I have done all the basting by hand. What was I thinking, I don’t mind it , but it will be faster if I glue. So I will try it next time I do some hexagons. Which will be soon, I find it so relaxing. For a while, then I have go to another project for a break from the routine. I like doing hexagons when am T V or setting in a doctor’s office if am stitching them together. Just starting watching and I love it. You are really good at teaching, I can fellow with no problems. 😊
Great job explaining your technique. Your enthusiasm for EPP is contagious!
Ahh, thanks for saying that, Theresa! I’m super happy you’re being blessed by what I share. ❤️
Very clear in your explanations. Thanks
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoy the video. :)
I really appreciate your knowledge on using the glue sticks.....
Glad to help :D
Hi Jayne, i have just been watching your video and it is the first time i have seen someone glue the epp i have taking you up on your download and will give this a try for my first set of hexagons.
Wonderful!
Have you ever worked with the iron on hexies? Your videos are great, you explain everything so clearly. Thank you for that
Not yet! I'm intrigued, though. Glad the videos are helpful.
Very informative. Thanks for this video. ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
Great video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you. Some useful tips!
You’re welcome ❤️
I don't know why I never thought to anchor the hedge with a spot of glue in the middle! I'm always fighting the movement as I press each side in. Thanks for the tip!
Happy to help!
A quarter inch hexies? I certainly would not be attempting that, I can see why you suggested it for the pixelated effect but it sounds like madness to me, it's definitely beyond me. Loved the washable school glue tip, I'll try it as its certainly cheaper ❤
Hahaha. I tried them once. Won’t ever be doing that again. 😆
Hello! I have a question for you: How do you remove the paper pieces after stitching all the hexagons together? I have only ever thread basted them, and generally try not to stitch through the paper when I do that. Is it difficult to pull the papers out with glue basting? Thank you!!
Good question! It's not difficult to take the papers out. You can just peel back the seam allowance to remove the papers.
You are best. Thank you 🙏
Thank you. So nice of you to say so. ❤️ You're very welcome!
Thank you !
You’re welcome!
Does the glue have to be washed out of the completed piece?
Not necessarily but that really depends on the type of glue you are using.
Where do you get the scissor from? And the fabrics? Thank you
I get fabric from my local quilt shop, usually. The scissors are here amzn.to/3eBdBhF
Do I press before or after removing paper...or both?
I usually press both before and after. :D
Thanks for your great video. It has really helped me. I signed up for the hexagon print out. But never got a email from you. I looked in my spam as well, nothing there either. I sent you a email, hoping you could send me the hexagon shapes print out. Thanks for your help in this matter. ❤️❤️❤️
Artie, I sent you an email this morning. Let me know if I can be of more help. 😊
How do you glue baste a rectangle
I would glue baste a rectangle in a similar way. Start on one of the long sides and work your way around the rectangle.

Extremely wordy example. Actual glue up starts at 13:16.
Thanks for your feedback! :D
All the words for helpful for me
