As an Imperial Agents enjoyer, the real Christmas wish is for them to figure out the identity of the faction. It’s actually just kind of a step back to what chaos used to be as a faction in ye olden days when it was just one monolithic faction of mortals, daemons, and whatever else was setting appropriate e.i beastmen in fantasy. Lot of people consider the breaking up of that general rule to have been the start of a downward trend for chaos factions as it caused weird gaps in rosters or created factions that just kind of didn’t work (Beastmen again)
According to valrak its almost certainly happening now. Im very glad since I have a chaos daemons patrol since WE is just too anemic, and having half my army have 0 detachment or army rule hurts bad.
This is probably the most ideal scenario, and the one GW is probably going with. I can't imagine Chaos Daemons players have really liked how the army has been handled in 40K these last few editions. Being pulled in different directions, so it satisfies no one. At least slotting them into their respective mono-god CSM Legions would allow the rules writers to focus on particular gods thematically. Thousand Sons, for example, could be the Tzeentchiest Tzeentch army they could be.
Do like they did with Creed, and have it be Karamazov's replacement. Like, his protege. And have the man himself be mysteriously missing, and his student is out trying to find him.
Would be funny if the Drukhari Detachment would just be a Harlequin one, because you can play them in Drukhari and Drukhari have already gotten their second detachment
For eldar I really wish that Harlequins would be treated separately for Grotmas, because really they need their own thing. They could also have the codex Quins work like the nids detachment where you pick between 3 'adaptations' (Light,Dark,Twilight) and have that encompass all of Quins idk. I want SOMETHING Corsair themed since we got the funny pirates and they just have no real home. An Anrathe/Corsair detatchment would be so fun.
Chaos Knight model idea - Slaanesh Wyrm. Giant tail, the head rips forward to give it a serpentine appearance, and thick cords trailing back and spindling into the magma weapon Maulerfiends have. Lasher whips that attack many, many times that can then combine into a massive volcano sniper, or lots of small piercing cutters
My wish for Imperial Agents- It's an Inquisition faction. Give us Inquisitorial Stormtroopers! Hell, just let us use black painted Scions. Also, jump troops for Guard.
Chaos Knights just need The Gods-Pledged detachment - 4 unique big knights, each uniquely designated for each of the Chaos Gods. Spikey with massive bulging demonic muscles in legs and arms for Khorne, glowing runic one with eyes and bird wings for Tzeentch, kinky pink-purple centaur for Slaanesh and pustular gooey spider one with tentacles for Nurgle. Boom, blam, easy cool new 4 units, 4 cool new unit sheets and 4 cool new models.
@@zerlz9078 I think Despoiler is more fitting for Undivided It's the most versatile, and its kit is just a Questoris with two thin Chaos coats of paint According to CSM's Pactbound Zealots detachment, shooting is a Tzeentchian and Nurglite thing, which means Desecrator is Nurlge, which sounds incredibly wrong
Spicy idea for a Creations of Bile detachment: must take Bile as your Warlord, and he buffs ALL your Infantry units. However...you can no longer use Dark Pacts (since Bile is an atheist and doesn't even believe in the Gods). Also agree on a new Word Bearers detachment. Would love a CSM detachment where running Daemons in the list is viable (besides Nurglings).
Thousand Sons- i want a (psychic) Predator variant with a pyramid turret covered in vulture heads that shoots lightning. (psychic) mummy sarcophagus Dreadnought with warp flamer arms or giant khopesh blades. Flying units- Warp Talon variants. Why does the bird Legion not have flying? Maybe they're birb men with giant magic swords, IDK. Melee Rubrics or Scarabs. Death Guard- Plague Marines on Slugs that are somehow slower than regular plague Marines yet hit like a truck. Havok-style anti tank units with acid cannons. Super Mario-style sewer pipes that pop up from the ground via Warp f*ckery and vomit Plague Marines in the backfield.
I just want more units for ksons man! I made an army list for 2000 points and (while avoiding epic heros due to personal preference) I had to use every unique thousand sons unit and some Tzeentch demons just to get to the points limit!
