Gold Nugget Hunt interrupted by Police
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- A surprise visit from the police during my gold nugget hunt is something I didn’t expect as I am digging up a few subgrammer nuggets near a track in Old Halls Creek. A dirt road to the Northern Territory is not far from where I metal detect and the police patrols it regularly to prevent the spread of Covid-19 into Western Australia where we there aren't any infections in the community.
A lucky surprise nugget pops out of the ground in the same area on a different day.

If you're in a northern winter, this channel is just what you need, Krissy's solo search for gold in Western Australia on Sunday mornings, more power to her...
Well done Kirsten, it’s great to see you getting some decent gold at last. Congratulations.
How awesome is that nugget, what a beauty🙌 well done Krissy and I hope the Gold gods keep shining on you🤙⛏
Great work, from an area that's been thrashed, you've come up with some really nice nuggets, well deserved...
Just fabulous Kristin you are such an inspiration to watch and I learn something new every time. Great gold finds it keeps you happy, fed and watered, well done 👏 cannot wait for your next adventure 😀
I just love your accent, many Dutch in Armidale, NSW. Just great to watch, thank you👌💐
You have earned those nuggets tenfold, and proven once more that tenacity and determination out-weighs luck.
Problem with passing over the loud targets is that there could be a faint target under those that you can’t hear.
Beautiful gold thanks Krissy great video
Very happy for you,I know the feeling when You found that larger nugget, Good Luck in 2022, regards George.
Keep looking Krissy, there’s some large nuggets came out of that area!
“This is a very significant place. It is the site of the first gold discovery in Western Australia and where the WA gold rushes began. In 1885 Charles Hall found a 28-ounce nugget.”
I reckon with your persistence - there’s a big one there somewhere with your name on it.
Can’t remember where I read about it but supposedly there was one of 6.5 kilos found there somewhere.
Hi Ian! Would love to know where the 6.5 kilo nugget came from... The last few videos were filmed close to the 28-ouncer. I'll keep looking for its brother.
@@OutbackGoldFever I could be wrong, I thought it was mentioned in Gold & Ghosts book.
There was talk about it being found alongside a track / road & being just west of old halls creek track to the mines.
Good one, keep tipping them out,you deserve every bit.
Well done, great find. Persistence pays off.
You had an excellent day. I hope it keeps improving for you.
Hi Krissy, can I suggest carrying a small 150mm rock chisel (mine fits into my geo-pick pouch) so it's really no problem to carry it and to pull it out when I have to extricate a potential nugget without the fear of damaging it with the big pick! Love your videos - absolutely excellent! Do keep em rolling! Cheers Geogem
Forgot to say the chisel is only about 10-15mm dia. and what a magnificent nugget that is!! My mother always used to say; "patience and perseverance leads to permanent prosperity"! And you certainly demonstrate having all these qualities! Cheers Geogem
I would love to do this all day long!
I live in Sweden and it’s forbidden to detect unless you pay around 1000skr
24-48 hours and never around ancient monuments!
Its so sad😢
Anyway I’m in luck 🍀 to fallow you on your adventures😉
Thx
Nice haul Krissy 👌
Great work again Krissy
Thanks!
Very generous, thanks a lot!!
@@OutbackGoldFever your videos are fantastic and inspire me!
Nice going chrissy, hope you have a good and exciting christmas too, happy digging🌷🌷🙂
Well done,what a pearler.
Nice ripper there well done Krissy. Well rough... source must be close. ..get in there while u can with all open and burnt ground. Police in outback wow 🤔😁😆❤️🇬🇧
You did good. The cops must have heard all about you LOL. Wonder they didn't chat to you about changing to WA Registration, seeing you have been there so long. They can come into WA from Dunmura, across to the purple pub then across the Nickelson plain I know that's is how I got across once. Nice to see you doing well. That size nugget was so common years ago. Hope your luck gets even better.
Have watched various Aussie gold detecting for the last 8 years and the big Nuggets are ALWAYS deep REALLY deep and the ground is almost like cement, EGAD what a volcanic wasteland, what a Nugget 6 grams. Ya know that the successful detectors have easy finds and large Nuggets following the ground scraper after removing up to 12” of top soil. And everyone uses a GPX GPZ Minelab Series detectors too! What an unforgiving climate, but when YOU find IT, all is good. “Aussie Gold Fever”
Nice work Krissy that nugget had me guessing 13gs 😂 funny how the gopros trick me into thinking they’re larger
Hi Levi, the nugget really looked bigger than it was - not just a fish eye lens illusion.
Sister Gooolden-hair surprise 👍🏻
THAT IS A BEAUTY!
Great video and gold prospecting! 👍
Very nice hunt! Cheers JJ
Beautiful nugget
Entertaining, thank you. 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Good finds keep it up!
Sad 😔! What you should have said is “I have nothing to say to you” as soon as they opened their mouths!
