    The phrase 緣份 can be split up as 2 separate things:緣and份,where 份is 身份social status. This term 緣 has Buddhist origin . When a couple split up it is 有緣無份. They have fate to get to know each other but not last to the end with martial status.
    Thanks for making video. 辛苦了

    Great video! A lot of things are lost in translation so it's important to learn another language. I was teaching my students the word "厉害" (li hai) and failing to come up with an accurate translation. maybe "impressively/intimidatingly good"?

      Diogo Souza when using 老是, the speaker generally expresses a negative idea, for example, 你老是这样不顾别人感受,you are always not considering others’ feelings. To express always in a positive way, you could use 总是, i.e. 她总是这么努力,she’s always so diligent.

    Is the phrase 辛苦了 something that sounds formal, like a boss would typically say to employees? Or if your close friend cooks a big meal, and you want to show appreciation, would it sound natural to say there? Or perhaps to thank a teacher for preparing a very thorough lesson? Thank you so much😊

    • @glass-yuzu
      @glass-yuzu 3 роки тому +2

      In my experience, it seems like most people use it with most people. It's like 謝謝你的努力 "thank you for working hard", so if your boss did something nice you could use it as a polite thank you. If your friend cooked yoy a nice meal its also a nice way to express thanks. My friends even use it for shop workers, for example at New Years when they're very busy but still find time to help you, you can say it, like a 喔我現在知道你很累很忙 "I know lately you're really busy" kind of thing 🙂

    或許是因為同屬漢字文化圈的關係吧?這幾個至少在東亞各國(日本和韓國)都有可以完全對應的詞彙欸!我想歐洲各國(除了英國之外)很多人都能至少「精通」1到2個其他相近語系的語言,有很大一部分的原因就是因為這樣吧?否則即使因為是鄰國和學校的教育,如果是不同語系且背後文化差異極大的兩種語言,大部分人應該頂多能簡單溝通而已。
