What range do you think is responsible to use this over? I assume it shows as crow flies so walk around obstacles to reach destination? Does it let you know you have arrived?

Hi Henri, I was wondering: while you perform a so called "mission", does the watch needs to keep connected with your phone the whole time or only at the beginning and at the end?
No, this watch won't show your pace. It is not like those garmin running smartwatches that show lots of analytical data. But Casio could actually add that (pace) through a future update since it is just a simple algorithm data and hence useful.
I have only experienced that when I haven't taken the phone with me, which practically means no data connection while running the mission log. Otherwise it should work, make sure your location on your mobile is turned on and not restricted, especially for the g-shock app.
I guess the phone also needs a phone signal to triangulate your position between two points travelled especially if walking in a remote area like a forest?
You are correct. However, altitude data will be recorded even if the phone shows zero signal, because of the built-in altimeter sensor on the watch. The GPS track depends only on the phone's network.
Thanks for the video. That’s why I will get the GWG-1000. I think 🤔 solar power is much more important. That activity needs a mobile and I can use my mobile or Apple Watch to do so.
solar is a gimmick, once you deplete the rechargeable battery youll be paying 3 times more to change and youll just bin the watch. Plus the GWG is gurgantuan in size and heavier.

Is this still working if i leave my phone at home while i head for a run with just the watch at wrist ?
Sorry, I forgot...where can I see the battery level of the watch? Thank you for the video...!

hi, awesome video. about the compass, if i dont press the button after 3 minutes, will it go to normal function (not showing direction)??
Hi Henri, I was wondering: while you perform a so called "mission", does the watch needs to keep connected with your phone the whole time or only at the beginning and at the end?
Yeah, GPS information needs to be updated and refreshed, hence needs to be kept connected.

Then why not just use the phone???
@@pedrofussell5402 Because the app on its own cannot collect the data
What happens if no mobile service available can you still perform tracking?
For the Mission Log, internet is required, so without it the watch will read error.
I believe it works without 4g. Gps needs to be on
That’s why it’s useless
@@Romio666then pay the extra bucks and buy a fully stand alone gps watch...
Is the six minutes to give you time to get there?
Does this watch measure your mile time on your phone for running ?

My app doesn't show the map only shows altitude Why is that so? And how to set it up?
This is a high end watch?

Do you havee any idea why I cant see a map in my activity log? Its really frustrating.

@@PsyssoWrong. Just wearing the watch daily will charge it because its wearer will be in some type of light. No maintenance.

Good...
.4 kilometers is 400 meters… 🤔