I just want magic vehicles in general, it doesn't have to be whole new kits just like a DA upgrade sprue for like land raider and rhino that has like a tzaangor or some pinkies going Alakazam that you slap on the front of the vehicle and they do actual psychic instead of a vague buff to the rubrics
@@CloverBoe that used to be how it was done. Chaos Rhinos and Predators had special rules depending upon the Mark they took. Nurgle got an infestation of Nurglings, Mark of Khorne got you a meat grinder on the front, etc. Sadly, at this point I don't think we're getting any upgrades to existing generic Chaos kits. GW is phasing those out. If we are blessed with anything new, it will probably be specific to TSons, like the Plagueburst, Blighthauler, or Bloatdrone are to Death Guard.
I just want my grot tanks to come out of legends... seriously though, I just got one of my Christmas wishes. Something awesome to watch before work that makes me laugh. Thank you.
Something I think would be fun for Sisters, which goes well with what I think was the Christmas wish last year (a Baneblade, but make it Sisters), would be a very tank-centric detachment that boosts the Castigator and Exorcist. Maybe throw in a new tank variant too, and if we want to be really greedy, have it not be just another Rhino chassis with extra/different stuff on top...?
My World Eaters combat patrol will be here by christmas. Maybe by the time I paint and assemble the entire thing I'll get a new model in the range to paint.
23:08 My wife just got me a questoris knight for Christmas, please don't make it suddenly a bad purchase, she was so proud to have guessed the one i wanted
Given the detachments released so far, there's decent odds that it'll focus on SOTs. If so, I'm going to be very busy painting up 10 of them over the next few days to attend a tournament even if it's awful because I love SOTs. And if it's Tzaangors, well, I've got 12 enlightened and 2 shamans, I'll live
My aeldari christmas wish: Some books that I actually don't dread reading. Also the femtosecond after Brad said "We just got beat" I got an ad for a Gaza crisis center worker saying "It's hard to describe the horrors we've witnessed" Side note, It's remarkable how the actual advent calendar detachments for nids and deathguard are the exact opposite of what B&E put on the wishlist.
If GW was smart they would showcase all the new models first and have them up for pre-order so they can ship out for Christmas. But that would be smart so it’s obviously not happening
I would love it if chaos knights got thematic upgrade sprues themed towards each god for a new themed rule. Some melty/fleshy bits, mouths, and pustules for nurgle. Chained up, engraved, and covered in skulls for korn. Eyes, lies, and little blue/pink guys for Tzeentch. Some extra extra extra trim, handsome sculpted faceplate, and slender/agile legs for Slaanesh.
Especially with the inevitable new pricing increase that's coming on their release in the coming weeks. They're probably going up to 65 like the Kasrkin, if not higher.
@@averageeughenjoyer6429 yeah, they got a refresh. But until further notice the only way to get standard infantry is 10 to a box through the repackaged kill team box. $65 for 10 horde infantry models is flirting with AdMech levels of points per dollar.
1:00:25 I suggested this EXACT detachment idea on discord this morning good to see someone else noticed the badmoon GAP and poor shootaboyz not having a niche.
With God as my witness, if Deathwatch just get their index detachment from the beginning of the edition reprinted, I’m going to fight someone with the same fury that Khârn did after finding out his bf was killed.
My idea for an SoB detachment was a vehicle-focused detachment that leans on how their vehicles are all holy relics. As for Necrons, a Thokt-themed detachment with radiation as a gimmick, for Orks BLOOD AXES.
I love that you always wish for the Tau Crisis Suit model update. But lets not forget that they got an update in 2015. They look way better than the old stiff ones. If i had a wish for Christmas, it would be more different suits. I liked the Forgeworld Riptide varients or even the other quirky FW Tau Battlesuits. There is so much potention then just "updated" Crisis Suits. Hope you have a lovely Christmas Time!
Chaos Knight here, not seen the video yet but I want a big knight with a jump pack, Moirax in plastic or a big knight with tank treads Edit seeing the chaos knight section: yea creepy knight would be sick, maybe a crab knight
34:55 Just make it possessed, warptalon, oblitz, daemons kin focused stuff with a minor benefit to cultists, traitor guard and accursed cultists. Doesn't need to be a "soup" detachment. Plenty to work with there.
