Thank you for also speaking in Chinese while explaining, 所以我可以进步我的听力,谢谢你,我希望人多知道你。
我希望更多人能知道你
@@brandodio5064 谢谢您
In mainland I have also heard 卖萌 (selling adorable) to mean something like 撒娇. It’s used especially when someone is acting cute to try and get someone to do something, it seems.
这个视频帮忙我。辛苦了!谢谢,Gracie! 你真棒!
thank you for uploading this topic 谢谢Grace姐姐,辛苦了!
老師!真是辛苦妳了!真的, 這個影片很有用。謝謝
I really like that you're speaking more mandarin in the intro and outro 😄 thanks so much for all the great videos, your channel is so much more watchable than a lot of more formal language stuff
老师您辛苦了! 我从巴基斯坦看你的课!真的很好!👍🏻
I just watched some of your videos and I think your channel is so underrated.
You are amazing!
All your lessons are so well explained, 辛苦你了!
Lol I am Chinese and I watch this to learn English. Btw sometimes I don't know how to explain Chinese words to foreigner.
Hi. Im starting to enjoy learning Chinese, thanks to you. ☺️ I also like the way you speak, its sounds natural and not robotic. Looking forward to your next videos. ❤️
有緣分與GRACE等於幸福✌️
Never knew I needed Grace aegyo in a Chinese video 😂
The phrase 緣份 can be split up as 2 separate things:緣and份,where 份is 身份social status. This term 緣 has Buddhist origin . When a couple split up it is 有緣無份. They have fate to get to know each other but not last to the end with martial status.
Thanks for making video. 辛苦了
Grace,
謝謝你。你幫忙我很多,辛苦你了
你可以试着简体字
谢谢你!辛苦你了💚💚
谢谢老师!我喜欢你
Thank you so much! Can you make a video recommending or rating chinese tv shows/series/movies in general like the quality, the simplicity of the language they use and how commonly used the slang is. Also talking about music too!! Immersion is important and media is my only way
thanks. i see this words a lot. i had no idea
Hi Grace, nice video as always. Can be also interesting if you can add the name of the movies you use inside your video
太有緣分了 it must be love
Great video! A lot of things are lost in translation so it's important to learn another language. I was teaching my students the word "厉害" (li hai) and failing to come up with an accurate translation. maybe "impressively/intimidatingly good"?
我建議做個視頻:推薦台灣好多人用的app或什麼的,謝謝。
谢谢 🥰
Thankyou so much😊😊😊😍🤗🤗
Lovely as always!
U are so gd in Chinese! I'm Chinese Singaporean, pls do some daily life vlog too
你的视频老是非常有用的,辛苦你了
很高興你喜歡!(很高兴你喜欢!)😄
Your 撒娇 example is so funny, love it 😆. I have to watch 'women who flirt' 哈哈
Amazing Grace ;) يا عيوني 辛苦了!
As a Japanese, I have hard time explaining what 尴尬 is in Japanese, although I use this word a lot. On the other hand, we have words that explains 辛苦, 撒娇, and 缘分.
Do you guys know some movies with both english and chinese subtitles? Like the one used in the video
Love your channel. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
老是辛苦了!some other video ideas: usage of 把 and 被, giving directions, how to call your chinese in-laws, ordering food
K cold I meant “always” but I liked how it overlaps with teacher 👩🏻🏫
Diogo Souza when using 老是, the speaker generally expresses a negative idea, for example, 你老是这样不顾别人感受,you are always not considering others’ feelings. To express always in a positive way, you could use 总是, i.e. 她总是这么努力,she’s always so diligent.
Great job!
,......GRACE YOU'RE THE BEST !! ......
YOUR METHODS ARE
ARE DIFFERENT BUT
CLEARER. ALSO YOU'RE
VERY ATTRACTIVE & VERY GORGEOUS !!
哎呦!看到了天台电影一段部分啦 哈哈哈 ~ 谢谢for the explanation,辛苦你啦😆😆😆 安静的看你撒娇 can we say like pampered?
We don’t usually say that 😂
Grace Mandarin Chinese LOL 😂 it’s actually a lyrics from 开不了口
老师辛苦啦
Is the phrase 辛苦了 something that sounds formal, like a boss would typically say to employees? Or if your close friend cooks a big meal, and you want to show appreciation, would it sound natural to say there? Or perhaps to thank a teacher for preparing a very thorough lesson? Thank you so much😊
In my experience, it seems like most people use it with most people. It's like 謝謝你的努力 "thank you for working hard", so if your boss did something nice you could use it as a polite thank you. If your friend cooked yoy a nice meal its also a nice way to express thanks. My friends even use it for shop workers, for example at New Years when they're very busy but still find time to help you, you can say it, like a 喔我現在知道你很累很忙 "I know lately you're really busy" kind of thing 🙂
Oh my goodness! I saw part of that movie! Finally I know its name! Haha!
