  • With hundreds of bird species found throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, we are fortunate to have several birding organizations dedicated to appreciating and conserving the birds here. In the second part of SFBBO's Birding the Bay Area series, Matthew Dodder, Executive Director of Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (scvas.org), shares a few favorite birding hotspots in Santa Clara County, including Santa Teresa County Park, Coyote Valley, Joseph D. Grant County Park, Smith Creek Fire Station, and San Antonio Valley.
