I’ve always wanted to make these as I have Danish family but couldn’t get my head round the instructions. Thanks for making it fabulously crystal clear and for sharing with us. Much love Nanny Bee 🥰
I made these as a child with paper.I use "Sunday funny papers" aka the Colored comic pages. One of those things that was easy to do then, but made time had me forgot exactly how. 50+ years. Thank you for an easy to follow tutorial. These came out wonderfully.
I wanted to make these in the past, but life happened. Things are different now, so thanks for the reminder. Now, time to do some shopping for supplies.
I have made these in paper, and a few in fabric, i prefer the fabric ones, i wouldn't have thought of using the ultra hold, brilliant idea, that tip alone makes me glad I watched your video. By the way, love the fabric you used. Thank You for sharing your time, and your talent with all of us.
I love these! Thank you for showing us again. It reminds me to make them. Maybe this year I'll have time. There are always newer and better ways to do things. I love the idea of the heat and bond strip 👍
Thank you for the tutorial. The fabric is gorgeous! I made these many years ago from paper, then about 20 years ago from fabric. Back then the gold and silver foils on fabric melted on the iron with the lightest touch. I think I'll try this with new fabrics.
Hi Mathew, appreciate this YT tutorial. ❤️ Made a bunch for holiday gifts first time around, then my daughter did too. 😁 This year, will make some to keep & enjoy, plus some to gift. Excited about stabilizer & glue options, thank you for teaching us that! 🎉
love these stars 🤩. I used to make them out of paper and tried them out of fabric years ago. It only became one. But when I see these stars now I want to try them out of fabric again In Germany we say Froebel stars. Thank you for showing it.
You came up in my algorithm (thank you, UA-cam) and I realized when I clicked on, that I already follow you on Blue Sky! Instant subscriber 🎉 Great tutorial. Can’t wait to watch everything you’ve done.
I love these fabrics, they're all so beautiful! Thanks for doing this again, I know you did a video years ago of how to do these but these are even prettier than the ones you did then. Happy Holidays!
Dude, could you be any more my dream perfect man? I’m willing to leave my husband and share my fabric stash with you. “Why don’t we rewrite the stars?” (Ala THE GREATEST SHOWMAN). I’m def gonna make some of these. You are a delight. ❤ thanks for your energy, vibes, good taste, and beautiful free spirit.
I’ve seen other tutorials for these but I admit yours is my fav! Very clear and great camera work! Can’t wait to make some and gift to my mini group as well as make with kids! ❤ Happy and joyful holiday wishes to you guys! 🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻
Thank you for such a clear tutorial. My daughter gave me beautiful mosaic origami paper from Portugal. I made miniature stars with the mosaic paper. They will be gifts for my guests at our Thanksgiving table. However. I don't see hoe I can glue them. Too tiny. So I hope they'll hold up anyway.😊
My first time watching your channel. I love these! As many craft papers don’t come in 14 inch lengths, what would the dimensions be for the paper version? Thank you in advance!
I have not personally made them with ribbon. But have seen them. You need to use a ribbon you can iron ( or use a good pressing cloth) so the points will be defined. It may take a little more time as many ribbons are slippery, but it can be done. The commenter suggested wired ribbon, which might work. I's also suggest a wide grosgain ring in as it has a little texture and will grip to itsself similat to fabric.
Here's a link to the fabric I used: mxdomestic.myshopify.com/collections/luna-by-makower-uk-with-andover-fabrics
I just made three of them last week! I strung them together with glass beads in between. They will hang on my apartment door! Yay!
I bet they're beautiful
Ohh, I’d love to see them.
That last TADAAAAAAA made me smile so big. Can't wait to make these!

Can you use bias tape to make these? I have lupus and my hands often hurt, using bias tape would save me some time, work, and my hands!
The bias tapes I've seen aren't as wide, so the star may be smaller. But I cant think why it wouldn't work. It's definitely worth trying!
I think bias tape would work really well to make these.
I love them but have never been able to make them. I'm going to try again. Will have to watch your video several times I'm sure. Thank you❤
Hope you enjoy
Grateful for the pause button and the ability to slow down the video!
I made a couple without glue, but changed my mind and the next one will be with glue. Love from the Netherlands xxx

Gorgeous stars! What fabric did you use? Love it!
Hi- I think it’s called Luna by Makower (UK).
Here's a link in my shop: mxdomestic.myshopify.com/collections/luna-by-makower-uk-with-andover-fabrics
Very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Have you done any with the dimensional points on the top too? Wondering if it would hold up.
Thank you
your nails match
Welcome back. Missed your laugh
These are really beautiful, that FABRIC! 🌟 Do you this this would work with ribbon? Or is it not rigid enough since it's one ply? Thanks!
So, did you glue the one with the heat n bond when you made the points?
My first time watching your channel. I love these! As many craft papers don’t come in 14 inch lengths, what would the dimensions be for the paper version? Thank you in advance!
Will that lip gloss glue work on paper?
Can they be made half the size?? Maybe use tweezers to tuck
?
Yes, they can. Just takes a little more time and patience to work with the skinnier strips. Tweezers are a great idea!
💙💙💙🙏😊
Thank you thank you thank you
Fb reel brought me ❤
5:40 Forbidden lipgloss.
Has anyone made these with ribbon?
I think you might want to use “wired ribbon”

I just cannot get past those painted nails. Sorry!
