One thing I noticed about the unique armors added in Dragonborn: The Deathbrand Armor is the counterpart to Ahzidal's Armor. Deathbrand is meant for the Rougish Warrior, while Ahzidal's is meant for the Battle-mage.
Also notice that there a few sets that synergise with eachother. As in detahbrand enchants are more powerful with more pieces. Same goes for azhidal and mirrak
tommorows vid will be bloodscythe and soulrender collaborating with fudgemuppet's pirate build which means that fudgemuppet changed the pirate build to dual wield and will be using bloodscythe and soulrender (i will still use windshear though). call me sherlock baby.
Deathbrands set are a mix of two types of historical armour. The first being a Norse Viking leather chainmail and the second being a Japanese Wokou pirate armour.
Thank you for this, i could not stand the idea of wearing Savior's Hide for my Shieldmaiden play through... honestly.. i like my female characters COVERED with armor
Fhank you soooo much I've gone to 4 other channels and they dont even show whare the armor is your the first person to actually show me how to get it Thanks
Camelworks Not too many views on this one, and I think I know why. This didn't appear in my sub feed, so some other peeps may be suffering with the same issue. Keep up the content you magnificent man.
I have that armor at one of the home's on one of the Mannequin's. It took me a little bit of adventuring to find the whole armor set and I was like finally. Now I'm making my way to get the skill perk to be able to build dragon armor. That's the next one I'm picking once I get a perk and I level up to level 73. This is the highest level that I've gotten out of all the characters I have played over the years with Skyrim. Before that the highest I've ever gotten was in the low 40's the two before that was level's 51 and 54. I can't wait to get my current character to level 100. I have a bit of a ways to go but reaching level 72 has me wanting to get my character all the way to the highest level. And fill all of the perks as well. Love the video and the missions you show so the air can be obtained. Keep up the wonderful work on the videos brotha man
For getting the stalhrim smithing perk, why not have your character work on the left-hand light armour perk and then once you've acquired the Deathbrand armour, a perk point and the Winds of Change Blackbook, use it to remove all smithing perks and reallocate it to to the ebony smithing perk and then improve all of Deathbrand pieces. The armour cap is 572 without a shield (I think) and with the proper perks, you'll easily hit the damage reduction cap.
You do not need the Ebony Smithing perk to improve this armor, you need the Enchanted Smithing Perk. You only need the Ebony Smithing Perk if you want to start making Stahlrim Armor and Stahlrim Weapons. I thought you needed Ebony Perk too and I ran around for a long time without improving this armor set. Once I got the Enchanted Smithing perk, I noticed that Deatbrand was on my items for improvement list. I grabbed 4 Stahlrim that I was saving and made myself a Legendary set of Deathbrand Armor!
4:44 Waterbreathing, huh? "Everyone to the boats!... Not to the boats?" "Gents... _take a walk."_ :-D (Edit to add: Waterbreathing and pirate captains... I just had to, it was inevitable. lol)
This video isnt lore friendly, how would the dragonborn go to youtube and watch a video on how to find armor? Seems kinda casual to me...... Btw Camel im just kidding, Love ya ;)
i use this armor to grind light armor skill. improve it with my crafting gear/ a potion, summon 2 frost thralls in severin manor, hit em a few times with an iron dagger, and occasionally heal as they pummel me. helps to have a ring and necklace that cheapen resto alot( like 35% each). for regular use though, i can make way better gear than this.
I really don't like how it looks, but the concept of a set of armor that only gets very powerful if worn in its entirety is great. Is there a good mod to make it look better?
Whitedragonking Ocola The toughest heavy armor being deadric (not dragon plate), deadric has slightly better armor values (not including the bonus enchantment). But it matters little since any armor set easily reaches the armor cap (you can have a higher number then the cap, but it does nothing).
Whitedragonking Ocola Quote: "Physical damage reduction is capped at 80%. This occurs at 542 displayed armor rating when wearing all four pieces of armor and a shield, 567 without a shield, or 667 when not wearing any armor or shield at all." (The different values are caused by a hidden armor boost on every armor item).
