How the BBC and the police treated him over those allegations made me sick. A man who has given so much to the Uk over the years was treated like a cheap criminal. He helped make the Uk in the 50s, 60s, 70s an artistic super power. How sad that he has to watch his country descend to the gutter under the input of media mogols, tabloid philth and people jumping on bandwagons. No wonder he has moved out of the uk, i feel like joining him.

I am now in my 70’s and have met Cliff twice . First time was when I was 13 years old and met him on his first tour to South Africa. I sang A voice in The Wilderness for him (I still sing it today!). There was an 8mm movie (unfortunately with no sound ) taken of us meeting in ‘60s. I then met him 50 years later on another tour to SA and got him to sign the photo of us ! With all his popularity, Cliff remains down to earth and so humble and natural. A real gentleman and A true musical Legend! His wonderful music will live for generations !!

People should not comment on things they don't know. My sister was at school with Cliff, and performed with him in school plays, he lived in the street next to mine in Cheshunt. He shared his home with a dear friend, doesn't mean he shared his bed. My brother also was a friend and spent holidays in Cliff's villa in Portugal, and my brother certainly was not gay. I worked for the late Danny La Rue, I drove for him and ran his bar in Manette St London. In conversation Danny told me about his business manager , he was also his partner for 32 years Jack Hanson who he thought the world of. Danny referred to Cliff as being in the same situation as himself. And I have to say allegedly. Danny had no reason to lie, and showbiz folk know it all about each other. And if Cliff is gay , no problem but he was from another generation and was 27 when homosexuality was legalised in the UK on 1967. So his career was well underway and he wouldn't want to ruin it by coming out. It was bad enough for me at 18 in 1975. But that's another story. I for one like Cliff and his music. Cheers 🥂

Either you forgo your art or you have a happy and contented home life. When Jonathan Ross in an interview with Barbara Windsor some years ago, mentioned him being gay, she categorically said he was not! She could vouch for it, as they'd had a relationship in the long past. Being away for months on end is not conducive to a happy family life, which is why there are so many divorces among them. By him avoiding that I think he should be applauded for not upsetting any wives he might have had by going through divorce proceedings and producing offspring that would hardly know him as a father, and him feeling the guilt that comes with it.

I lived in Sutton a stones throw from Carshalton and alway chose Cliff over Elvis as a young teenager. Though I was unaware that he lived in Carshalton. Always been a huge fan and after seeing photos from very old friends who lived in Barbados having some fun time with Cliff he has risen further in my estimation. A gentle down to earth genuine fellow.

I'm from India and as a young girl ,was completely enarmoured by both, Cliff's boyish charms and golden voice.There were other great singers too,but Cliff stood head and shoulders above his counterparts .His clean image endeared him to his fans.He is still singing and that is a testament to his enormous talent. Only talent can stand the test of time.Of course Godfavouerd him too..Even the almighty found his charm irresistible, like us mortals.May this great artiste live long .I wishhim all the luck.in the world.

My sister was at school with Cliff, and performed with him in school plays, he lived in the street next to mine in Cheshunt.
He shared his home with a dear friend, doesn't mean he shared his bed.
My brother also was a friend and spent holidays in Cliff's villa in Portugal, and my brother certainly was not gay.

I worked for the late Danny La Rue, I drove for him and ran his bar in Manette St London.
In conversation Danny told me about his business manager , he was also his partner for 32 years Jack Hanson who he thought the world of.
Danny referred to Cliff as being in the same situation as himself. And I have to say allegedly.
Danny had no reason to lie, and showbiz folk know it all about each other.
And if Cliff is gay , no problem but he was from another generation and was 27 when homosexuality was legalised in the UK on 1967.
So his career was well underway and he wouldn't want to ruin it by coming out.
It was bad enough for me at 18 in 1975. But that's another story.

I've been a fan of Cliff's since 1958 when I was 8 years old. He never fails to entertain and gets better each time I've seen him live which was only last year at "The Apollo Theatre" in Hammersmith. My only wish is that I could meet him ❤

He is a lovely Irish lad, about late 40s, who constantly uploads Cliff material on UA-cam. He really understands the technology, unlike me (now 65), but if I knew how to create my own site, and how to upload videos for my fellow "Cliffites" (I invented the term), I would unquestionably set the record straight as to who is Cliff's number one fan, having worshipped Cliff before Mark was born.
However, we Cliff fans embrace each other, rather than compete.

I’ve watched many live concerts of Cliff, but my best experience is meeting him in person for a chat in 1981. He spoke to me about his next single Wired For Sound which hit the radio couple weeks later.

I saw Cliff Richard perform in Perth Western Australia a few years back and he was fantastic and his music is timeless.

I have always loved Cliffs song's from early teens, like his natural ways with people, he is not distant like some singers. I have never been to any of his show's, but would like to have met him. However he has popped into some of my dream's.
I met Cliff in1980 at his home in Weybridge Surrey He was very nice and to.d me he likes Australia and the weather is better here he shook my hand and said nice to see you ❤😊

Sir Cliff Richard is my favorite singer since I was in high school. I really love his beautiful voice and his songs. I had been blessed to watch his concert when he performed here in Manila, Philippines. Either you forgo your art or you have a happy and contented home life. She could vouch for it, as they'd had a relationship in the long past.
Being away for months on end is not conducive to a happy family life, which is why there are so many divorces among them. By him avoiding that I think he should be applauded for not upsetting any wives he might have had by going through divorce proceedings and producing offspring that would hardly know him as a father, and him feeling the guilt that comes with it.

Loved Cliff (his Music) since the late 1950's. unfortunately "Move It" developed a large crack so not in my vast collection anymore Love "Scarlet Ribbons" and his movies in the day. Born 3 yrs before me so was easy to relate to, well done to reach this decade Cliff. I was sent a a nice signed photo treasure for a 15 yr old fan, still have it.

I lived in Sutton a stones throw from Carshalton and alway chose Cliff over Elvis as a young teenager. Though I was unaware that he lived in Carshalton. Always been a huge fan and after seeing photos from very old friends who lived in Barbados having some fun time with Cliff he has risen further in my estimation. A gentle down to earth genuine fellow.

i know my eldest sis: had a gr8 love for cliff richards; watching her react to his music, films so forth. at times i used to imagine: finding a way for them to meet; even now, while she and her husband go about their busy life, and today i think it would be tops if this could happen.
