- What's up everybody!
In this video I review all the potential water leak points in a Nissan Altima that would cause wet floors/carpet. This is going to be similiar to many other Nissans of various years/models.

If you'd like to remove the wiper cowl on your 5th gen. Altima, I have the removal outlined step by step in this how-to:

- One leak I didn’t touch on in video is the headliner/roof/A-Pillar being wet:

…this would also be a result of something leaking from the sunroof. If the headliner and/or A-Pillar is wet & leaking is coming down the A-Pillar, it’s more than likely the drain-tube(s) outlined in the video, it would just be an issue at the opposite side of the tube…the end at the sunroof itself.
My dude, can't describe how frustrating this has been and how much I spent trying to fix it. Thank you so much let me buy you a beer!
Thank you so much man! I really truly appreciate that!!! Glad i could help 🙌
Dude.. thank you so much for going above and beyond to help others you’re a legend man!!
Appreciate the comment man! 🙏
This is a beautiful video. Thank you so much !! Going to try this out. I’ve been having issues with the floorboards front and back pooling with water, hopefully it works well.
I appreciate the comment! Thank you…good luck with resolving the leaks…let me know what you figure out and find!
Maybe I missed it, I saw where the cabin air filter could be a leak point and how to clean it out but did not hear why or how to fix it.
You essentially just need to stay on top of the cabin air filter maintenance. Don’t prolong its replacement.
Under the cowl the blower motor can be slightly seen. If build up of leaves/debris get in they will find their way to the cabin filter and clog everything up. Best to stay on top of the cabin/air filter & housing…and couldn’t hurt to ensure you don’t get a lot of leaves/debris on your cowl as well.
I just blew mine out with air
Definitely can do that too! I actually did use air on one side to I just didn’t capture it on camera.
