- In this episode of The Complete Picture, Julieanne Kost demonstrates how to take multiple exposures and combine them into a single 32-bit HDR file that can then be edited nondestructively using Adobe Camera Raw as a Smart Filter in Photoshop. In addition, you'll discover how powerful using Camera Raw as a Smart Filter can be when working with layered files.

A lot of potential with these concepts, thanks Julieanne
Excellent Demonstration! Thank you Julieanne! :-)
Thanks Juileanne I needed that! Keep the tips coming!
This will make the work flow a lot more simplified.
Love. Love.Love
Thanks, Julianne. I was wondering what can be done when images are taken from a place full of tourists. I took shots of a building in a touristic site at different exposures to build an HDR image; however, the amount of people was huge. Would you first process each image to remove the subjects and then do HDR or do HDR and then remove the subjects? I tried superimposing the photos to remove subjects with mask and brush, but this doesn't work, since I end up having blotches of different exposures in the end. Perhaps you have a video showing an example such as this? Thanks!
Why does using Merge to HDR Pro yield a different result to CTRL selecting the same 3 raw files opening them as Camera Raw selecting the 3 thumbnails and using merge to HDR?
How would you open the RAW files as a stack in CS5? There's no right-click option, it just opens them all as individual single files in photoshop.
is photoshop cc a newer version of CS6?
yes. It is a subscription model of Photoshop which means that you pay monthly for it instead of paying for it every time there's a new version.
I work the photoshop cc and photoshop lightroom 5
I love Photoshop Photography Program