Yeah but the enchantments sucks. 60 stamina for 4 pieces of armor? yeah I could get that on 1 with the right gear and potions and 40 increased carry weight, yet again obtainable from just ONE piece of gear. And 40% more one handed damage while ONLY duel wielding. Yeah I can find better armor that has better enchantments individually than this whole set put together. And the bonus 100 armor is useless at higher levels considering if you're using this armor you are probably some type of melee warrior so the armor rating from any other armor combined with your massive health pool will make the bonus 100 armor trivial.
My main character (my first and most powerful character) duel wields and wears light armor yet when I made a new character that fights using heavy armor, two handed + spells (later I realized that I should of done one handed with spells but hey, what are you going to do) I find this quest! Ugh!
Camelworks holy shit you reacted :0 You're probably my favorite skyrim youtuber by faaaar, keep up the great work, keep up the great work man :) (Btw loving the puns lmao)
Camelworks I know this video is kind of old now along with skyrim but my dadric armour is still better then my deathbrand armour I use one handed weapon but all my skills are at 100 even light armour and heavy there both legendary but the dadric is better but I want the death brand to be how did u get the stats higher then dadric plz respond and thx for the help on get the armour by the way.
I use this armor set with bloodsythe and soulrender aloud with a fully leveled one handed left side of perk tree and middle along with a necklace that fortify one handed
while wearing this set, I hav always thought that putting riekling spears on your characters back just looks more right than anything else, lol... and it is said to be perfect for someone using an orc character
So camel, when I asked if you were going to do ALL unique stuff on the woodsman' friend video, did you literally mean ALLLLLL of the unique stuff in skyrim???
I need help with this quest, the map never spawned in the pirate captain’s inventory. I have the Deathbrand Helm but nothing is working. I would appreciate help.
One question about stalrim is how do you make stuff with it do you forge it like metal or chip at it like obsidian I know it's supposed to be some sort of magic ice but the guy that can teach you how to make it just says if you know how to forge with ebony you should know pretty all you need to know but what is ebony like in game is it like a type of petrified wood like real life or is it a metallic ore?
A Boy Is Noone You can make that argument about any weapon/armor in the game. That's why you keep the smithing and enchanting to a minimum if you want to have fun.
A Boy Is Noone there are very few unique armor effects that can't be disenchanted. The Ebony Mail is a prime example. Dragon priest masks are also good examples as while you can make better versions of some enchantments you can't get 3 on a single piece of gear. There are a few unique shields too. The unique effect of the shrouded gauntlets can't be replicated either. But aside from the unique effect on the helmet, the death brand set doesn't have any unique effects that can't be done better but enchanting itself.
Hm... It is actually useless. All I needed to do was make my own light stalrim armour and enchant it... Since the cap for armour is below 600 (Deathbrand goes over it fully upgraded)
One thing I noticed about the unique armors added in Dragonborn: The Deathbrand Armor is the counterpart to Ahzidal's Armor. Deathbrand is meant for the Rougish Warrior, while Ahzidal's is meant for the Battle-mage.
Still a shame Ahzidal’s armor isn’t too great in combat.
I'm still going to where the ring from the set
@@joefollo4891 I mean it can easily surpass the max armor you can get, but yeah its a bit gimmicky in the wrong ways imo
Also notice that there a few sets that synergise with eachother. As in detahbrand enchants are more powerful with more pieces. Same goes for azhidal and mirrak
"Look, the point is I look like a dragon slaying badass and you look like the fucking lead skater on Alduin on ice"
Destinyrox senile scribbles
DenChen yup
Destinyrox I've seen that.
love that animator and his aninations
Destinyrox nice reference to senile scribbles also i couldn't get uour size in the friend zone and she's not my wife yet
You have to be a lvl 36 wow, literally no video says that but this one👏👏👏
Eso said the same thing
Wrong
I was like how do I get it dose not work then went to this video and boom
Well u actually have to be level 36 for the quest to appear...
it probably does. I know this is just a comment to make him feel good, but come on, face the truth
Nice armor. If you WANT to look like an extra in Alduin on Ice. Seriously, I love Stahlrim! It looks amazing, and so light.
tommorows vid will be bloodscythe and soulrender collaborating with fudgemuppet's pirate build which means that fudgemuppet changed the pirate build to dual wield and will be using bloodscythe and soulrender (i will still use windshear though). call me sherlock baby.
Windshear Mehrunes dagger combo? Immortal Dragonborn

