Just came across this video and ive got to say how it really hit home. At 15 i made a lot of bad decissions and by my early 20's was a drug addict in jail. Got out and drank the next 15 years away. No home,no children, no nothing living under a bridge. Since then i have faught and faught to get back up and with the grace,love and help from God i am now happily married, own a small farm, love every day and work hard. If you think your down and out then start climbing, dont give up, don't surrender, it can be done ! Havent cried in a long time but this song.....

Hey Brother, I want say all your songs are kick ass! This song is my favorite song! I played this song for my X-wife who is a substance abuse and director of a in patient substance abuse program . One night a week the program has a one hour night class in which close too 30 patients attend . She played this song at the class and she said that the room got completely quiet and EVERY single patient in the class had tears rolling down their cheeks including another counselor and the intern! She has worked in substance abuse for 20 years and said it was the best class she has ever attended to where the class went an hour longer because of the emotions your song sparked!!! Brother that is the epitome of being a true artist! I would love to shake your hand hop on our dawgs and take a long f#ckin ride! You should be extremely proud of what you do and how your songs touch the deepest part of men and women’s souls! GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER!! Thank you

He was ckean and had so many dreams and ambitions after he got out of prison in 2017. Slowly he fell back to his old ways in the last 2 years. The song Church hit me even harder than this one! I chose booze over my family and caused my dad to die with a broken heart. I chose whiskey and vodka over the one person that believed in me the the most....I have to live with that for the rest of my life. I like Tom's emotional stuff as much as his political stuff.

Tom, I am entering into a impatient drug rehabilitation center in less then 24 hours from now. I have been using drugs for over 26 years now and I'm scared. I have been to jails, institutions and I have even been to the state penitentiary. Yes, all of that was scary, but I must say.... I have never been as scared as I am now! For the past few days I have been listening to ur music, over and over again. Only thing that is currently giving me any hope. Thank you for that.... Really, without your music and experiences Tom, I don't believe I would be able to go through with this....

This song is part of the reason I try to push these suicidal thoughts out of my head. Molested by my dad at a young age, now almost 30, and I am working my way out. They say that you stop growing mentally after abuse like that. Well I was about 10 years old and I have spent the last 20 getting these rocks out of my life. Thank you for this song. So glad God put this song into my life when he did. So thankful Tom and Nova are kicking such booty right now and that from Clown World I found this wonderful song. You have to care for others and look at things from their perspective. And this song is just so beautiful. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Im sorry for that terrible thing that happened to you! For me, my brothers and my mom, it was merciless physical and emotional abuse. I allowed it to make me angry and prone to violence. Drug and alcohol abuse was my escape. I finally decided I hated myself, so suicide was the next logical choice. Then I remembered what I learned about God as a child. I finally forgave my dad for how I was treated and forgave myself for all the damage done by my choices. Forgiveness is key, and I dont think anyone can truly forgive without accepting forgiveness themselves.
I don't have anything I can say to you. I don't know your pain. All I can say is that I hope that you are happy and healthy these 2 months down the road.

I listened to it and loved it which took me to every single one of your songs and I love every single one of them. Every single night I come home from work I play your music over and over. Tom, I embody the line about the "wheelchair Ramp leading up to the door" for my wife. My wife of 20 years passed from Cancer 5 years ago. It was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with, leaving me with our two kids to continue raising. I am so glad that I had the family network I have, otherwise I may have gone the wrong direction. I have just recently found your music, but you truly are inspirational to so many. Keep up the great work. If everyone would just try to put themselves in someone else's shoes before they judge them, this world would be a much better place.
