Especially since Sega seems more willing to take risks now, like the new Samba game that’s coming soon and Frontiers being as out there as it was. Overall, it’s an odd yet beneficial partnership as it gives Sega more stakes in the mobile market, and hey it may even give Rovio better access to the console gaming industry if they ever want to try something.
This is the first time I've ever heard of a massive company buying a smaller (but still well known) company, and hearing it as a good thing... Neat!👍
I can see those two getting along well.
Microsoft buying Activision and Mojang happened but if it's your first time it's all right
@@SoapheadPog those are a bit more controversial but yeah I personally would say those were good things
But with the way the angry birds franchise is right now I’d say it’s a objectively good thing that this happened
This is a huge win for the fans! Sega handles the Sonic fandom very well, and actually takes fan suggestions and feedback to heart. I really do hope that Sega bring AB Classic back and possibly some other games too. Not to mention the newer games! This is some great news for anyone who has ever played this game.
I hope this means Angry Birds Toons will come back ngl the cartoons are good it's sad they stopped making them I remember that you could've watched the cartoons within the game which was pretty cool if you ask me
Very, their design was cool and more faithful to the original games
So, the old games are coming back?
If so, then I am happy! Also, they are bringing the old merch like plushies back?
This is cool!
Well let's hope sega can fix the
Franchise
Only people remember those the old day past there was crossover with Angry Birds x Sonic in Angry Birds Epic and Sonic Dash
Damn this truly is the end of a era
yea
May be the end of an era, but now its the start of a new one. Opening the door for so much more content in the mobile world.
I'm a Sonic fan thereby making me a Sega fan but I'm not really an Angry Birds fan but it seems interesting what Sega would end up doing with the Angry Birds franchise.
Okay, I actually wasn’t expecting to see _this_ on a Saturday morning 😂
The first collab should be them adding that one bird character(forgot the name) from sonic into angry birds 2
Next thing you'll know, Nintendo will make a game franchise that recycles pokemon species and be anthropomorphic in a way that's cute but differ from sonic and make it take place in Kirby's universe. And maybe angry bird and sonic will exist in the same universe sonic is in.
I’m hoping they bring back angry birds space and angry birds Star Wars because those two games are my literal childhood
Crazy news to hear!
You know, if we actually were to get an Angry Birds-styled game with Sonic characters being launched, with them having abilities like Sonic being the fastest with a Homing Attack, Amy being able to use her Piko Piko Hammer, or Tails flying or using turrets to fire missiles, I’d be there for it!
Was not expecting this, but i guess it could be a real improvment for both companies.
Oh I got an idea,
ANGRY BIRDS: STREETS OF RAGE
Angry Birds is Finnish?
Patrick: FINLAND!!!
Hello from the future, the deal has been finalized, so Rovio is now officially a Sega company.
Now Sega owns Atlus which does the Persona video games and Rovio which does Angry Birds.
I can’t wait to see the mobile game where Red Angry Bird shoots himself in the head with a Glock to activate his Persona!😂
Red in Sonic Dash and Sonic in Angry Birds Epic started all of this
They better release a collection on console with the classic games on it such as Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Space, etc.
Tbh unless it’s free or they do smt insane like bring back stella or fight in the collection I ain’t buying it seen emulation is so easy with rovio games. And with fight reboot alpha 2 out pretty much all their golden game releases are easy to play again (still hoping to see a fan continuation of stella)
@@lepeflo8958 I would mean enhances like in the original compilation. Better graphics, all levels, and no ads or purchases. I would happily pay money for that.
With this, Angry Birds being in the next Smash Bros is now possible, as it would be a SEGA rep. Assist trophy or fighter? Only time will tell.
SEGA will do what Rovion't!
NEXT TIME Eggman steals the eggs and turn them into little robot eggs
2:09 The reason why I would love to have that is because Angry Birds Go! Was my favorite racing game because I love racing games as a whole and seeing Red, Chuck, Bomb, and The Blues racing toward the finish line is such a treat!
I'm not sure how well this will end. But maybe Sonic may have a interaction with the birds in some sort of media. Wich I think might be nice
Hoping sega brings back the old games like rovio failed to
Please I just want to play Space again
mhm
Maybe they end up bringing back the old games again once Sega gets control over Rovio.
That would be win for everybody.
It’s interesting to see this happen! Let’s find out what happens with this partnership in the future!
Well can't wait for angry birds to have their own fast pacedrock music like sonic
I Bet They Are Gonna Make The Crossover.
Well both sonic and angry birds have or have had comic series made by IDW
I was initially surprised when I heard the news. But I think Sega might have disapproved of Rovio deleting the classic Angry Birds game along with the ones from Rio to Star Wars II and Sega thought it would be fitting to bring those games onto consoles
Don't forget that they also deleted Seasons, Go! & Epic
Huh? What?… guess that’s why there’s a angry birds epic crossover with sonic
Rovio really said
"Man I don't wanna do this anymore"
First Disney buying the Simpsons, and now this?
This seems way to idealistic but I have this idea for ab gf
I'm looking forward to the inevitable Angry Birds vs. Dr. Eggman game.