或許是因為同屬漢字文化圈的關係吧?這幾個至少在東亞各國(日本和韓國)都有可以完全對應的詞彙欸!我想歐洲各國(除了英國之外)很多人都能至少「精通」1到2個其他相近語系的語言,有很大一部分的原因就是因為這樣吧?否則即使因為是鄰國和學校的教育,如果是不同語系且背後文化差異極大的兩種語言,大部分人應該頂多能簡單溝通而已。
Hi Grace👋 Could u do the second part about the video about the diferet accents in Mandarin Chinese? I think is a very interesting topic and I would like to know more:)
Hi! Thank you for the suggestion! :)
Grace Mandarin Chinese No, thank YOU for the nice and helpful videos :)
This is brilliant for people in China with VPNs, they paid a lot of money for those, I don't know how much
我最喜歡的中文字是「回魂酒」🤣
나두 중국어 잘하고 싶다구!
Wow
多谢Grace,我们爱你。 辛苦你了!
努力 can also mean "work hard" or "put in a lot of effort". Is there an occasion when 努力 can be replaced by 辛苦 and vice-versa?
Nah. 辛苦 is often used to describe the work someone is dealing with is rough, so you can say 你的工作好辛苦 (your job is so rough). I don't think you can replace 努力 and 辛苦 in any occasion, they are different meanings. :)
@@ycchung 谢谢你!
@@zandthedruid 不客氣 :)
Grace,你辛苦了。
😄😄
I have a question. Why the pinyin of 有 is you instead of yeo?
Ni hao. May i ask why yi fang wan yi means just in case. Xie xie
辛苦不辛苦的,反正看了這只影片就是緣分!
在大陆叔叔发的音是shū诶
Here I am again 😁
缘分 fate karma kismet; common destiny
Wow! If you keep making videos like this, you will be very successful. The effort really shows.
I thought the movie at 4:40 was going to be kids in the bodies of adults XD I didn't know there was a word to describe sa jiao XD
😂😂
5:33 this reminds me of Wei wu xian 🙊🤣
Hi Grace!
I just started youtube channel on teaching mandarin Chinese and was searching how other online teacher is teaching!
And youtube suggested your channel and I watched one of your videos and by now I think I have watched most of your videos that realised your teaching skills are so awesome that learner must love you ^^
I had experience in offline teaching but got zero experience in online teaching!
Thanks Grace that I have learned a lot from you!
COVID-19 nowadays is so severe that take a good care dear!
Good day ahead !!
hey I love your channel. all the videos are very interesting and useful. just one suggestion, is it possible that in the future we can donate using something other than PayPal? I hate it and it forces me to give them a lot of personal information like my ID number or cellphone and whatever just to donate which makes no sense and feels like an abuse. Just a suggestion. Thanks.
martín Hi Martín! I’m glad you enjoyed my videos:) Except for PayPal, I don’t know any other ones. Do you have any suggestions?
@@GraceMandarinChinese I donated to lichess using stripe(dot com), I bought study content using Gumroad(dot com), any of those is fine I think but I'm sure there are other options
Im rly exited, why u use old versions of 汉字?when everywhere teach the simplified version? Even when u answering the comments?!
I'm from Taiwan and in Taiwan we use traditional characters in daily life :)
Grace Mandarin Chinese ou, sry, i rly didnt know that.
Love your Videos, I'm creating a new language that was inspired in Chinese it's called Maygir,Anyways Keep Going!
Ahh... 撒嬌, in korean it’s call Aegyo.
In 6:46, what Chinese words translate to "always"? Because I think you forgot to type it.
Is 老是 (Laoshi)
@@fabrizioristagno663 but lao shi means teacher isn't it
@@jovan.samuel The word for teacher have different tone and characters, is 老师
Oh yeaa, I didn't notice that, I also just know it means always. Thanks.
终于见到一个中国人了
請問,按照您的解釋,好像『撒嬌』大多有負面涵義。但是聽人家講,好像也有正面的意思,一點像『cuddle』或『snuggle』的意思?比如,我常常聽到這樣子的句子:『哇,你的狗很喜歡撒嬌』,就是狗喜歡被撫摸的意思。
Here's an example with all 3 in one sentence:
有時男生會以為跟某女生有緣分,可實際上那位女生只不過是很辛苦的跟他撒嬌,才能騙這位男的覺得她對他有意思。要強調一下,這例子不是從親生經驗拿出來的 😅
😂😂 聽起來是個悲傷的故事
@@GraceMandarinChinese 其實我還不知道誰才是受害者,男方還是女方🤔 因為演成那樣的女生真的很辛苦,也一毛錢沒收到
Peter Stebbins 有道理哈哈
@@GraceMandarinChinese 好像結論就是,心機和演技只有一線之隔(或者說只有一“幾/技”之隔😬
I can't read the examples they are not clear
Grace is TAIWANese??
三头六臂 is another one isnt it?
Is a 13 -year-old still able to master chinese? Please answer
Just want to say that you're beautiful❤
Ah... the way I hate aegyo :D
Oh baby don’t stop. Will you have my baby ? Boy only. Girl can abort or give up for adoption.
