The thing is, people can change their body. People can’t change their face. Almost all of these women fit into the narrow face beauty standard though (large eyes, small nose, and big lips). They aren’t even helping young girls by having models that look more realistic. These companies that hire models like this are just signaling how virtuous they are without helping anyone.
yeah but beauty isn't really subjective. Beautiful people are found beautiful by most people cross culturally. there's a great deal of physical attractiveness standards that are explained by evolution theory. so yeah
@@Kebbab.213 I’d have to disagree with that (to a point). In Greek culture, large noses were viewed as attractive. In the ancient Middle East, small lips were viewed as attractive. In ancient Asia, and obviously current Asia, small eyes were/are viewed as attractive. Many models that we have today would probably be viewed as attractive by most, but those specific facial features aren’t the only attractive ones. I.e. Jenifer Aniston is viewed as beautiful by most people, but it would be hard to find an Instagram model that looks like her because her facial features don’t fit into the strict mold.
@@annafebland4460 Idk, but as a greek I have small eyes and a somewhat big nose. I've received tons of compliments about my appearance, so that may be just a western standard
@@arshgod5713 that's true but if you look at ancient asian artwork the ideal women were painted with narrow eyes, so internationalism may have affected what is seen as attractive. there's also cultures that still do really weird beauty standards like the tribe with the metal rings around the necks of women that make them look like slinkies.

@7:15 I just wanna say like this is lowkey like upsetting because everyone gets stretch marks (men too) and not because people are fat but because they are literally growing. You can get stretchmarks from growing taller or even growing muscles, and of course women get stretchmarks from their hips growing wider or pregnancy tummy growing as well as from gaining muscle or getting taller. so yeah anyone who has stretchmarks, don't feel bad or anything 👍
the difference between "stretch marks" and stretch marks is lost on you. fat people get different kind of stretch marks. nobodies gonna make fun of a pregnant women for getting them. but getting them because you couldnt put down the 5th big mac is different
It shows a lack of education on his part .I get that men don't know all the stuff we go through etc but cmon..as u said, men can get em too..but it's also a sign ur not taking it easy..like u get them from pregnancy cause rhe baby grows fast..but in terms of working out ..should a person take it slow building muscle to prevent them?
I love watching Peanut’s videos they always put a smile on my face. The fact that he is so brutally honest and doesn’t care about getting cancelled is awesome
I mean I wouldn’t say there’s only a “truth” as some people really do find plus sized woman attractive. But I do agree that ppl need to stop promoting obesity as healthy or sexy because not everyone will find it sexy and it’s for sure unhealthy.
As a girl, it makes me sad that plus size models are even a thing. I don’t like how people are like “oh you’re still pretty if you’re BIG!” It’s not true. But you can CHANGE IT! Yes it takes effort, but wouldn’t you rather be pretty than waste your only body?? I CHANGED! I went from 240 to 104!!! YES it takes effort, but I look SO PRETTY AND NORMAL now! Being obese shouldn’t be ok because it’s UNHEALTHY!
And this is to say, all love to everyone. Everyone has feelings and emotions, weight does not change that. We just need to remind ourselves that being unnaturally obese and unhealthy is not good for anyone, praising it is not helping the issue

I agree with him on most of his opinions but why does he only find rating a man based on attractiveness not cool but is ok with harshly rating women . Kinda hypocritical
Because it would be gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that I don't think orangepeanut is comfortable with rating men on attractiveness, since I'm assuming he's not into that
When did he say that?
@@sharkwaffle1582you don’t need to be gay to accept that a man can be attractive or viceversa bruh, for example best Pitt is attractive considering the standards of beauty but I’m not fucking gay

@@annafebland4460 I'm an asian and can say with complete surety that women with big round eyes are considered attractive all across Asia

You can get stretchmarks from growing taller or even growing muscles, and of course women get stretchmarks from their hips growing wider or pregnancy tummy growing as well as from gaining muscle or getting taller. so yeah anyone who has stretchmarks, don't feel bad or anything 👍
yeah most people in the gym love stretchmarks lol i have a few on my biceps and im pretty proud of it
