Hello Andy. My name is Richard Gwinn, I am totally blind and I have been listening to you for several months now and I have learned a ton. Have been learning Layla, like the way you teach, tabs and views don’t mean a thing to me, I am TOTALLY BLIND. The way you teach makes a lot of since to me, of course I have to replay parts over and over until I get it but when I finally get it it sticks with me really well. I am 64 years old and have been playing the old Martin since I was 12 years old. Never have been a really good picker just average, sure like what your doing if I had plenty dough I sure would send you a bit. I probably will send a little soon because I appreciate what you are doing, thank you very much. Keep up the good work.
This is incredible
Awesome comment thanks Rick
How did you write the message if you’re blind
@@AbelThekid851 hello Andy this is Richard here I am totally blind and I use voiceover on my iPad and my iPhone and right now I’m using my iPod but I also have an iPhone how do use voiceover to send all messages sometimes I use my Bluetooth keyboard to type in a message the message I sent earlier was sent in on a Bluetooth keyboard and that’s the way I do it, I used Broun when I went to school and her school for Yvonne and I also went to university of Alabama how do you say Broun I need to print typewriter to print up all my all my papers and things that I had to do wasn’t easy but I managed to get it done thank you very much talk to you later
@@AbelThekid851 hello this is Richard Gwinn the last message I said that I used braille, when I was in university, and it came out of Broun, so that is wrong, I’m using dictation to send this message, so it may sound kind of strange, I’m just straightening out the misinterpretation of the word brow brow is nothing like Broun, ha ha have a nice day
Proud to have been part of the 20% subbed for the past couple years. Your tutorials are always the best
Thanks bud! Cheers, Andy
I also am proud to have been subbed for a long time. Probably since around 2014 or 2015.
Same...prob since 2016 I think.
Today - since he asked.
It is nothing short of a crime, that you don’t have more subscribers. I’ve been watching guitar tutorials for over 7 years. You are easily the best, in my opinion. Your production, to your instruction, everything is perfect. All that, and humble enough, to never show your face. Thank you so much for everything you provide, and please keep up the great work.
Totally agree Michael!
Hands down, the best guitar teacher here on UA-cam. Always on point with the original tracks, clear video and sound, along with a calm apporoach to intermediate guitar lessons which are so effective!
Just like so many other people here, I find Your skill, easy demeanour, quality of sound and catalogue so valuable. You have made me become a better musician so be THANKYOU
I’ve gone back to this because I need to play it with friends this weekend. My friend, you are nothing short of sublime - I hope you are getting well.
I’ve been a subscriber since I found your channel a few years ago. One of the best (and most accurate) song tutorial channels on UA-cam. Thanks much!
Here is the best compliment I can pay you. I'm probably the only person on earth that never really liked this song, but after watching you, I'm going to spend the rest of the day learning this song. That was outstanding!
Transforming my approach to guitar, getting back into it after some years. you've helped me bridge some knowledge. Seeing you play and explain the way you do, penny dropped for me last night, around scales and roots and chords, its like all this knowledge was there but not practically accessible, i think what happened is you bridged the practical aspect, you have a real knack for teaching guitar and playing it obviously! KUDOS. I can now bust out Layla!!
Absolutely brilliant playing
As you say in the companion vid to this one, the "phrasing" is really what makes this version pop. Makes me so aware of how muddy my sound is and helps me move forward. Thanks for another first class lesson.
i LOVE how you just start off with the song !!!
You have inspired me to play again , love all your music selections .
The absolute best person out there to help you learn. Period!
Wow! By far the most accurate and detailed guitar tutorial on YT.
My God! You're amazing both playing and explaining.
You're always so clear and easy to follow, even when I think that I have been playing something well or correctly. Love your approach. I enjoy following the theory.
Your lessons are really great. I am a subscriber already, I subscribed because after watching another lesson I did not want to miss out on your extremely accurate transcriptions of these classics. There are a whole lot of people out there who maybe saw a few chords and think they have it but they usually don't. You clearly put a lot of work into getting the essence of the arrangements down before you make a video. Appreciated.
You do a great job teaching and playing. Love your style.
You always make me feel I can play it. That's truly a wonderful way of bringing music to my life! Thank you for that.
Maybe pushing it with this request, but ' she moved through the fair ' van Morrison and the Chieftains, mystical melancholic song including that perfectly Irish (air) intro.
You are the best instructor on the web, my friend! You are the complete package. Wish I could support you more that I have.
Always a pleasure Andy... Been subscribed for a couple/three years now... Love the technique, the songs, the lesson... Thanks so much!!!
Always thorough Andy. Thank you for your fretboard insight. Please keep us inspired. Love the history lesson tidbits too.
Top lesson as per usual Andy.
I’ll give it a go but to be honest I like listening to you play. Cheers
Thank you, I’ve wanted to learn this one for a long while now
Thanks! I've subbed for years. I've been playing 40+ years and I don't read music, I use the Nashville system. I always get a little something from your videos. I like that they are not aimed at real beginners, I have a hard time watching that type. Great job!!
