Craig Mokhiber worked at the UN for three decades and recently resigned from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights over its failure to address what he called a “textbook case of genocide in Gaza.” He joined Rania Khalek to discuss what prompted him to leave when he did, the current Israeli assault on Gaza, the genocide label, challenges inside the UN on the issue of Palestine, and more.

I'm glad that the people around the world are waking up and see through the lies of mainstream media. It was really organized to the tee and the purpose is very clear. They are lead by money and power, bullying the weaker countries to bend to their will. This world is really unfair.

This is not the first time Israel commits genocide attacks on the Palestinians.
Israel refused to abide by HUNDREDS of UN resolutions, reports of violations of human rights, and military occupation.
The Goldstone report and UN resolution 242 always stick in my mind.

When you have seen on the ground videos made by both news media and private individuals of the horrors that the Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing as I have, you will cry into your pillow every night. Whipping the far right into a fever pitch of hatred and rage, despite the peace march starting over a mile away from, and 2 hours after the end of the ceremony before moving off *AWAY* from the cenotaph, they gathered in their hundreds determined to 'protect the cenotaph from terrorist supporters' these patRIOTERS became very frustrated to find there were NO 'terrorist supporters' to attack,
So they decided to demonstrate their love of "ENGERLAND ENGERLAND ENGERLAAAAND* and let's not forget their undying 'love' of British traditions and 'values' by attacking our police who were trying to protect the cenotaph and the ceremony taking place, eventually breaking through the police lines terrifying the veterans while yelling their moronic chants all the way through the ceremony.
and yet *ALL* of the mainstream media print and broadcast, have been linking to two events in order to link the peace march with the riot at the cenotaph.

As Americans we should feel this way all the time. It’s not only Palestine. Think of Yemen or Syria or even Native Americans. There are 2 meanings of the phrase "from the river to the sea". Please, do not put this phrase into the terrorist list, West, you'll only hurt the innocent victims in despair by doing that
One is used by the state of Israel by the basic Israeli law - permanently apartheid condition for any of the Palestinians who dont go over the river Jordan to the desert or to the other 3 countries of Jordan, Lebanon or Egypt, but stay in Palestine/the state of Israel
The second meaning of the phrase "from the river to the sea" describes the idea of creating a state which is not an apartheid state, but a secular and democratic state where justice is established for all. This second meaning of the prhrase/slogan is wrongly labeled by the western media and politicians as if the Palestinians wanted to bulldoze Israel into the Mediterranean Sea. Nobody talks about the fact that it doesn't mean you want to get rid of Israel when you shout that phrase on a pro-Palestinian march, but that you want to get rid of the apartheid Israel and overcome the apartheid conditions, build a secular democratic state, which seems to be the demand of a lot of people in Palestine. At least let people have an honest and decent discussion about what could be q possible future for Palestine beside the option of creating a 2 state solution finally.

The myth that colonialism is a thing of the past is why so many people are flabbergasted. It continues to live on, both in the neocolonialism perpetrated across Africa, Latin America, and the global south in general, but also outright, old school colonialism perpetrated in places like Palestine and Puerto Rico. Likewise, the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in its landmark judgment, Akayesu (1998), established that "the offender is GUILTY of GENOCIDE because he knew or SHOULD have known that the act committed would destroy, in whole or in part, a GROUP.

Srebrenica-450 soldiers prisoners killed, between 3-4000 mobilized male soldiers killed in an attempt to break through to town Tuzla. The Clinton administration (mostly Askhe...Nazi) on record demanded 5000 dead from the Bosniak authorities to enter war against Serbs. Later, the number of those killed was artificially increased. Serbs are wining at that time(western military, muslim mudzahedins are helping Bosniaks), they control 72% of Bosnia. They have no need to create a problem to themselves since Russia and the countries of the Islamic Conference are on the side of west, China is weak. Before Wolfovic's plan to destroy Muslim countries, it was necessary to build a picture of the offensive NATO, to show Muslims that the West is not against them. It is important to say that the war crime done against Bosniak military prisoners (otherwise an act of revenge for the 3,200 killed Serb civilians by Bosniak forces) was committed against captured mobilised men. Women, children and the elderly were taken by bus towards the Bosniak side of the line. Among the killed men in the forests around Srebrenica, there were some mobilised boys aged 16-18, otherwise all soldiers aged 18-60. For that crime, Serbia was accused of genocide. The British tried to declare the Serbs as a first genocidal nation, what Russia blocked in the UNSC. By the way, in WWI genocide was committed against Serbs by the Austro-Hungarian army, then in WWII by SS Croats and Bosniaks. International law doesn't exist. Only power hand of big players. The Sui generis example westerners made with Kosovo has now become a muster by which everyone has their own reason for doing what they do. From the chaos, NWO.

That's more the icing on the cake than a core ingredient. Settler colonialism is predicated on the genocide of the native population. They want the land and of course their resources, but primarily they want to rid that land of its natives and settle their own population there. It is an outdated system representing the power structure of post-WWII Europe. It also cannot be amended without all security council members accepting to lose their veto power.
When the US, being a country sold to the highest bidder, has a permanent seat with veto power, it makes it rather unrealistic to maintain stability internationally.
The League of Nations failed for a lot of reasons, but it culminated when WWII broke out. So, perhaps we won't see another global NGO with as much influence and global participation besides the UN until it fails at its core mission: preventing another international wide-spread conflict.
