I agree that we should accept everyone, but do y’all actually think that love has no boundaries? Let me be clear, humans can literally fall in love with ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE. But what type of love do we consider moral and which is immoral? If love has no boundaries at all then that means that I should be allowed to marry my brother, my father, aunt, uncle, etc. There was this case in my family about a while ago, one of my uncles had married 23 years ago and his wife gave birth to a son. A while later, they divorced and the wife left with her son to Europe and my uncle got remarried again. His second wife gave birth to a daughter and for 20 years all went well until.. the first wife returned from Europe and the son and daughter went to the same university and somehow fell in love (without knowing they have the same father) because the first wife got remarried as well while being in Europe. When the son came to ask for the daughter’s hand in marriage, my uncle saw his first wife and then they found out that the son and daughter are half siblings (different mothers, same father) and it was a complete shock to everyone because we thought; should we allow it just because it’s love or should we take moral values into consideration? People need to understand that although love can happen with anyone no matter the race, colour, ethnicity, religion and gender, there is a boundary and a wall greater than the wall of China that separates which love is moral and which is immoral. I don’t support LGBT but I respect you as a human being bc you’re no less than a human, the point I made above is just so people can understand my views.

I understand your point but I don’t think that people are actually born gay, people change and grow to like different things when they get older and there’s proof of that even in the public eye. Actress Kristen Stewart who famously played Bella Swan in Twilight used to be straight at the time, she dated many men and in fact had even said to lose her virginity to her boyfriend when she was a teenager. But now she’s in her 30s and she identifies as a lesbian and dates women. This isn’t something you’re born with bc people can change quick, you may like someone today but tomorrow you might grow to like someone else

Therefore they are not 'transitioning' but rather are stuck between. They are neither male nor female. Perhaps intersexual would be a better word for them. Ahem why are we making the greatest sinners in human history as our example? The church believes there is only 2 genders “male” and “female” but then there is intersex people - a person both male and female. Also if you take all passages literally than your saying women are inferior to men. Also the whole women where made for men is saying that there is no purpose for having meaningful relationships we are just here to reproduce and die. Which personally I don’t know about you but I don’t think that’s the intended life god made for us. Hello everyone! I have a few questions that I hope you can answer for me, because everyone here seems to be an expert. I also hope we can have a normal conversation without threats, bullying and hatred towards each other. I have always wondered why people who disapprove of LGBTQIA+ seem to only care about this "sin" and not other clearly named sins in the Bible, such as: Temple desecration (Mk 11:15-18 ), hypocrisy (Mt 23:1-36 ), covetousness (Lk 12:15 ), blasphemy (Mt 12:22-37), adultery (Mt 5:27-32), boasting (Mt 6:1-18). Is real, deep love between two men or women really "worse" than the sins clearly mentioned in the Bible? I don't think there is a single person in the world who has never bragged or been greedy or mean to another person - and these actions even have a negative impact on other people, while a relationship between two consenting adults does not. " He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her" (John 8:7). With these words I would like to end my remarks and hope for comments.
A relationship between two consenting adults can have a negative impact on God who I believe does not support a gay relationship. For christians like myself who (like God) do not support a gay relationship receive negative impact from them. So yes, they do have negative impacts on some people.
You have the right lens; all sin is bad, and it is hypocritical for others to judge just homosexuality without examining their own sexual sin in their heterosexual attractions. Sin is bad because it has a negative impact on God, it's not always about how it effects other sinners on earth. For example, turning the good habit of stretching into an all-day idol leaving no time for God doesn't really harm anyone, but it would harm your relationship with God and become sinful. Homosexuality attraction may not harm anyone in the consenting parties, but it does not fit within God's design or purpose so therefore it is sin, just like the sin of creating an idol out of something "harmless". By God's standards, sexual sin of any kind defiles our own body, which is his temple, so you could say that sexual sin is still harming someone, it's just yourself.

