I’m not really a fan on Thor comics BUT the God butcher/ God bomb run by Jason Aaron was entertaining AF. I don’t think the MCU version of Gor will be as brutal as the comic book version though.

What if showed helas helmet was the sword power she had, so I bet gorr finds it after surter killed her, but somehow it gets stronger as he kills other gods and takes their powers.
I have an idea about MCU Gorr and why he's so pissed. I think the snap cause their society to collapse because it took too many vital people and Gorr's family. After five years they became desperate cannibals in a dying dystopia and then suddenly all these people came back to starving savages. So Gorr lived through hell just to see his family come back and be eaten alive. I think that's enough to motivate him into what he becomes and even more brutal than the comics. It would also be one hell of an opening montage.
Gorr tortured a god of torture to death. Fought three version of Thor( past,present, and future) each with their own hammer and won. If recall correctly it took present day Thor dual wielding his and his future selves’ hammer just stand a chance at one point

The Watcher video probably didn't perform well because you already posted a Watcher video on Comics Explained around the same time. Even I was surprised to see another Watcher video. What "liberties" do y'all see Feigi taking with Gorr? Since he's a relatively newish character, who beyond Thor do you think this guy could end up being a problem for? The Eternals maybe?

The Gorr storyline is so badass and savage. I hope they don’t alter it too much. This is one of the slam dunks they have laying in their lap. Don’t mess with it just dunk it lol
Gorr was probably at his most powerful when he made himself into the universe to fight Thor and Thor more or less had to kill the dying universe to remove Gorr from it. Otherwise Gorr did get KOed by young Thor's lightning in their first fight (or at least fled from it allowing Thor to recover before he instantly beats Thor in round 2), then he was losing to the team of Thors in the future until he ordered the deaths of the enslaved gods for a power-bump and after losing the sword got decapitated by young Thor. He was definitely in the realm of sporting Thorforce Thor to Elder God power for a lot of his appearances before his retirement at the end of time.
This may be a niche series that won’t get mainstream attention, but please know, for whatever it’s worth, those of us who enjoy it, really so enjoy it. :D
Im actually pretty surprised that a thor villian other than loki could be more than 1 dimensional. I can say this video makes me excited for an mcu villian
Nothing to do with the video, but as I eat my breakfast I am thinking, it'd be awesome if we had a good Thanos. Like with this multiverse stuff going on, a version of Thanos exists who is good. And they turn that awesome, funny and silly thing from the What if? episode in to a really epic story of redemption. And our reward for all of this? Glamour Nebula.

He’s gonna lose in under 2 hours and his sword will become a plot point in 25 years when they get to Knull.
As for liberties they might cut out the actual god worshiping aspect of his character since that asks too many questions like could Gorr beat Jesus.