You are a great guitar teacher! Love this lesson!
Andy, Absolutely brilliant instruction, clear concise and expert demonstration 🤘😎
Top notch playing! Respect all the way from iceland!
Love this. Was trying to learn it since last week. This came at the right time to help me out. Thanks.
great song excellently taught. Thanks
Thanks, Andy, For All That You Do.
Brilliant!
You do make us want to pick the guitar, ,and try again .....thank you !
I'm subscribed to your channel Andy. I have only learned one of your tutorials so far and I donated to the cause (only a small amount because of my then financial position).
I think your channel is the best! For someone who is as talented as you, you are so humble and I love that. Your tutorials are so accurate and your attitude (that is, not asking for subscriptions and 'pay if you can afford' thing) is admirable. I could not have learned that song (Landslide) if not for your tutorial and I am so grateful to you for giving me the capability
Another amazing lesson ! Thanks so much.
You are the only site I recommend to other guitarists. So many excellent works and I only listen to the acoustic side. 🤙🙏
Thank you for excellent tuition
Perfectly brilliant!
You are an AMAZING guitarist sir
You are a great teacher, thank you for this lesson😊

Stunning
first time watcher. Very Good tutorial... and very good playing, enjoyed watching.
So accurate and awsome🎸🎵👍
Great, a start that plays the song and no blah blah until it's needed.
That is a damn solid acoustic sound.
The best out there
This is so cool
Thank you so much for this!
Show me a better YT guitar teacher, because this guy is stellar. There are some other ones on here that aren’t bad, but I feel nobody compares to this guy.
Yes fully agree this guy is the MAN,....brilliant player oh how I would love to be able to play like him...he is fabulous gifted and he explains it so simple but alas I will never be anywhere as good as this MAN...he just is Simply the Best...!!!!👍👍👍👍👍🍀
F-ing awesome! Found your channel today and subbed.
Hey Andy, I've been playing for a couple years but I'm just now jumping into solos, I appreciate what alot of people do on demos here but I find yours to be most helpful. Some people waste ALOT of time like they're teaching someone who just picked up a guitar, which I'm sure is very useful for beginners. I just find yours to be cutting right to the point. I would love to hear and see some Beatles, some of their rhythms are just nuts....anyhoo I really appreciate what you're doing, keep it up bro
Proud subscriber for most of the six years
Very impressive, thanks for sharing your video with us.
I’m a fan thx 👍👍👍👍
your articulation is extraordinary
Good stuff! 💙
Wow! (as always) 🥰
Well done sir
Great video, thanks! The palm muting is an important part of the sound, especially for the intro.
Your playing is smoooth dude 👌👌
Great lesson! My favourite channel, the best you can get on UA-cam!
Any other songs from Eric's Unplugged album would be great, if anything, maybe Circus please :)
great Sir .. finally you released Layla.
great content!
La clase es Magistral... absolutamente 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏 Gracias Totales
Outstanding as always Andy, thank you! Long time subscriber here :-)
Thanks bud! Cheers, Andy

Very nice!
Great video, cranks for posting, I subscibed
I began following you just because you've never asked for that before👍🏽
Love what your doing love my new t as well!
I subscribed first video Dude you're awesome.
Just subscribed and have been loving your videos. Please do more Eric Clapton. I haven’t found it yet if you’ve already done a video on it, but Old Love on the unplugged album is a song I’ve always wanted to learn!
BIG THANKYOU :E
Smashed it my friend 👍✌️
Love ole slow hand.
I have been very lazy with guitar, I've learned basics and improved my skills to a point where I was very comfortable with playing most chords at any rate and had a very comfortable movement all over the neck. Its been 11ish years and I don't know any songs besides a few parts in a handful. This is the type of videos that might get me to learn because it is very easy to follow and understand at my level. I honestly just been doing random chords with different strumming and just trying to random notes in a pentatonic scale and trying to try new things to be able to do simple solos.
Great song to play on a acoustic guitar while singing
Excellent video, just like all the rest of your videos. I've been a sub for a while and love your tutorials and thank you so much for making them available to one and all. I was going through the vids on your channel and noticed no Steely Dan and was wondering if you would be open to doing some tutorials on them. They're a difficult group to figure out and very hard to find accurate tabs on them. If you ever do please consider doing a tutorial on 'Caves of Altamira', a great song and almost impossible to find much on it on the web. Big fan, keep up the good work and thanks again.
Hey Buddy, love your lessons, you are awesome and have helped me learn quite a few things. Just gave you a thumbs up and a subscription. Cheers, keep them coming. We really appreciate you.
Thanks Steve. I put a huge amount of time and effort into making these videos. I like to keep them free for those that can't afford it, but if you can, please support what I do. Cheers, Andy www.shutupandplay.ca/donate.html
Might have to donate more money to the site for these kick ass lessons.
Heck yeah love jt
Oh my god YES 😍
Super!!!
Geez what can't he play? Incredible.