Wow 🤩
the nugget left of the one you called a fish looks a little like Africa :)
Now your talking girl. love the nuggy
Dig it up
...als ob du dafür geboren wurdest woran ich ja keine Sekunde zweifele. So Geil !! meine Daumen sind und bleiben immer für dich gedrückt ;) ,, Liebe Grüsse !!
Danke dir!
No freedom here
Why do you drop the sand in your hand when the nugget sounds like it's in your scoop. Their might be more gold in the sand you dropped from your hand.
I always check the pile and the hole after getting the nugget out. Heaps quicker this way 👍🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever Thank you very much. It was driving me to distraction thinking otherwise. I was getting to the point of not watching anymore. Now that I know otherwise I will continue to watch. I can't describe how much I want to explore those self same places as you do.
Always a cop somewhere....lolol
Praise God got that AWESOME blessing!!!! My dearest young lady you keep on searching, and I'll keep on praying that God will keep on blessing you more and more... BBE...
Love everything you bring us while watching you live Krissy ❤️I’m 81 yrs young and it helps pass my day watching you look for the nuggets. Stay safe Krissy ❤️
What a killer find Chrissy, at around 14:00 min into the video. I love the way that you keep your cool when you find a nugget. You're always an inspiration to us subs. :)
Very nice finds Chris good luck get some more
If I was a little bit younger I’d be out there chasing you around as your finding some nice gold / I was born 1948 so that gives you an estimate to how old I am/ loving your videos Krissie so keep enjoying yourself /
72 isn't too old to be out adventuring. So long as you're in reasonable health, stay hydrated, have a reliable vehicle and an EPIRB/satellite phone, then you should be out exploring Australia. That's what I intend to do when I retire. Buy a 4 WD campervan and spend the rest of my life travelling around this amazing country. Who want to sit in a house somewhere, waiting to die. Not me, that's for sure.
I was born in 47, still have quite a few trips left in me,live 2900 kms away from kal,32-34 hours away from home, depends on how much you real want something, have a go,and get amongst the crazy people,I like them all but dish it out to them when I think
Awesome Find Chrissy.
Great Work.
Ahava in Yahsuah Ha Mashiach
Congratulations on a great find Krissy. It’s so exciting digging up a bigger piece. Interesting days out there enjoy and stay safe .
Congratulations on the weight💰. Enjoyed watching. You are doing a great job videoing and detecting. Fingers crossed for your next outing. USA, Michigan. 😎👍🍺
I like your hat, what is that style hat called? I may get one some time..
That's an australian Akubra hat. They are the best and I miss having it.
One day I will return to Australia and your vlog has been inspirational.
I do some beach detecting here in Thailand 🇹🇭 using a minelab Excalibur.
There's so much garbage on the beaches it gets annoying because lots of it is aluminium...
Enjoy your videos adventures discovering gold.
Nice police men them fellas not smart arse young fellas covered in tats and being bullies as per norm real out back humans lol 😂
First to give thumbs up 👍 and now to watch..
Famo59 🎄👍🍻🤓⛏
Well I just finished watching Krissy and I have to say EUREKA YEEE HAAA
Well done on the 6 grammer..
Well I think it’s fantastic that those police 👮♀️ officers are patrolling around..
Merry Christmas 🎄 and stay hydrated 🥂
Cheers Famo59 🎄👍🍻🤓⛏
Thanks, Famo 👍🏻
Whirly wind giving you high five using tree branches... I give you high five too.... that was fun watching....thanx4sharing.
evil must be defeated nobody will be free until they're all cast into the like of fire
Do you ever find a half oz ,or one oz nugget?
Well done Krissy! Keep up the great prospecting and videos!
Keep a small screw driver with you for prying when you don’t want to use your pick.
I used to carry a screw driver but ended up scratching too many nuggets. A hard plastic tool could be more suitable
Great video! And some very nice gold :)
Well done Krissy, see ya ya soon down here in the cooler parts👍
Hi Krissy.... I'm really pleased you had a good couple of days on the gold... very exciting watching you dig the big one.. I have a feeling next week should be a great results video as well.....
Good Luck and Stay safe!
What a great find it beats digging up lead like I do in victoria.
Keep up the great videos love watching you digging up that gold.
Well deserved mate keep it up 👍 nice bits
That policeman was Def a South African. Glad he was so polite! Well done.
Another great video Krissy
Wow the police out there, that's as amazing as the six Grammer well not quite give me gold any day over police lol. Keep up the good work
So cool. What a ripper! Good for you. Someday with your positive attitude your going to find a "welcome strangette".
Ata Girl True Gold Digger!!!
Totally AUsome finds! Hoping you find a big 10-ozer in that area, glad you are going back to dig all the targets, you never know!
So good to hear the enjoyment in your voice! Keep digging! There's gold there just waiting for you ! Wow....eclipse! Congrats on that BIG nugget! Amazing!
That was a really nice nugget ! Well done !👍
Thanks, Richard 👍
Wow Krissy, that's a pearla. Well done!!!
Be careful what you say to the police.
