Thank you Krissy. I've been worrying that something might have happened to you. I have been checking your channel daily...So relieved to find out your absence was weather related...Three weeks is too long to go without our Outback gold fever and it's endearing host...
@@OutbackGoldFever To realize weather has no emotion, it simply exists due to physics, hot & cold drives it. What you do with the situation, is the key factor! Eh?
Seeing your beautiful smile when you find a new nugget never gets old. Simply gorgeous. Happy hunting and most of all be safe. Looking forward to your next video already. Michael
Glad your back, every time your not here on a Sunday its a bit of a worry, considering where you are, I get the feeling you will be there for while, I was optimistic, I guessed 3 grams for the big one, lets hope theres a whole lot of relatives there, and that you find them, im still itchy over seeing those bites, they looked extremely irritating and sore, but you suffered through them, and was rewarded for the effort! well done Krissy, See you next Sunday with a bucket load! Cheers!
Welcome back, all worries dispelled. One of your best vids ever. At the 8.34 minute when you waved the coil to the left of hole i "heard" a response, i back tracked, and thought you had missed a second nug near your hole. 😳😀☺. At the 12.46minute of vid you then confirmed it✌👌. I really enjoyed that, thank you. About 15 years back nuggetfinder produced a 17x12 superlight white coil, it remains the best coil i have used ever. Glad to see, his son is still maintaining the standard. When you find a patch where you can max out your machine, it pays to do just that. Low and slow, and if possible even move the bigger rocks. Go get em tiger
I find learning about the different coils very informative. I never would have learned about them without you teaching us. I'm here in Minnesota so everything you do and show is new to me. Thanks. P.
Nice gold, bad bugs, Krissy. The heat and the solitude I could live with but getting mauled by midges and mossies would drive me crakcers. Thanks for sharing.
So, when someone asks, Where'd you find that nice Nug ? . . . you can tell them, Cornflake Hill ! It's right next to Cornflake Creek. 😉 Nice Finds there Miss Krissy ! . . So now we know that leaving your nugget container back at camp or taking some time off Helps you find chunky Gold ! No Worries, no charge for the Free Gold Hunting advice, my reward is hearing Krissy saying, "It's Still in the Hole !". 😳 Stay Safe n Hav Fun !
Awesome bits of gold, still to grassy over here in the NT, the rain just keeps coming, the spear grass tops have dried out but the leafy bottom is still green and succulent, the creek is still running and I am getting tired of sleushing and looking forward to being able to detect. have a good few days, Leon
Loved the video . Very interested with your coil we just had a week near Kal with 2 x 6000 one with standard coil and one with the exceed coil . When we found a target we would compare both coils and to be honest we found no difference apart from the exceed was better for pin pointing. Yours went very deep which I am impressed with . Not sure why ours did not perform better. Just with the Migies if you have windex or similar spray on the area that is itchy for instant relief. Really looking forward to your next video and Thankyou for mentioning the settings . We learn a lot from your videos . Oh yes we got the upgrade done to our 6000 and that has made a major difference in the positive
Have you tried to turn up the sensitivity in manual mode and also running it in normal ground type? We've tried the xceed coil on two different detectors and it made a big difference on both of them.
Back on the gold again Krissy but those Mozzies can be a pain. At least the weather is better than down here in the Wheatbelt. Wishing you all the luck in your search for the good stuff. Take care and stay safe out there.
Thats a powerful detector, if you point it at the midges you will be able to catch the ones that bit you..... Excellent little spot in the outback of beyond, take care and I wish you more finds like those. Have a good one
I have the NF exceed 12x7 and am a fan, waiting on the 16x10 Exceed as well, will run both over my gold areas before calling it good and moving on. I am confident between these two coils an area can be pretty much hunted out. I also bring along the oem 14"dd for wet ground conditions. Been a fan of NF coils for yrs. Especially now the Evolution and Exceed coils.
Hi Krissy good to see you back and glad that the new coil you previously told me you were getting is working great. Nice finds there mate even though they were covered in a dark stain like you said mineralization is there any tea tree in the area as well as I know that stains the water and makes it dark. I was sick a few weeks ago with a chest infection but am all better now just about to head out to my shed and possibly make a new knife or make a few sheaths for a few already done lol. Just a hunch but stock up on your food mate and try and get yourself some of those freeze dried meals they are tasty and light weight to stock in your van.
I usually carry plenty of dry food and tins, you never know for how long you might be stuck in the bush. Good to hear you're getting better and back into knife making.
Hi Krissy glad to see you still on the gold! You should use your netting to protect yourself. Whenever you’re not around for some time we worry about you!! Glad to see you prosper. Krissy, you might want to check out “Buy me a Coffee” I would certainly use it. Gives a quick turnaround and the apps cut is very minimal. I only give through the ones that don’t take a big chunk from the creator. All the best to you. 😊🇨🇦👋🏼
