    I really like that you use pinyin, traditional characters and simplified characters, you cover all bases! And using clips from TV shows/songs is also a nice touch. Plus I only knew 3/20 of these, so lots of new words for me, some of them are quite funny too like eating dirt. Of course one of the ones I knew is '算了', I hear that all the time when talking to Chinese people in Mandarin and there's a breakdown in communication!

    你举得例句有点问题。比如“她总喜欢吐槽”“他总是泼冷水”,这些句子举了等于没举,因为都没通过语境更好地展现这个phrase的准确意思。更好的例句比如,“我刚想出来一个商业计划,就被他泼了冷水”(通过例句就能加深理解,泼冷水可以用于否定一个想法的前景);或者“她部门有一个吹毛求疵的女上司,她每天都跟我吐槽”(也就知道吐槽是指倾诉一些烦人又通常难以逃脱的小事)

    For those who don’t understand why 菜鸟means greenhorn. 菜 itself is a slang meaning very inexperienced or unskilled. I guess it’s because veggies are normally soft. 鸟is also a slang for male genital, which implies a person. So 菜鸟together means an inexperienced person

      我怎么听””老外”这个词感觉你在骂我们呢,。 比如还是一个人愤怒的说诶老外过来这边,, 听起来感觉他在歧视, 还有在我脑子里想,因为我也是学中文是吧,那么有的时候看汉子会把它分开起或者很仔细的看好它那几个字造成的,,在举个例子啊,,, 老………外,, 感觉就把我们当成一直在房子里的外边似的, 这个人是不是老一直在外呢哈哈哈 ,真的我感觉这个词把我们从中国退出去似的,, 最后我是想说个非常深刻的一个道理啊, 那就是很多国家本来是空空的像美国一开始只有几个民族慢慢就有了白人黑人黄人等就把这个地方当成自己的家后来因为为了安全方面而变成国, 像中国50多个名族如果是慢慢的去了解他们的来源也应该是外地很多都是, 咱们2021年的现在我觉得应该中国尤其是年轻人去想包容像美国西方国家还有很多国家如果某某人在比如加拿大带了点时间有顺利的学到那边的语言或者文化而且很和谐的和他们生活那就有资格拿那里的户口, 那么中国呢我觉得也就应该对这件事也开放起,因为有很多已经爱上中国爱上中国文化,晚上都做梦用汉语去做梦😄 希望这个词慢慢的消失,或代替用其他词汇量, 比如外国友人,国际朋友,”“你好” ”请问” 不说外国也更好,因为咱们还是同一个人类,世界人民,有五只手,

    • @copypaste9067
      @copypaste9067 2 роки тому

      李可 解释的很好, 但你不觉得在一些场合这个词意思喊已经稍微有变化了,在词典里没变但人民用的时候是指别的意思, 像我的那些中国朋友们从来不喊我老外, 但比如我和一些员工在一起然后我走了之后他们就开始说我坏话也就会用到这个词就是有仇恨的感觉

    Something to keep in mind is that 吐槽 and 泼冷水 are usually neutral words. 吐槽 commonly criticize for comedic purposes now, I think this new meaning comes from Japanese comedic animes which include a lot of 吐槽.
    泼冷水 commonly used by the one doing 泼冷水 and doesn't mean anything negative. An example would be, 我必须给你泼一盆冷水, meaning "I have to calm you down". This is used when you think a person got over-optimistic or over-confident about something uncertain.
