    Holy guacamole! Playing duets with Sam Bush at 10 years old -- no pressure or anything! Sierra, you were a fine, young lady and one heck of a musician even then. This was a great video clip and I'm happy to have found it. Thank you.

    Wow, much better venue than the current stage they use there's actually room for some people and equipment. The Lyric theater that is now used ain't got enough room for five people lol. Kudos to a young Sierra Hull, she was on point with her playing and she held her own with one of the all time greats.👍

    Weird to pick this as my favorite part, but Sierra obviously anticipates the end lick stopping quicker than it does....and she still picks it up and never breaks time with her chop. Intuitive artistry and talent, even at that age.

      Audie McGinnis I agree!!!! She seems to be a natural. However, I think I remember her talking about how much her family pored into her all along the way. The love of a solid family seems to have a massive impact in the magnitude of a child’s dreams.
      My favorite part is when she starts to play and Sam bush starts to smile, from ear to ear!

      @@PossumJoesMando Hi Michael That was very welcome. Happy you liked my videos. You would have read my write-ups in a few of the videos posted about how I came about this talent and my interest in promoting myself. To be honest there is no scope in India for english music to develop. Hence I posted these tracks of mine on You tube, and even been trying to contact a few recording houses abroad and individuals musicians to make a break. I have uploaded a few but i have more than 130 tracks Country and Gospel and still counting......I do not believe in the worldly ways but in the Supernatural and being a very positive thinking person, Im sure I will one day get the opportunity to have my talent recognised. I had a good listen and enjoyed many of your great videos. Do keep in touch Michael. Can chat with me on 917829310277. Quentin From Bangalore India. bye and God Bless.

    I believe Michael Jonathon would be more at home in NYC if you know what I mean. Cain't they find any hill folk to do this show? Authenticity counts.

    • @PossumJoesMando
      @PossumJoesMando  10 років тому +4

      I don't know much about the man, I do know he provides a great platform for musicians to share their music with the community. I've not had the opportunity to see a show live, but the archives are free and they include the entire show, which is better than the radio broadcast. I've not heard him use this program to propagate a political agenda. As for authenticity counts, the artists present a wide selection of genera. I'm a conservative, but even among this group, positions drastically vary from one extreme to the other. So changing him out for some "hill folk" won't please everyone. I posted this episode because I'm impressed with Sierra Hull's skill at such a young age, no more, no less. Enjoy The Music.

    • @garst59
      @garst59 10 років тому

      I didn't expect a response. But since I got one, I'll tell you what I think.
      I suppose I should just keep my peace and enjoy the show. Country music, and specifically bluegrass and gospel music is uniquely American. I am proud of my hillbilly heritage and I resent outsiders siphoning the money, but more importantly deciding who does and who does not get a platform. MJ is not country. He has written many songs and I'm sure works very hard, but that is not the point. He has no connection to the culture, and his motives are suspect. (songs suck too).
      I guess I'm just bitter, because I don't recognize the country I grew up in and I know who to blame!
