a sweet and calm and playful dog and I have the strongest bond with that dog more then anything in this UNIVERSE. He is ALWAYS with me and protecting me. Ppl say that 1% of all the dogs in this world will naturally protect their owners without being trained. But my dog is 1 of them that protects me without being trained (then again he was probably trained before I got him I never had 2 train him myself). 1 time I was hanging out in my back patio with my dog and he was laying right beside me on the floor watching everything around us, minding my own bussiness my friend spotted me while she was out walking her dog (her dog is a siberian husky and is very vicious) she came towards me with her dog and her dog was barking and jumping at me and my dog, then my dog got up and started barking at my friends dog and my friends dog did the same back, my dog was growling and barking so much so I grabbed him by the collar and decided that I would try and get the 2 together not 2 close but sorta so they could get along. My friend agreed and we did so, so I went 2 get his leash and I took him out and walked him over 2 my friends house and we met there but I stayed a good distance away from her and her dog and everytime they got near he would start barking and growling at em but I never let my dog attack em. When her dog started running away my dog would chase after her dog and they went SO fast I was trying 2 keep hold onto my dogs leash and he was just like dragging me but eventually I was able 2 keep my balance and stop my dog from chasing the other 1 after like 2 days we kept on trying 2 get em together and they finally got along (they were not playing I swear if I had let my dog go he would get in a fight with the other dog). That was the first time i've ever seen my dog try 2 protect me, tbh knowing that yr dog is willing 2 protect u, give up his life for u, help u, and that yr dog is loyal is a great feeling. But thats not the only time my dog tried 2 protect me everytime while im walking with him and he sees another dog his ears would go up and he would get close 2 me and start growling at em but I still never let him attack anybody, im sure that someday if there was a real problem and I needed him he would definetly protect me. But I never thought about training my dog 2 help with chores and stuff like that I should try cuz that would be cool

Because Ruthe almost working line dogs that are real people pleasers like GSDs will naturally protect an owner. It’s not a high percentage but it’s higher than 1.
Dogs are like the siblings we never had. Loyal, friendly, and constantly listen to you talking when you are alone. They can reduce anxiety and just be like another human in the household if you treat them like one. Don’t treat your dog like a pet, but rather like a human being.

@@AryzMind I recently adopted a Male White GS & although he's shedding fur profusely, He's a Keeper because he loves to play with anything tossed in the air. Thank God for the "Furminator" shedder because it's a tremendous help for the shedding problem.
