No you don't have to worry it comes on cause when you wire it the fan turns on and the system thinks the motor is hot but it really isn't cause you just wired it
The wire disconnect from the sensor plug so I just wired it to ground for an on and off switch now the oil light comes up should I worry about it or not
@@colbyfranks2984i bypassed the sensor as video recommends but wondering isnt it just a 12 part for the motor oil sensor ? Replacing it doesnt seem like a hard fix,am i missing something ..thanks
Mine was blue, just pulled back the black sleeve, and it exposed the connecter. Wrap a wire round it,ground it to a foot peg or wherever, make sure key is in off position
I'll keep this PG. Brother I owe you a 12 pack when you come to Strayhorn, MS. Real quick video-to the point- fixed it in 5 minutes thanks to you!
You sound like Don Williams. He had one of the coolest looking cowboy hats.
Thank you sir. Diagnosed mine in less than a minute. Would have taken hours to figure that out without help.
thanks been trying find some help on this for three hours
Thank you for sharing exactly what I was looking for
Fixed my 2003 Honda 350 rancher , this way easy-peazy
Thanks
9 anos depois.... eu precisei dessa informação ... obrigado ... BRASIL
That will work, but, what about the amps it pulls while using the starter.
Thanks a million !
Thanks bro! This worked for me, keep up the good work
thanks! works! 2006 rancher 420
How about a video to show replacement of the sending unit. Probably will be replacing the fan motor soon now that it runs continously.
Works mint brother
Good thought does the fan burn out or have u had to replace it
Worked for me .. Good ideal thx man..
Bro! Thank you!
Thanks needed this
Appreciate the video saved me a couple bucks on a new fan but . Let me ask my oil temp light stays on ? Should I worry
No you don't have to worry it comes on cause when you wire it the fan turns on and the system thinks the motor is hot but it really isn't cause you just wired it
Just a tip if it doesn’t start right up you may have to give it a kickstart with a bar or something
Thanks for the tip
Good. job

Does it run all the time or just when it’s hot
This will shorten your stator and battery. Fan isn’t meant to draw that much power all the time.
Put it on a switch with a ground signal and turn on and off when you think you need it

Did you wire the two wires onto the block?
So I don’t need a new fan?
Is it the same on a 2005 Honda rancher?
What did you do about oil light staying on after doing this
I asked same question
Put some electrical tape over it
What's the plug look like
It worked to turn the fan on, but the oil light stays on now.
adam bayura s
Same. How did you fix?
Mine does the same, I think it's because the fan is running and it can't tell you that it's hot or not because there is no wire connected
l did like it
on my the fan don't stay on constantly, ,it cuts on and off,,,is that normal?
Yes it's controlled by temperature
I put a switch on mine but it blows the fuse sometimes
Don't know what you mean, you should pointing to where you talking about.
Your blind
Check your fan fuse first before you do all that.
What color is the wire
There's a cover on the wire I did the same thing to my fourwheller