GSC Wishlist: - rebalance, points increases, and new army rule (as stated) - a walker or monster - heavy weapon neophyte teams - named character - snipers or generally stealthy msu unit to provide long range chip and support/debuffs It's my only faction, and I love it, but there are so many glaring holes in the range that need filling
A quick and dirty way to double the World Eaters model range would be to add a detachment that gives Khorne Daemons the World Eaters keyword. Everyone seems to want it too considering every third post on the subreddit is asking "are bloodletters/Skarbrand viable?"
I might have mentioned this in a previous comment, but in the book Steel Tread there is a Chaos Knight which had all four of its limbs replaced/mutated into blades so it couldn't balance on two legs anymore and instead ran around on all four stabbing stuff. The Chaos Knights that are more than "evil Imperial Knights" already exist, they just need models and rules.
The German pedantic idiot in me needs to tell you that you forgot to count the Daemon Prince with wings, and that same idiot is fully aware you already made your point with the counter. And you are right. I will watch the rest of this wonderful peace of entertainment now.
So as a Dark Angel player, the detachment we got is on paper the last thing missing from the DA codex which is combining the Death/Ravenwing. As a T'au main I know many will say armoured T'au but I just kinda want a detachment where it combines T'au and Kroot. Outside of Rampagers for a decent melee unit and Carnivores for the sticky rule. They get no army rule, no detachment rule and no strat support outside of there own detachment. Also don't forget the Vespid they have no real support in any detachment and have no army rule.
For these christmas detachments, they likely won't cover the "other central theme of the army" of the factions still stuck with indexes. For factions that do have a codex, the extra christmas detachments are just filling in for any leftover flavors or playstyles of the army that aren't already covered by the primary set of detachments. They have confirmed that these christmas detachments will still be playable after an army's codex is released, so they have to be accounting somewhat for those codex rules when creating the christmas extra detachments. Thus they are likely to fill a lesser niche of the index factions rather than their direct theme (IE: the new deathguard detachment is based around more mobility for infantry, not directly increasing durability like a stereotypical deathguard detachment might do in the actual codex)
the grey knight mask and hunched posture of the ork that is eric for some reason made me think it was a ninja turtle, and now I need a squad of Ninja turtle orks
Honestly my biggest wish for the chaos armies is Chaos Xenos (the major xenos specifically), but not as full fledged armies but subfactions/components of the existing ones like Tzaangors, cults, and (maybe) Daemons are. It can add to the ragtag warband vibe of the faction, especially with detachments able to be more vague rather than based on actual subfactions, while also having xenos feature more prominently by virtue of being a part of the Imperium's main rival and also adding a more dynamic relationship to Chaos for these factions by making Chaos effect these other xenos factions on the same personal level as humans instead of just being quirky emotion tyranids. You can still have the bit about humans being more corrupted but just add in a bit of variety, and also that's a moot point since Space Marines are supposed to be really rare yet they're everywhere, it's really a case of perspective.
I wish for Votann have their free detachment be focused on either mechanized infantry, or something kinda like Champions of Russ. Where you choose some Judges Units at the start of the game, then get bonuses for your whole army as you kill those judged targets.
All I want for Adepta Sororitas this Christmas is for GW not to ruin miracle dice in the next update. For their detachment I would like something based around the Battle Hymns they recently published in White Dwarf for their Crusade rules.
Fun fact: the spit roads meme comes an anime only Yu-gi-oh card called dramatic cross roads. It was used by The Chazz to place another anime only card 'Love Letter' into the hand of Alexis in an elaborate scheme to hit on her through the mechanics of the card game.
The 8 Eldar detachments are basically spoken for, if not pointing at some thematic cuts. Ulthwe and whatever the Ranger army was, unless surprise exodites
That Sister Detachment is my wish too, something to buff the basic Sister, kinda like a detachment where the Question is; how many power armored girls do you wanna take. And the answer is YES
If we’re being more realistic, for Necrons I’d like a plastic Trazyn, and we can get an actual proper release for the C’tan at a later date. As for a detachment, bring back Mephrit parking lot
I think a cool way to solve the World Eaters half-army issue is to release their new models _alongside_ the launch of Emperor's Children, because Khorne and Slaanesh oppose each other. Make a big deal out of how "their hated rivals" heard the Emperor's Children were about to get a lot of attention and the World Eaters won't stand to let them hog all the glory! Then release both new World Eaters kits and the Emperor's Children release boxes at the same time. Give people some options, even if they're both Chaos! Play into the narrative of the setting!