(Genesis 1:27, NSRV) The use of male and female here is a merism, a figure of speech by which a single thing (Humanity) is referred to by a phrase with several parts, but does not include all parts. In Genesis 1:1 the Universe is described as the Heaven’s and the Earth. This also indicates that God is not limited to a single gender. He had to fill and populate the earth. It in no way indicates the totality of his creation. Was every animal and species listed in Genesis. No. Jesus did not exclude others. Stop this nonsense which is harmful to people. @@janicedcruz7861 Leviticus Chapter 20 begins with an injunction against pagan cultic temple practice to the God Molech. You have to look at the cultural context of scripture. We know that male temple prostitution was widespread in the ancient world. It is referred to in the Bible, even in 1 Kings at the time of kingdom divide. Also, this is a tribal society in which women were seen as subservient and only useful for procreation. If two men got together one would have to take on this passive role of a women, which was considered against culture because of the strict roles of men and women. This is not to say that two men or two women did not come together. Procreation was dependent upon survival in the tribal culture. To say that this verse is a blanket universal condemnation of homosexuality is absurd and are you putting two men who engage in gay sex to death today? No. These scriptures have been taken out of cultural context to condemn LGBT people and it is simply not a prohibition against loving committed LGBT relationships. If you are going to be a fundamentalist then you have to keep the punishments.

The term “Born Eunich” is referring to gay men that Jesus discusses and there is historical writing to prove it. These were most likely the more effeminate gay men. You also have to understand that in the ancient world, homosexuality was viewed as a sexual behavior. So if a man had sex with another man, they would not have looked at him as a homosexual or having that orientation. They would have just seen it as sexual behavior. It was widely accepted in Roman and Greek cultures. The Emporers would have male lovers, sometimes young boys. The Jews did not approve of it in the 2nd temple error, but the concept of male temple prostitution surfaced even among the ancient Israelite Kings. It is mentioned in the Book of Kings. Second Samuel 1:26 records David’s lament after Jonathan’s death, in which he said that his love for Jonathan was more wonderful than the love of a woman. Some use these two passages to suggest a homosexual relationship between David and Jonathan. This interpretation, however, should be rejected for at least three reasons. First, the Hebrew word for “love” used here covers a broad range of meanings and does not mean “romantic” or “sexual” love unless the context demands it. Forms of the same word are used for loving God (Exodus 20:6), loving one’s neighbor as oneself (Leviticus 19:18), treating foreigners well (Leviticus 19:34), sharing friendship (Job 19:19), having diplomatic ties (1 Kings 5:1), taking pleasure in the work of a subordinate (1 Samuel 16:21), and even “loving” inanimate things (Proverbs 21:17). Second, David’s comparison of his relationship with Jonathan with that of women is probably a reference to his experience with King Saul’s daughters. He was promised one of Saul’s daughters for killing Goliath. The first daughter was abruptly given to another man. The second daughter was promised, but Saul continued to add conditions to the deal, hoping to see David killed in battle (1 Samuel 18:17, 25). Extolling a homosexual love between David and Jonathan would be contradicting the prohibitions of it found throughout the Bible. The friendship between David and Jonathan was a covenantal relationship. In 1 Samuel 18:1-5, we read of David and Jonathan forming an agreement. In this agreement, Jonathan was to be second in command in David’s future reign, and David was to protect Jonathan’s family (1 Samuel 20:16-17, 42; 23:16-18). Obviously, these two men were also very good friends. In their relationship we can see at least three qualities of true friendship. First, they sacrificed for one another. In 1 Samuel 18:4, we read that Jonathan gave David his clothes and military garb. The significance of this gift was that Jonathan recognized that David would one day be king of Israel. Rather than being envious or jealous, Jonathan submitted to God’s will and sacrificed his own right to the throne. Second, in 1 Samuel 19:1-3, we read of Jonathan’s loyalty toward and defense of David. King Saul told his followers to kill David. Jonathan rebuked his father and recalled David’s faithfulness to him in killing Goliath. Finally, Jonathan and David were also free to express their emotions with one another. In 1 Samuel 20, we read of a plan concocted by Jonathan to reveal his father’s plans toward David. Jonathan was going to practice his archery. If he told his servant that the arrows he shot were to the side of the target, David was safe. If Jonathan told his servant that the arrows were beyond the target, David was to leave and not return. Jonathan told the servant that the arrows were beyond the target, meaning that David should flee. After releasing his servant, Jonathan found David and the two men cried together. Rather than being evidence for a homosexual relationship in the Bible, the account of David and Jonathan is an example of true biblical friendship. True friendship, according to the Bible, involves loyalty, sacrifice, compromise, and yes, emotional attachment. That is what we should learn from David and Jonathan. The idea that David and Jonathan were practicing homosexuals (or bisexuals) has no biblical basis

