I own a B8.5 allroad (2014). I bought it to replace my high mileage 1991 200 20v avant when I had my second child (200s odometer broke at 265k miles but it has an assumed 420/430k now). While it is vastly different than the 200 it’s a great ride. Truthfully, it’s been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Currently at just about 142k it has had ZERO problems (besides cv boots/axles and a wheel bearing because I drive it on lots of back roads and have hit a turkey, a porcupine, 2 foxes and jumped a fallen tree limb…yeah I know..). I have done nothing except basic maintenance over the years. We really enjoy it and (excluding insurance) has cost less to maintain and own than my wife’s Toyota Highlander which has currently 48k less miles. So glad I bought an allroad!