Thousand Sons, for example, could be the Tzeentchiest Tzeentch army they could be.
1:09 Space Marines did in fact just get another lieutenant. Lieutenant Titus datasheet dropped today
For the sororitas character we could give someone karamazov’s chair, then GW can mess with nerds for years by not saying where karamazov is.
Long term this wouldn’t be a bad idea, have the dark side of quin’s in drukhari and light in Aeldari. It wouldn’t be the worst idea
@@proicec7718 and the chaotic neutral side?
Also model it so the dick jokes are easy and plentiful
My wish for Imperial Agents-
It's an Inquisition faction. Give us Inquisitorial Stormtroopers! Hell, just let us use black painted Scions.
Also, jump troops for Guard.
Jump pack Scions! ❤
I want a dreadnought custodes detachment, let Mech-Stodes be a thing!
For GSC, all I want is a return to the 9th edition rules
It’s a very low bar for us, I’ll take literally anything.
For somehow who loves psykers, I also want to return to 9th edition rules
Votann need anything. Literally anything. The range is 12 models.
Well, we do have 2 out of the four:
Knight Rampager for Khorne
Knight Abominant for Tzeentch
Knight Desecrator for Undivided?
@@zerlz9078 Well, it is a good start. Now also add unique 2 big ones and 5 more unique Wardogs variants, one for each of the gods.
@@zerlz9078 I think Despoiler is more fitting for Undivided
It's the most versatile, and its kit is just a Questoris with two thin Chaos coats of paint
According to CSM's Pactbound Zealots detachment, shooting is a Tzeentchian and Nurglite thing, which means Desecrator is Nurlge, which sounds incredibly wrong
1:09 Titus getting a datasheet today. I think Berylio is leaking info to GW
Tzeentch is about confusion thats why his greater deamons are walking birds and his fliers are sea creatures
@@averageeughenjoyer6429 ok, Screamer Marines then 🤣
45:30 dont worry Brad I started cackling when you said that.
I just want my grot tanks to come out of legends... seriously though, I just got one of my Christmas wishes. Something awesome to watch before work that makes me laugh. Thank you.
Space Marines don't get presents, they get three ghosts.
Primarus Lieutenant of Christmas past , present and future
Careful trash talking Agents players- there’s dozens of us!
DOZENS!
For T-sons - I really hope it's not tzaangors, but a someone dug into the website and fished out the name of the t-son detachment "hexwarp Thrallband"
The entire Custodes section I was thinking about how cool dread host would be to have back and then you curse me with the "jetbikes detachment"
Let me guess
-more detachments
-the rest of the model range
- a wishlist of models
Let's see how we go
Every faction is at least gonna get the first one thanks to the Grotmas Calendar.
CSM unit wise wants a damn dreadnought for each of the factions. I want a literal sarcophagus dread for Thousand Sons.
My World Eaters combat patrol will be here by christmas. Maybe by the time I paint and assemble the entire thing I'll get a new model in the range to paint.
I'm fairly sure T'au canonically have energy kopesh's for use on the crisis battlesuits but they never got translated to the tabletop game.
Bile needs his own army
23:08 My wife just got me a questoris knight for Christmas, please don't make it suddenly a bad purchase, she was so proud to have guessed the one i wanted
Ksons detachment tomorrow btw!
5 dollars it's tzaangors.
@@SnootyBootch That would be both hilarious and incredibly mean spirited... such is the Tzeentch way!
Guards model want is the Krieg Marshal in plastic so I dont have to convert a Cadian Castellon
My aeldari christmas wish: Some books that I actually don't dread reading.
Also the femtosecond after Brad said "We just got beat" I got an ad for a Gaza crisis center worker saying "It's hard to describe the horrors we've witnessed"
Side note, It's remarkable how the actual advent calendar detachments for nids and deathguard are the exact opposite of what B&E put on the wishlist.
