Most Dangerous Trekking Ever - PULIGUNDU HILL | Shivan temple |

puligundu history
Located at 15 kms from Chittoor, Puligundu is a dual rock mountain with a height of about 1000 feet from the ground.
Interestingly, the hill top resembles a Shiva Lingam. It has a very narrow peak with the temple of Puli Gunteeswara at the basement.
People from near-by villages offer special puja at the Shiva temple at the base of this rock during Makar Sankranti time, on the ‘Kanumu’ festival day.
The place also offers you quiet a good chance for some adventure with its steep track and helps satisfy your thirst for some real adventure.

It is better people visit this place in group of 10, since there is danger of pythons lurking in corners. When snakes and bats are there pythons may be there.
