    Amazing in a few minutes what you can learn from a guy who knows what does he doing, amazing 1,2 combos looks easy but takes a lot of discipline and practice thank you for posting!

    Now a 74 year-old new comer. Best video I’ve watched. You have my attention. I was 5 when my father taught my older brother and me to “Put up your dukes.” I have subscribed and will check out all your videos. Thank you.

    This is a great video. I watch so many boxing technique videos and this one really stands out. You explain things super clearly. And then you execute perfectly yourself and that backs it all up!

      I agree. This is one of the few good ones. I also ran across one called fighters domain. I think that's the name of the channel but the vids are short and to the point and the guy knows his stuff.

    Just started some group boxing classes where we train with other people, and had a bag set in my basement but didn't really know what to do with it all by myself. Now I do, very useful video, thanks!

    Use the smaller bag to focus you're foot work and distance. This guy has a valid point for new people. Also you can also weight the bag.

    Loving your videos man. I train with a heavy bag at the gym, and refer to the YT training videos for ideas. This is the first time I have come across your videos, and I am glad I did. Will be following your videos regularly now, please keep them coming!

    • @fg4_josh
      @fg4_josh 7 років тому +2

      andrew lopez its because he's winding up to much. Jabs are supposed to just be used for range.

    • @TannerWilliam07
      @TannerWilliam07 5 років тому

      A "power jab" defeats the purpose, Ali's power jabs worked because he was circling his opponents, the power jab wasn't the point, it was to taunt his opponents into diving into Ali's counter cross
      This guy throwing power jabs in a rhythm means someone can time him to throw a powerful knock-out hook. I myself will eat jabs to throw a hook

    • @justiceforsethrichwwg1wga160
      @justiceforsethrichwwg1wga160 5 років тому +4

      That’s what the heavy bag is for though. You’re supposed to hit it as hard as you can. Builds power.

    • @TannerWilliam07
      @TannerWilliam07 5 років тому +2

      Yes, bags =/= bouts
      If you're aim to increase the power of your jabs, hit the bag harder

    I agree. I got a gym membership a few months ago and I've built my cardio enough to begin working their heavy bag. The basics tutorial and this video combined have been very instructional and extremely valuable to me. Thank you.
    I will definitely be watching your others. I won't confuse myself too much just yet though. Baby steps. I'll take it 1 or 2 tutes at a time and work up from there. BTW I'm doing this for balance, core/upper body strength/technique/personal goals. I won't be fighting. =)