I used to struggle with homophobia and my sexuality, and the past few years I did a lot of changing and accepted myself and others, even with our differences, no matter what in life you're gonna sin and be flawed and thats ok, you're a person who is loved and worth it, I don't identify as Christian or religious, I identify my union with Christ and no person nor religion or church tells me otherwise because they are not me, you are allowed to believe and feel what you feel towards others you have the freewill to do so but at the end of the day you'll be remembered for what you show yourself and how you treated others.

Jude gives a list of incidents as evidence of God’s judgment, and one of the incidents that he cites is the case of Sodom and Gomorrah. The King James Version and the New American Standard Version are similar in the translation of Jude 1:7, and both use the term strange flesh. “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire” (NASB). The ESV has a more interpretive translation: “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.” The ESV includes an alternate translation, “different flesh,” in a footnote. The NIV provides the most interpretive translation: “In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. It is not as though angels were being assaulted on a regular basis in Sodom. The next issue that needs to be addressed is the term translated “strange “ in the phrase “strange flesh.” The word translated “strange” is hetero, which means “different.” The issue is complicated by the fact that we use the term heterosexual to refer to attraction to the opposite gender and homosexual to refer to same-sex attraction. Jude 1:7 says that Sodom and Gomorrah were judged because of hetero attractions. However, the context is clear that hetero in this case does not mean “different gender” but “different from the norm,” as in “strange.” Romans 1:26-27 calls these urges and actions “unnatural”-that is, they are different (hetero) from the God-ordained design. Finally, some have charged that the sin of Sodom was not homosexuality per se, but violence and attempted homosexual rape. They claim that Genesis 19 has nothing to do with loving, mutual homosexual desire. Certainly, the violence of the men of Sodom adds an additional layer to the problem. It may account for why Jude describes the incident in Sodom as one of “gross immorality,” but it does not explain why Jude says they desired “strange flesh.” Furthermore, it was not for the single incident with Lot that Sodom was judged; rather, that incident simply demonstrated and confirmed the kind of immorality that was rampant in Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding areas. When all the evidence is considered, the traditional understanding is still the most consistent with the biblical data. Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding areas gave themselves over to all sorts of sexual perversion (rape would be included in this), but homosexual attraction and activity, described as a desire for “strange flesh,” is also included. Jude describes homosexual desire as a desire for hetero flesh because it is “different” from the God-ordained plan for sexuality. Jude says that the men of Sodom were judged for this and stand as an example of God’s willingness and ability to judge such actions in the future.

