Getting a little vulnerable here:
In my pursuit of this false idea of chastity, I tried to desensitize myself to sex through porn & masturbation so I could control myself if the “opportunity” ever arises. It’s been 7 years, and it seems I really cannot control myself (but my desire for porn has ended thanks to the sacrament of confession after a long hiatus). I think the understanding of chastity in the video is helpful to truly keep my urges in check, not to get rid of them.
Offer up yr urges in prayer. Get into the position of the Cross & stay there until it passes. ## occupy yr mind with an absorbing hobby by learning a new skill...
let go of all that shame and realise you did the most natural thing you could have done in a computer world

This isn't making sense. Might want to clearly define your points and I would suggest reading the Bible and praying on it.
Sounds as though St. John Paul absorbed a curiously (for a Catholic) large amount of Freudian psychology, so that he was a man of his time. We need not uncritically agree with this "repression" paradigm.
Sex before and out of marriage will curse you.

Do you think that we will be able to have sex in heaven as God designed it to be in the beginning? The Bible says we will not marry, but maybe the relationship between man and woman, husband and wife, will be far greater so that we don’t need a ring on the finger or a settlement for marriage…

Is all this not obvious? Sex is for marriage and it's sacred. The unmarried have to push it away though. We can't experience sexuality alone and marriage is not inevitable for all. So is the advice to turn to other loves? All we can do is turn away from it entirely. I wish there was more guidance on that life. All I can do is read the saints who lived that lifestyle.
I'm chaste because I will never have sex or get married. I think that defines chastity for me. Jesus Christ will return soon so don't get detracted with the things of life.
Are you chaste because you want it or because you have to?
No one knows when christ will return... that's coming from his own mouth. So, live your life, friend. Worship God, love your neighbors, and live your life.
