    Shouldn't you really work with layers when doing a tutorial like this? I know this was a quick and easy fix, but as layers are kind of needed if you wanna do something more advanced and if you wanna do it in a non destructive way. Just my opinion, but I think doing it properly even for an easy tutorial is good practice for people not used to Photoshop.

    On two of the guys, when you deleted the name tags, it looks like their chest is fused with part of their arm. What would you do about that?

    That actually works fairly well! I had a picture of a farmhouse with a nice tree, beautiful landscape. One flaw, however; there was something (a boat most likely) covered up with a blue tarp. It just didn't fit well into the picture. So, I used this technique on the picture and effectively erased the tarp covered object! Very cool... :^)

    a pretty destructive way to do it

    • @SogMosee
      @SogMosee 10 років тому

      how would you do it?

    • @wapwagon
      @wapwagon 10 років тому

      SogMosee Not by using content aware and the spot healing brush as carelessly as he did. Instead, clone details like the flap on his jacket, or the shadow of where his chest and arm sleeve meet until all you have left are pixels that are of similar values. Once you have just a small patch on the jacket that isn't covering any details (creases, or drastic contrasting color/lighting) then use the content aware to fix the large areas of similar texture/color. He did such a shitty job in this tutorial.

    I'm working on an essay and I need to use a picture that I took in a gay night club. I'm trying to edit the image so that the name of the club is brighter and it's such a pain in the ass to find the settings! Gah

    this is a horrible tutorial. It doesn't look natural or consistent at all, and why he chose to give himself such a heavy fake tan look is a mystery to me.

      The guy at the far left, look at the the edited area where the identification card was...it looks hideous! Adobe, really?