If you say you are a resident in WA and you moved here more than three months ago, then technically your out of state car is not registered. If you are on Holliday it may be ok but 2 years might be pushing it.
Food for thought.
Awesome gold finds thanks for sharing my friend Krissy merry Christmas dear be safe out there we luv ya here in Grovetown, Georgia USA
Brilliant! You’re a hard worker Krissy, so glad for you to find the big rippers ☮️
Chrissy, do you ever run the GPZ in the Extra Deep mode; if yes, what are your settings?
Hi Mike, I don't use Extra Deep with the small z search coil. I've only tested that setting briefly on the 19" coil which resulted in digging craters for noisy ground...
stay safe kirssy . look forward to your next video :)
So happy for you Krissy! I felt the excitement in myself as I waited to see what you were going to find in that large hole. Such a nice piece. Thanks again for sharing your adventure. Deb
Let’s go Brandon.
Wish I could buy a small nugget from you
Would be interesting to see the process you go through in selling your find. Any chance of getting an inside look at the life of a gold nugget you've found from finding to selling?
I might film a video about the different options in the future, seems to be a popular topic
Good to see your on some colour Chrissy, stay safe , davi b,
Another really enjoyable video. Keep up the great work. :)
YAY!🎉I am so happy for you to find that nice big chunka!!! I hope there are many more in that area for you hun!!!
Take care! Stay safe!
Awesome gold yet again!!! Well done sweetie
I really enjoy your videos. You have sold me on the GPZ 7000. :) I have watched you dig some difficult holes. Why don't you have a battery powered roto-hammer? I live in the U.S. and I bought a Milwaukee 18volt roto-hammer (for a few hundred dollars) that would save your life in that heat. I know it'll save mine after I get my GPZ ;) Keep up the good work and thank you. Mike
So that's how it werks in WA? . . . just pull over, walk 20 ft from the rig and find gold : / Nuff said, I'm selling the Mercedes, packin the Emu's & headed for the Quantas Terminal!
You gotta love those Fish 🐟 looking pieces... it shows persistence pays off... go deeper for the bigger ones👍... keep up the great work and stay hydrated🥛❤ya work
Hi Gavin, gotta keep looking for those bigger fish 👍🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever Krissy yours looks like a stone fish lol but we've both got a fish now👍... Dennis has to find one now
@@gavinmcdonald2585 Hopefully mine will be a whale not a Gudjun.
Krissy is going great, showing us up at Old Halls Creek. LOL.
Looks like so much fun. I enjoy watching you get excited over those bigger nuggets. I get excited too..
Catching up on videos I've missed.😉⛏
Congratulations
I saw the excitement on your face.
Wow done.
Good to see the out back Police traveling around.
Checking on people.
They there to help if need be.
Weighting on your next Gold find.
Take care be safe
Freedom at it’s finest.
New to your channel so still catching up! This was a great video - gold, police, eclipse, bigger gold! Looking forward to your next video. Stay safe out there! 👍
Awesome find..so pleased for you, even Police protection!
I really enjoy all your videos and I’m so happy that you found some nice gold, well deserved! Even though we’ve never met and I don’t know you personally it’s obvious that you’re light hearted and take life as it comes. I love that you follow your passion! Hugs 🤗 from Canada 🇨🇦
Lovely watching you ❤ your prospects im Gary from Cape Town South Africa, you take care now
WOW not that Potato size nugget that I want you to find. But still Real Amazing and it was good hunk. I hope you find more of them. So much fun to watch. Thank You cant wait till next time. :)))
Di tempat saya tiada larangan,, tanpa hukum,, cuman ber pandai berdamai dengan penduduk lokal
Congratulations Kristin, great find you have worked hard for it.
What a ripper!!!! Love your positive attitude and the gold is a nice bonus too
Wow, a six grammer with lots of character. Nice going. Can you get a premium for these bigger beautiful nuggets?
Krissy, I have been watching you for a while now and noticed when you swing the detector you don't overlap your swings. Yes it slows you down but you don't miss ground. Just a suggestion. I really enjoy watching!
Sucks the way she misses ground.
I'm aware of that and a prefer it that way at first. Now I've got so many waypoints for nugget finds on my gps, I'll concentrate on a few squares I'll mark out and spend a few more days gridding those spots 👍🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever I agree with you Krissy. If you overlap 30% then you only cover 70% as much ground in a day. When you are looking for a patch or your first nugget you can cover 42% more ground. Grid the patches and interesting areas when you are on the gold.
Cover it all...or what's the point? You could walk past an Oz.
@@FlattardiansSuck If I grid the whole area, I'd be busy for years digging rubbish there. This is only a ONE area and I've discovered several concentration zones now which I will hit again. The amount of rubbish and over 40 degrees every day don't make it easy, so this is just my way of doing it to keep me keen.
Hey Krissy, do you still have my mail address. Express post please. Cheers. Keep on digging. Onya
Wow, what a reminder of the criminal travel restrictions imposed by the government.
Well done Chrissy!!
Be healthy & safe!!!
