Adam Plays a BJJ Belt Promotion Prank on Chewy

- Before Chad left. He and Adam played a bit of a prank on me.
Adam, who usually doesn't say all that much went on a long speech and well. . . you'll see.
Basically Adam promotes one of the guys to Brown Belt and then afterwards gives a guy some stripes on his very 1st day.
I thought this was just a funny short video to share with you guys.
As I've said time and time again. Our BJJ gym is a little different. And while we practice Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and all that stuff.
One side of the gym that makes it extra special is the fun we have with each other.

where I train, I forgot my white belt one day and the guy at the desk tried to prank me by loaning me a brown belt and telling me it'd be fine. I knew better.
Hah.. You can see all the emotions coming out of Chewy. "Okay, wtf is going on here? Hah, good joke guys. Wait could this be a real thing? Okay, don't lose it, it could still be a joke. Adam isn't going to be able to do jazz hands for a while after I 'talk' to him later"
Should have promoted the white belt to blue.

Hang on! I need the rest of the story. What happened to the purple belt that got the brown belt? Please tell me he was in on the act? Please tell me you did not play with the poor guys emotions? Imagine getting a brown belt and being so happy only to find out you were a guinea pig in a prank. Chewy please confirm. As for the white belt getting a stripe I heard white belts are not really humans and have no feelings so thats ok.

The new guy who got the stripe took it all in fun. He's been with us for about 3 months now.

@@anonoumos I've seen people getting a stripe for paying for a seminar after going for 2 weeks... Made my own hard work for a stripe seem a bit of a non-achievement

These guys getting their promotion (first guy his brown belt and second a stripe for his white belt) are apparently students of chewy and he should be the one deciding if they are ready and actually be the one putting it around their waist.

Adam promoted people without my knowledge and 2 of them were not up for promotion. He trolled me really well.

Joe was the coach that day during the fundamentals class. He was the brown belt. He said, "that's not typical."