Thank you for this, i could not stand the idea of wearing Savior's Hide for my Shieldmaiden play through... honestly.. i like my female characters COVERED with armor
The reason for the Ebony smithing perk is because you can make light or heavy stalhrim armor
Fhank you soooo much I've gone to 4 other channels and they dont even show whare the armor is your the first person to actually show me how to get it
Thanks
0:12 that nord ha's seen some things
In this video I show you how to acquire the Grim Reaper's signature line of clothing. Deathbrand :)
Skip to the overview - 3:17
Can't you just go to hot topic and get that for like 60$?
you can also start the quest by rumours by the way
Camelworks Not too many views on this one, and I think I know why. This didn't appear in my sub feed, so some other peeps may be suffering with the same issue. Keep up the content you magnificent man.
Camelworks lots of people will argue that nightingale is the best armor in the game
Camelworks You should do a video on how to glitch your way to get the jagged crown

the 4ths chest security is impeccable

Since it's a set it also benefits from the light armor perks Custom fit, Wind Walker, and Matching set.

Btw Camel im just kidding, Love ya ;)
Actually found them randomly lol :D
-.- skyrim IS casul... dark souls is the only hardcore gaem
WarTaco yeah try legendary difficulty

@Poe Soul real men beat all 3 dark souls games fists only...
One of your best puns there at the end.

Camel you forgot the timestamp
Thnx bruh
I still don t undestand why we need the ebony armor perk and not the glass perk....
TheLegion sama it's not glass it's metal
Mr.Blobby sure but it a light armor, normaly all the light armor are one the left of the armor tree that what I found weird.....
TheLegion sama The blacksmith on Solstheim says that you should be able to forge it if you know how to forge ebony.
not all Stalhrim is light armor
It's not metal, it's enchanted ice!
I really don't like how it looks, but the concept of a set of armor that only gets very powerful if worn in its entirety is great. Is there a good mod to make it look better?
I think this is the best armor in the game because I try making the toughest heavy armor and it did not give me a higher armor value then this one.
Whitedragonking Ocola The toughest heavy armor being deadric (not dragon plate), deadric has slightly better armor values (not including the bonus enchantment). But it matters little since any armor set easily reaches the armor cap (you can have a higher number then the cap, but it does nothing).

I'm a stupid gamer the armor cap is 567 so this is better if you can smith past it
I really appreciate this video! Thanks a ton man!
>starts fist character
>dual-wielder/Restoration mage
>goes through pretty much everything then goes to Solstheim

I like these guides. They're accurate and have the random bit of bad humor
I want this for my argonian pirate build
Your accent is so funny for me as I'm not a native speaker, but so good and awesome that I love it... if only I could talk like that :v
Gonna make a Redguard and do a Swashbuckling Build for this one
All stahlrim needs ebony smithing
Imo, when combined with old hermamora's perk delete button, it's actually not unreasonable
Oh, i thought that you had to be level 32 to start the "Deathbrand" quest, thanks for correcting me.
Is that boi whipping at me in the thumbnail?
I use this armor set with bloodsythe and soulrender aloud with a fully leveled one handed left side of perk tree and middle along with a necklace that fortify one handed
sad that i hate using two one handed weapons 😣
I only duel wield 2 2 gamded weapons :((((
still prefer self made armors and self made enchantments
Do you use any graphic mods for these videos? I think I see enhanced blood textures.
This was so useful thank you so much!!
I don't even dual wield and that sounds badass.
Waiting for that Fudge muppet video to come up
its the best Light Armor u can still make a better armor if u get the armor enchant and get the sthalrim heavy armor
You can wear nothing but fur helmet and have the best armour rating, thats why he doesnt talk about that stuff like that.
Ima give my ancient falmor armor to serana now that I have this
Thats why I couldn't start the quest, I'm only level 24 on my current play through 🤣
Favorite armor for real
Oblivion has the best Fist Kombat in the Elder Scrolls series.
there are so many weapons items and armor in skyrim and you don't even know what do with it sometimes.
while wearing this set, I hav always thought that putting riekling spears on your characters back just looks more right than anything else, lol... and it is said to be perfect for someone using an orc character
Dragon King This armor looks sweet with khajiit
Late but nicely done. Very well put together. Thanks
I think you should have at least mentioned what happens next after you get the key and how awsome the treasure room is.
Would I need perks in light armour to make deathbrand better cause all my perk points are in heavy armour
Ebony smithing will not allow you to upgrade a magical item. You need arcane smithing to upgrade magical items.
i got that and i had know idea but a wach this vido and it is the best armour in the game
hey! i've stuck after got looted deathbrand helm (( quest is running but other 3 chests won't show up... is there something i can do for it ?
You should do a video on how to glitch your way to get the jagged crown
Hayden Beadle