I want my big knights to be good in chaos
37:36 Bravo Borelio! That enhancement card edit is absolutely f*ing top tier! Les gooooooooooo!
A great episode to listen to while cutting up blue horrors for my thousand sons army!
"We just got beat." sounds like christmas to me!
Church was still the worst part of christmas. Id have taken a second beating just to skip it
Speaking of Christmas, it would be pretty cool to see you guys review all of the Christmas detachments after they’ve all come out.
Love the longer videos. Yall keep me sane during work!
The slow edit going through all the demon characters, and it just keeps going is peak. Good job Berilio!
If GW was smart they would showcase all the new models first and have them up for pre-order so they can ship out for Christmas. But that would be smart so it’s obviously not happening
Please no knights of the cog for admech, I just want a generalist detachment that works
14:45 Krieg players would wish for a proper infantry box instead of having to buy models through kill team sets.
Their range was refreshed last month I think
Especially with the inevitable new pricing increase that's coming on their release in the coming weeks. They're probably going up to 65 like the Kasrkin, if not higher.
@@averageeughenjoyer6429 yeah, they got a refresh. But until further notice the only way to get standard infantry is 10 to a box through the repackaged kill team box.
$65 for 10 horde infantry models is flirting with AdMech levels of points per dollar.
They just announced that around a week ago and the video had the preview for it in the background
@@Stormer-vx5kw I haven’t seen anything except the kill team box.
1:00:25 I suggested this EXACT detachment idea on discord this morning good to see someone else noticed the badmoon GAP and poor shootaboyz not having a niche.
Tzaangor detachment, my beloved! 🎉🎉
When the students surprise you with new extra credit, do you grade their new detachments before the end of year report cards?
I must get my Redemptor scale chassis i must be as cool in model as i am in lore.
Did we get an assassin's tier list from every Fraktion, like liktor, halekins, vindicar assassin usw? :)
Opened my UA-cam app on lunch to this absolute early Christmas present. Hell yeah
Biel-Tan are the aspect warrior one, you’re thinking of Saim-hann are the bike ones, then there’s alaitoc the ranger one, and aiyaden the wraith one
You're correct I swapped those two names in my head.
45:38 the punchline was immediately followed up by an ad break lmfao
We have advent calendars in the UK, each day has a corresponding door and there's a little chocolate a sweet or a toy behind them.
Chaos Knight here, not seen the video yet but I want a big knight with a jump pack, Moirax in plastic or a big knight with tank treads
Edit seeing the chaos knight section: yea creepy knight would be sick, maybe a crab knight
fix trazyn's data sheet, please make him usable
34:55 Just make it possessed, warptalon, oblitz, daemons kin focused stuff with a minor benefit to cultists, traitor guard and accursed cultists. Doesn't need to be a "soup" detachment. Plenty to work with there.
Eric only gets to be an Ork if we get every factions primaris lieutenant
GSC Wishlist:
- rebalance, points increases, and new army rule (as stated)
- a walker or monster
- heavy weapon neophyte teams
- named character
- snipers or generally stealthy msu unit to provide long range chip and support/debuffs
It's my only faction, and I love it, but there are so many glaring holes in the range that need filling
Hearing Brad continuously refer to Saim-han as Biel-tan made my elf heart cry🤣😭🤣
Guys I love your content.
Plz update youtube music more often, that's the only way I can keep up while I'm at work.
Would be cool to see an episode next month reviewing the Christmas gift detachments
I wish for Votann have their free detachment be focused on either mechanized infantry, or something kinda like Champions of Russ. Where you choose some Judges Units at the start of the game, then get bonuses for your whole army as you kill those judged targets.
Fun fact in response to the CSM section; in the 9th mega leak that spoiled Votann and WE, they also mentioned new Chaos Bikers
Knight players wishing for a second dimension to their gameplay.
I accept your alternate timeline as well. A perfectly reasonable set of wishes.
Please do the follow up episode. In Jan, compare the wish to the gift. Can also rate the new detachments.
Play into the narrative of the setting!
world eaters always gets like 30 seconds tops in these videos, my poor angry lads deserve more love
