Once you've covered this song, you should embrace your balls, I noticed most of the viewers of this cover are experienced drummers. Yes we can see edits, but man, isn't it obvious? He can actually play it. Great techniques. Respect 🙏
idk man. there's tons of samples being used and fills not being played but i can still hear them. im not convinced he plays this song as good as it sounds.

He seems very talented and has excellent technique, but this video is so edited in an *attempt* to cover the mistakes, it's hard to not notice it.
I understand this is a very challenging song to pull off though, but I wish the transitions from different takes were more seamless. There are times you can clearly hear notes being played, while he's playing something completely different, like in 1:38.

To be fair, Eugene is probably the only one who can play it flawlessly... Even Francesco struggled to play their songs live and was very sloppy.
It's just some not very diligent video editing. He probably recorded the audio really well (multiple takes) but only did a take or two of video, and probably just didn't play it exactly the same as on the audio, so he had no proper video takes to choose from, and decided it's good enough as is. Can't blame him. Clearly he can play the song and there is no cheating here.