Rainbow Poop nah

what mod makes your characters like that? or a nords just blessed in SE?
Do one for the summon seeker spell book.

Huuuuh...cliffhanger review, getting excited.
You'll be excited when you see my character in 14 hours
*COUGH* repeatingalchemyandenchantingcomboistherealendgamearmor *cough*
looks like i am making a light armor character next
I can confirm vampires with the necromage perk will get better bonuses (25% better)
how do you get that perk
That joke made me throw my phone
so in terms if the full set is worn it has more armor rateing than full deadric
I saw the thumbnail of him punching with the helmet's horns and thought
D E T R O I T S M A S H
It is the best set, lest of course, you make stuff at home
Again haknir is my father I had to put up with long nights of him and his men torching innocent people below deck
My PS4 is fucked up, as the deathbrand map NEVER appeared in the pirate Captain;s Inventory..

In my opinion I think Ahzidel Armor is better than Deathbrand Armro
9th Doctor 😂🔫
9th Doctor wrong
Your puns feel like passing a kidney stone.
Do the enchantments also apply to sword-and-shield style?
Got anything about special Heavy Armor sets?
why does he look so shocked in the beginning lmfao!
He saw the set bonus :)
Lmfao! that would do it. thanks for the reply and keep up the good work, I enjoy your vids and sense of humor.
I did this awhile ago
Cool vid
I'm level 36, read the book, and didn't get the quest
this still good for bows toons i asume yes but is there a better option?
Niiiiceee no dislikes
You said “one hump wonder”?? Is that similar to a “one pump chump”??
Do you think Haknir Deathbrand was a redguard?
OWWW LEVEL 36 THATS WHY I CANT START THE DAMN QUEST
Yo guys I recently bought Skyrim for my Pc, should I get Dawnguard or Dragonborn dlc?
Run OR walk down the stairs😂
I'm going to run
Also where did orky go?
So yeah, more than likely, I won't be able to get the Armor. I DO have the Helm.
I didn't mean to say ebony in real life is petrified I kinda jumbled my words up a little sorry
cool video
Yeah buuut you can still make way better armour on your own with smithing and enchanting maxed out, yenno just sayin...
A Boy Is Noone You can make that argument about any weapon/armor in the game. That's why you keep the smithing and enchanting to a minimum if you want to have fun.
Adonan the Stoic or just say screw it and use inferior armour for fun
My Hentai Girl that's what he said
A Boy Is Noone there are very few unique armor effects that can't be disenchanted. The Ebony Mail is a prime example. Yeah... But dragonscale looks wayyy cooler
#camelwork which LIGHT ARMOR is best?
Hm... It is actually useless.
All I needed to do was make my own light stalrim armour and enchant it... Since the cap for armour is below 600 (Deathbrand goes over it fully upgraded)
Your carry capacity goes up by over 100, so not so useless.
bananaman
I'll be real I have no idea what I'm even talking about. I haven't played Skyrim in ages.
Need lvl 36 for a water breathing helm...
Me: Argonian character....
