    I have a straight bar and SSB and I am contemplating buying a cambered bar. When would you use one over the other and what is the difference in the loads that you can use between a straight bar, safety and cambered bar? - I'm guessing that the instability of the cambered bar would mean that you can move less than the SSB, (which typically allows you to move less than the straight bar). Would you use a cambered bar for a specific purpose, or it is simply added as another variation?

    Would you say 3-5 reps w/o accommodating resistance is too heavy?

      @@TheStrengthClassroom thanks. Did SSB box squats today for 3 sets of 5 and felt pretty solid. Probably was rep 7-8
