Great reference video. No frills info and a solid hosting job. Brings back just enough nostalgia to buy a box, but not too many! Great job. This video should be the standard on the subject.
I have a question for you. The sets that I have are half green border and half blue border in one set. is this correct or am i possibly missing some cards
@@Hungryman97sCollectibles Thank you, I appreciate that. I also wanted to know about the Jose Uribe error, my set has the error card is it really valuable I have seen EBAY selling for ridiculous prices.
@@abdulwali76 Ignore what you see on Ebay for asking prices. Look at the SOLD listing. I get this question all the time. The DOB error is uncorrected, meaning there is NO other version. This card has no value. Don't take my word for it, though, search those sold listings.
@abdulwali76 sorry I didn't give you good news. There's a lot of bad information out there. This compete set goes for around $15. Shipping cost usually makes it not worth buying. 👍
Ignore what you see on ebay. The missing dot is a scam. Any of the cards in this set can found with a "missing dot after inc". "Asking prices" aren't actual value.
Hello. I'm assuming you're talking about the "A's" in the stat line of his All Star card. The corrected version should say "AL". The error version is EXTREMELY easy to find and worth about a dime. The corrected "AL" version goes for about a buck and change. Check out the eBay sold listings if you want to see for yourself. Hope this helps.
@@disableme1 false ... NONE of the "not dot after inc" cards are worth anything more than the ones with a dot ... dont matter who it is ... none of them have ever sold for any crazy amounts ... Love this video. I’m crazy about the corrected errors to have one of each card. Recently bought a box of both series. Going through and checking what I have. Would love to chat more about this.
The missing period affects (probably) every card in the set. Check out my other video about this very issue. Spoiler alert: no value. Go through a pile of 1991 Donruss and your bound to find many more missing periods. Thanks. ua-cam.com/video/5CxNhDEIytw/v-deo.html
The cards from this era don't have any value. I made a video about the missing dot and the 2 stars. There isn't any value in them as they are extremely common. There are tons of misleading ebay auctions, but if you look at sold listings they aren't valuable. Sorry for the bad news. Hope this is helpful.
Interesting and helpful video but one thing: Mark McGwire was a rookie in 1987, not in 1986 as you stated. In fact, he won the American League "Rookie of the Year" award for 1987 and set a record for MLB home runs by a rookie with 49 ( since broken ) as well as hitting a record at least 30+ home runs in his first 4 seasons ( others have also since done this). His first games were in 1986, but he only had a small amount of late season call up at - bats and did not qualify as a rookie until 1987.
The Mercker "error" is not an error at all. He pitched 4 1/3 innings in 1989 and 48 1/3 innings in 1990. In each of those years, Donruss rounded down to 4 and 48, but when compiling the total, they rounded up to 53.
Hi Brian. Thanks for your comment. You're 100% right. My sources indicated it was an error because it appeared Donruss wasn't adding it correctly. The joke is on us, apparently, because Donruss was rounding. I have no excuses, I'll be more careful next time. Ty.
The Kenny Rogers "error" is not an error at all. He pitched 73 2/3 innings in 1989 (which they rounded up to 74) and 97 2/3 innings in 1990 (which they rounded up to 98). But the total is 171 1/3, which they rounded down to 171.
@@Hungryman97sCollectibles oh no no disappointments here. All to common but still way to cool. I went through my collection of cards and found plenty of cool stuff so valuable or not I came out with more than I put in.
Ok dude, this is the second time you've asked. Lol, ok I'll get it in the works. It'll take some time, as I know there's a TOOOOOOOOON of errors in that set.
Now that I watch this I have to go back to all my cars and I had from 20 to 30,000 cars but I got to try because some of those guys cost quite a bit of money
I'm not looking at my errors right now but I don't remember that error. Unfortunately nothing from the set, errors or whatever, is very valuable. But still a cool card nonetheless.

These were very nostalgic for me too.
I have a question for you. The sets that I have are half green border and half blue border in one set. is this correct or am i possibly missing some cards
Nope, it's normal. Cards 1-386 are blue border, 387-770 are green. They were released in two series that year.

What about the tripple error Nolan Ryan
There isn't a triple error that I know of. I'm guessing you saw that on ebay. You should check out my newest video that talks about that.
I'm guessing there was one for Nolan Ryan I guess there was no. After inc

How much is the Jose Conseco error card worth since it was corrected?

Can you help shed some light on the no period after INC error or variant?
Variant, donruss did this for their 1990 set which has 4
They also did it on the 91.
@@disableme1 Are the variants (no period) worth anything more than the regular?
