Well said. I used to be in the other camp, arguing that our back is very fragile, but that kind of fear of movement is what actually makes you fragile and weak. I know someone who got kinesiophobia from watching all these scare-mongering videos. He believes we aren't made to move our knees into ranges below 90° and we should keep our backs stiff at all times.. I'm actually a big fan of movement diversity. The more you try to move your body in different ways, the better it gets at moving in those ways. As such, weighted mobility is a great way to bulletproof every weak area and prepare it for forces that it might encounter in the real world. Regarding lower back I'm a big fan of jefferson curls. I like the zercher jefferson curl you're doing there. I wouldn't call them a zercher rdl, because the tension seems to be more on the lower back instead of the hamstrings, but who cares about the names, a rose is a rose.

This is the second video of yours I came across, the first one was you talking about zerchers. You said zercher deadlifts were a horrible movement and probably shouldn’t be done. I’m very glad to see how much your training philosophy has evolved and advanced in the past four years lol

Unfortunately I came across this video only after my hernia surgery. I'm thinking about how to strengthen it now and restore flexibility and mobility.

i USED to always try keep my back flat lifting and stuff like this but still had tremendous debilitating back pain.
then i seen videos on the jeffereson curl and started doing them with light weights, even now 8 months later still only use about 25 lbs but my backpain is 90%gone! havent had to use an nsaid in months whereas i was living off them every day as a construction worker.

Great story. I'm in the same boat but still recovering from a back injury. What is your frequency on jefferson curls? I'm doing about 2x/ a week for about 3 sets.
