This is really great idea and it’s going to be fun to make!! Thank you for a new Christmas craft to learn and do! Your tutorial was very slow enough for an older person to understand and hear and to learn. Great Job!!👍👍
Yes she is always wanting in my lap when I am crafting . She still does but now I I keep a chair for her and her blanket . 😀 thank you for watching . Happy Holidays.
Thank you Angelique. I was looking for a Holiday DIY so I can do with my daughters and your video was perfect ❤ Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and your family 🥰 NEW SUBBIE ❤
Thanks for sharing this Christmas craft. I actually have all the supplies needed and this will be a fun craft to do with friends/family. Your ornaments are really cute.
These are so cute! I have the exact same sweater that You are wearing and I love it! Yours looks very beautiful on You. Don’t worry I live far away in South Dakota. I am sure that We won’t bump into each Other wearing the same sweater. I also bought the one in Lavender or violet. It is very pretty too. This ornament is ADORABLE AND AWESOME! I will need to buy some of the flat ornaments and visit Joannes as well. Happy Holidays!! 😊👍🏼❤️🙏🏽✝️☃️🥗🎄❄️👋🏼
Thank you . I still have to pink sweater and love it to . I don’t remember where I got it but if they had other colors I wish I had gotten more . I just posted a new updated one that is also super cute with fluff . Thanks for watching and Happy Holidays as well .
I had never seen this idea before. I've begun to think of all kinds of things I could do with fabric. The only question I have is, do you have to put the mod podge on the outside of the fabric? Is it there for protection of the material or is it necessary for adhesive. I don't think I have used it before.
Yes the modge podge is to keep the fabric on the ornament. When it dries it stays hard on the fabric . I also have a new updated one if you want to watch that one as well . Thanks for watching .😊I hope you try it they are fun to make . Happy Holidays .
First off thank you so much for sharing and for taking the time to show us step by step. I was wondering how much $$ would you sell them for. Thinking I might be able to raise some money. Thank you, Irene
Very cute. When you do the 2nd side do you trim the extra fabric along the sides side that it doesn’t lap over the 1st side causing it to be visible where the sides meet?
Has anyone by chance tried making these with the plastic ornaments? I only ask because I went all over our town and the next town over and still couldn’t find the glass ones. Is there a reason that you can’t use plastic? Just asking. Thank you
New to your channel, found your instructions to be very well paced and clear. I have subscribed to see more of your crafts. Yours from the chilly Canadian.
It is to clean the ornaments. I forgot to show it . I have a new updated one if you want to watch that one . I show how to use the alcohol. Thanks for watching . 😊
I have one that a good friend gave me a few yrs back. We are farmers and she found one that had tractors on it. It used paper instead of fabric. Love it!

LOVE THIS! I just bought a variety of Grinch Material. I wasn't sure what I would do with it. Now I know...I will do some ornaments! QUESTION: Do you do both sides at same time before letting it dry for an hour OR do you do 1 side first, let dry for an hour, then do the 2nd side? I wasn't clear on this. Thx!
@@susanspisak65 I will be posting some new ones soon thank you for watching. 😊 been moving and trying to settled . Send a picture when you try one out .
You did front and back at the same time? Or did you do the front first, let it dry an hour then do the back? I think I missed that part 🤔 These look great!
Beautiful ornaments! Well Done. But, just one of those things that bugs me - it's MOD podge, not modge podge......so many people get it wrong. MOD Podge, not Modge Podge.
I usually buy 1/2 yard of fabric because I make other things usually with it . But to make a ornament just enough for a 4 inch ornament . Each side would need a 7 x 11 inches that gives room to cut around it .
@@angeliqueashton9578 oh another ? I couldn’t find those exact ornaments..I found the round ones, can I use them ?and is it the same process..cutting the fabric in a square?
I'm not sure I haven't tried the round ones . So not sure but if you do yes the same process. Hobby Lobby has the flat ones right now . I just got the mini flat ones and the 4 inch flat ones . Check your HL location.
Cutting little slits along the curved edges will make the fabric lay flat. :)

Can you use plastic ornaments?
Awesome 🤩
Cute project ❤🌲❤🌲

First off thank you so much for sharing and for taking the time to show us step by step. I was wondering how much $$ would you sell them for. Thinking I might be able to raise some money. Thank you, Irene
I would say about 10 to 15 dollars depending on the size of the ornament. Your welcome thanks so much for watching 😊
Could I do this with shirts? Want to make ornaments from button up shirts my grandpa used to wear.
I love this! Where did you get your grinch material from again? They are so cute and easy whale as well!!!!
I got the material at Joann’s . I was in there yesterday and they have it out already and new prints .
So cute!!! I have a bunch of these ornaments and will get busy getting them ready for the kids.
Very cute. When you do the 2nd side do you trim the extra fabric along the sides side that it doesn’t lap over the 1st side causing it to be visible where the sides meet?
Yes trim off the extra fabric 😊 thanks for watching . A new one will go up today . New grinch items and ornaments .
Has anyone by chance tried making these with the plastic ornaments? I only ask because I went all over our town and the next town over and still couldn’t find the glass ones. Is there a reason that you can’t use plastic? Just asking. Thank you
Yes you can use the plastic I just don’t have the plastic one . As long as they are flat that is the easiest. Thank for watching . 😊
I love this! Wondering how to do this with a round ornament!
I’m finishing one now! I had to cut the fabric very small so they can lay right!
Same it is just a bit more time and patience for the round ones .
New subscriber to your channel. Excellent tutorial!
Hello. These are wonderful. Does it have to be glass or can it be plastic?
You can use plastic. I have a updated version that I posted a couple days ago thanks for watching

@@angeliqueashton9578 we sure do! Freezing rain forcasted also.
I will be honest and say I was not a believer at first. I was for sure the fabric would not lay right, but great job!
Thank you! 😊
I made these last year and when I brought them out of storage they are sticking to each other and the tissue paper? Any suggestions?
I store mine in a storage cardboard box. I took them out this year and they were fine so far .
What is the running alcohol and flat cotton balls for ????
It is to clean the ornaments. I forgot to show it . I have a new updated one if you want to watch that one . I show how to use the alcohol. Thanks for watching . 😊
This is great. Thanks for showing us how to make it.
Oh my gosh how cute, how much is the fabric?🥰
Great project! Did you overlap the fabric at the edges or cut the fabric to butt together flush? 😊
I just made them flush as close together as I could . Thanks for watching .😀
Absolutely adorable thank you for sharing❤

Can you use plastic clear ornaments
Yes plastic ones will work as well . I just haven’t found any flat plastic ones yet . Thanks for watching . 😊
How much fabric u could use for each one
Depends on the size of your ornaments . For this size I’ll measure when I get home . But about the size of a piece of bread each side .
Very cute … what was the alcohol for?
Sorry it is for cleaning the ornament so it doesn’t have fingerprints or dust on the ornament. Thanks for watching 😊

Does it matter which mod podge. Gloss or matte.
No it doesn't matter either one will work they dry clear. Thanks for watching .
You did front and back at the same time? Or did you do the front first, let it dry an hour then do the back? I think I missed that part 🤔

I did the front and back at the same time . Let it dry or use a hair dryer or heat gun to dry it.
Beautiful Thankyou for sharing
Beautiful ornaments! Well Done. But, just one of those things that bugs me - it's MOD podge, not modge podge......so many people get it wrong. MOD Podge, not Modge Podge.

Yes it can . Thanks for watching. Hobby lobby has all sizes clear ornaments right now 50% off.
