You can get the wrinkles out of the window with a heat gun on low power or a hairdryer on high heat, thats what I did with my creality printer enclosure and I can see through it now.

Hi Igor. Love your videos. I have often been wondering how much protection tinted sunglases, and tinted acrylic sheets etc. will even give you. Will the laser actually just cut right through the plastic, will it dampen the effect, how much, and how much does it actually take to damage an eye?.Are alle protective glaes from different manufacturers equally protective? It could be very interresting, to get a scientific test and evaluation on theese question. Keep up the good work.

It's probably best to just be on the safe side and buy some glasses that are rated for this work. The enclosure lets some blue light through, probably not enough to hurt, but it's impossible to say if refracted blue light will cause cumulative damage down the road. The included glasses have no rating on them and still let some blue light through. The included glasses AND the enclosures tinted window together lets just about nothing through, so that combo should be safe. However, I have a pair of Cloudray OD06+ 455nm laser goggles and they wrap around your eyes in a similar manner to snowboard or skiing goggles. These let NO blue light through, not even the smallest hint of any blue light. OD6+ rated goggles supposedly eliminate 99.999% of the wavelength they're rated for, so I trust these completely. Better safe than sorry, or blind in this case.

Hi Igor, Love your channel. I would be interested in your evaluation of the new PolyHex™ (Hi-Temp PETG) Filament from IC3D. Their claims made sound promising and I wanted to see how is stacks up after going through your testing.

Does this protect agains the laser beams? Do we still have to wear glasses even though the cover is on?
