I like that they talked about Bast being from Egyptian mythology. I knew about that goddess being of real world Egyptian mythology so I wondered how she had come to be worshipped further south.
Because she was casted out by the Ennead. Idk if you watched the new Mooknight but you could see they imprisoned or casted out a lot of other Egyptian gods. Bast basically made her own country(Wakanda) and started her own religion(The Black Panther). Also we will get to see her in the Thor love& thunder movie coming up cuz it’s leading up to Black Panther 2
A lot of the Egyptian gods were borrowed from Ancient Kush. Much of East Africa was has similar culture to ancient Egypt.
I never knew how this went down so this explains a bit of stuff

The shield's valued for its indestructability. If neutering Vibranium only takes away its BS energy absorption ability, I guess it wont be affected.
The shield is also adamantium so I think it'd be fine, durability-wise.

I really love this part of Black Panther’s story, i hope we see it one day in the MCU, hoping that Nakia is revealed pregnant in BP2 & we finally get to see a fleshed out “Son of T’Challa” as opposed to a What If/Alternate Universe scenario

More seriously though, you really should do some more digging into this fandom, there's a lot of fun to be had learning about comics, and it makes those matchups you're suggesting look really, ridiculously silly. I'd be interested in seeing your suggested Loki/Quicksilver fight - not because it's a particularly balanced match-up but it would just be fun to watch how they make it work.
Also given the popularity of Batman vs. Superman fights, mistmatches in comic book battles aren't necessarily a bad thing, if you can play the right elements up for the underdog.

I had not read this, after reading Time Runs Out it also really gives a clearer picture of Reed and T'Challa together on that lifeboat and throughout Secret Wars really.

Vibranium has been back to where it’s started for a while now.

I would love to hear more about the story of Wakanda versus Atlantis I’m hearing that’s what will be taking place in the black panther 2 movie.
So glad I watched this. I just thought of another way T’Challa could return to the MCU.
Imagine if Wakanda Forever reimagined this concept in a post credit scene, but instead of Bast making T’Challa “King of the dead”, she warns him of an impending “secret war” and grants him reincarnation as the world will need T’Challa to face this threat.

I love your content. But,I hate when you play down characters. T'Challa is one of the most smartest people in Marvel. And,he would definitely be top three if he didn't have the responsibilities of being a monarch. Not taking anything away from Reed Richards. But, when he's not being Mister Fantastic. He's a scientist. When the panther gets done. He has to be a king and all the things that come with that. You never mentioned that. @comicsexplained

I’m hoping Marvel will go the complete opposite of the way they lead us and actually in a way use this King of the dead storyline to creatively recast Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa in an honorable way in Black Panther 2 and make us think he is dead but he is not dead and comes back Avengers Endgame style in the third act or 4th quarter of the film played by the man who played the Black Panther before Chadwick Boseman, Wesley Snipes. How awesome do y’all think that would be? I’d personally love it!
Chadwick Boseman was taken too soon, but he will always be black panther in our hearts, and in our minds, wakanda forever indeed!

Technically he became a Necroscope like Harry Keogh in the Necroscope series by Brian Lumley. Seriously look up that series it’s great.
Harry can talk to the dead, raise the dead, learn from the dead and open portals in time and space using a Mobius loop, which he learned from Morbius. He also fights some HP Lovecraft type vampires.

Wait, if the Panther God knew of what was to come. Then I would assume that most if not all Gods knew what would come. Wouldn’t that mean Thor and Loki would know as well? Or even Odin?
Thor, Loki, and Odin aren’t “gods” in the usual sense. They don’t get strength through worship and they are mortal, just really long lived. So assumably they don’t have the same godly knowledge actual gods have

They are treated like gods and act like gods but they don’t get MANY of the benefits other gods get so it’s completely understandable that they wouldn’t know things other gods know.
@@robb1914 While being a God doesn’t mean they are omnipotent/omniscient, Jason Aaron’s Thor God of Thunder explained that Thor can derive power from worship, hear/respond to prayers and the like. Not EVERY benefit you could associate with Godhood but a good deal of them.