just got the Coiltek 9" and finding more gold left behind by the original 11"...I wonder what the 9" left behind for the 12x7? :)....Vielen Dank fuer das informative Video.... a Swiss in Victoria :)
Lots of nice chunky gold😮😊 when I have mosquitoes around my camp I always try Noxzema a day repels everything it's so strong it'll clear your nostrils and it lets of vapor off to where they won't even land on you that's if you can tolerate the Noxzema once again good to see you you're busy busy busy finding all that shiny you're going to find the motherlode someday glad to see you're doing okay except for the mosquitoes but I will see you on the next one😂😂❤❤❤❤😊😊😊🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲😆😆😆😆💰💰💰💰💰
Good job sister. Those fly things must be a nightmare to have to deal with. Looking forward to the next vid. And hopefully the biting critters are gone for ya soon.
Live in US. Haven't heard of Midges before. Mosquitoes and biting flies are bad enough. We also have Tics, which can carry Lyme's disease. Will have to look up Midges on the internet.
Hi krissy great episode an some nice gold, im curious you said with the exceed coil you were running in general normal an not in difficult is that correct, i generally carnt run the 6000 in general normal with standard coil as its very noisy an i dig a lot of false targets, especially bad with high mineralised ground. Thanks for sharing your journey chrissy👍
With the xceed coil I'm able to run the detector in manual and normal ground mode with the highest sensitivity possible and the detector still ran quietly 👍🏻
@Outback Gold Fever awesome, thanks Krissy. We have the same machine and coil and with Vic ground, can really only use low sens and difficult ground setting, so its great to know we can punch deeper on our trip to WA coming up next month. cheers and thanks 😊
As far as I know you can't connect them. The double speakers and booster are cable tied to my backpack for the 7000 only. I've been testing a different audio option for the 6000 though and will do a little review on that soon.
Love watching you folks metal detect. I laugh when you sing to your nuggets. Quick question. How many fly's do you think you have swolled. I metal detect for coins and relices and have swolled a few myself lol.
Hi Krissy, You ought to try and find some after bite, that is what it is called in Canada. It takes the itch and sting from insect bites. Great gold! Thanks for sharing.
I bet there is a lot of smaller flakes of gold out there. Probably could get a bunch more out of all that surrounding dirt with some kind of separator like a high banker set to low, or some kind of dry separator.
Hi Krissy. Great vid and nice to see you back. As you have shown not all gold is bright shining gold colour. Are you up north where the TC went through?
There is always something after your blood in Australia, where I live there are mozys, miggies, leaches ,ticks, march flies of 5 different types all are a pain in the bum ,Lovely to see you out and about, you need a small aloe vera plant in your van that works well to stop the itch
Thank you Krissy. I've been worrying that something might have happened to you. I have been checking your channel daily...So relieved to find out your absence was weather related...Three weeks is too long to go without our Outback gold fever and it's endearing host...
Not being able to head out and swing a detector almost felt like an eternity. Lucky it doesn't rain like this too often in this part of the world.
@@OutbackGoldFever To realize weather has no emotion, it simply exists due to physics, hot & cold drives it. What you do with the situation, is the key factor! Eh?
Rubbing alcohol really helps me with bug bites.
Is the tip of the elliptical coil more sensitive at the edge of coil.
Krissy you are walking lunch for the midges, put your netting on to protect yourself, be careful and happy findings 😊
Great to have you back Krissy. Amazing what a good rain will do for gold results. And of course a new coil. Safe hunting, Deb
Glad that you are back and straight into the gold finds. GO for GOLD Krissy, GO for Gold ! ! !
Good finds Krissy! Use your netting when you’re out and about there and keep safe!
So encouraged Krissey , love gold detecting like nobody's business.
I been watching for a year now I like your channel allot . Thanks
Been awhile there Krissy but great to see swinging again and straight on the gold.
Seeing your beautiful smile when you find a new nugget never gets old. Simply gorgeous. Happy hunting and most of all be safe. Looking forward to your next video already. Michael
Congratulations on your finds. Looks like a rich area, fun. Looking forward to next week😎
Nice to see your new post. Stay safe and find a nice moniker.

Well done..
Yes cover up properly as you definitely don’t want to get sick from the Midges and especially from mosquitoes 🦟
Cheers
There is a Avon product that stops midges, I'll have to ask what the name is but it was a must have over in WA.
Great video ty

glad to see you are back but those Bug Bites looks terrible. the Gold looks great. be careful.

Ammonia with sodium bicarbonate (Baking soda) same thing... works wonders for pennies

Hello mam…what setting you use on 11 inches and xceed coil plz mention both
Hi Krissy. Great vid and nice to see you back. As you have shown not all gold is bright shining gold colour.
Are you up north where the TC went through?
No, we only got the winds and the clouds because it turned east.
KRISSY YOU have a lot of knowledge where do you learn about coils and dectorers 😮
Been testing the xceed coil for many weeks now and just share my experiences and opinion. Learning by doing.