While it is infact true that the word "homosexual" was not added in the Bible until 1946, when the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) was printed, unfortunately nothing was "mistranslated". What you might be thinking of is the Martin Luther Bible, where in the Leviticus passages, the German word that is used there is "knaben" which means "boy" and in 1 Corinthians 6:9 the German word that is used there is "knabenschänder" where "knaben" means "boy" and "schänder" means "molester". But unfortunately it does not matter what any German translation says. The Bible in English is translated from the earliest Hebrew and Greek Texts. In Hebrew, Leviticus 18:22 says: ואת־זכר לא תשכב משכבי אשה תעובה הִוא wĕʾet-zākār lōʾ tiškab miškĕbê (miškĕvê) tôʿēbâ hiw A literal translation is: ‘With (a) male you shall not lie (the) lyings (or beds) of a woman. (An) abomination (tôʿēbâ) is that.’ [1: p231][5] The Septugint (Greek) reads thus: καὶ μετὰ ἄρσενος οὐ κοιμηθήσῃ κοίτην γυναικός, βδέλυγμα γάρ ἐστιν. In 1 Timothy 1:8-11, the Apostle Paul writes, we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the Law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality [arsenokoitai], enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. Paul is listing various disobedient groups of people who have been given the Law to tell that their acts are contrary to God’s will. Thus, we would expect the arsenokoitai to correspond to some prohibition in the Law. The obvious candidate prohibition, for reasons given above, is Leviticus 18:22. It’s important not to misunderstand the context of this prohibition. Paul is no harsher in his condemnation of homosexual activity than he is of sexual immorality in general. And just a few verses later, he writes, “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life” (1 Timothy 1:15-16). Anyone who uses these verses either to single out homosexual sin for unique condemnation, or who fails to speak with humility of God’s love for all, is misusing the text. However, it’s also important not to misunderstand the prohibition itself. While pederasty was the most common form of same-sex activity recorded in ancient writings, Paul doesn’t use the common language of pederasty. Instead of condemning age or power differences, he coins a new word which focuses particularly on relationships that involve two men. These kinds of considerations, it seems to me, make the claim that Paul was only condemning pederasty-rather than same-sex sexual activity more generally-much more problematic.

It is also worth noting that Koine Greek had specific words for homosexuality and none of the Bible's authors ever chose to use those words. Instead, modern scholars have twisted and contorted the Greek texts to say what they want it to say, namely that homosexuality is a sin.

So the statement "God made me this way" has *no* real scriptural basis. James 1:14-15 tells us that "14 each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their *own* evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." To claim that God gave or created people with these evil desires is also false as just one verse earlier in James 1:13 it says "13 *When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.”* For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone Moreover, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." So even if we have a proclivity towards a particular sin, wether it be homosexuality or any other sin, it was not given by God and Jesus "gave himself for us to *redeem* us from all wickedness and to *purify* for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." (Titus 2:14) We find an example of this in 1 Corinthians 6:11 where it says, “And that is what some of you *were.* But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (emphasis added). This statement negates the idea of “homosexual Christianity” being acceptable to God. Paul tells the Corinthian believers that practices such as homosexuality were evidences of their former life before Christ. Now they have been *born again,* and they have a new nature and new desires. The old nature remains, and the temptations continue, but child of God has been called to fight against sin, not live in it any longer. By the life-changing grace of God, the Corinthians’ new life stands in opposition to the way they used to live.
The Bible also says that you shouldn’t mix fibers in certain clothing, nor should you eat meats from “unclean animals”, and you should only plant certain crops every seven years. Technically, based off a lot of translations, that would still send you to Hell. The original Greek text has been twisted something fierce to get to its modern definition. Recommend looking up the website "StopBibleAbuse", they break down the passages dealing with LGBT issues and explain the history of the translations and go into detail about the full meaning behind the original Koine Greek text.

There was this case in my family about a while ago, one of my uncles had married 23 years ago and his wife gave birth to a son. A while later, they divorced and the wife left with her son to Europe and my uncle got remarried again. His second wife gave birth to a daughter and for 20 years all went well until.. the first wife returned from Europe and the son and daughter went to the same university and somehow fell in love (without knowing they have the same father) because the first wife got remarried as well while being in Europe.
When the son came to ask for the daughter’s hand in marriage, my uncle saw his first wife and then they found out that the son and daughter are half siblings (different mothers, same father) and it was a complete shock to everyone because we thought; should we allow it just because it’s love or should we take moral values into consideration?
People need to understand that although love can happen with anyone no matter the race, colour, ethnicity, religion and gender, there is a boundary and a wall greater than the wall of China that separates which love is moral and which is immoral. Hello everyone! I have a few questions that I hope you can answer for me, because everyone here seems to be an expert. I also hope we can have a normal conversation without threats, bullying and hatred towards each other. I have always wondered why people who disapprove of LGBTQIA+ seem to only care about this "sin" and not other clearly named sins in the Bible, such as: Temple desecration (Mk 11:15-18 ), hypocrisy (Mt 23:1-36 ), covetousness (Lk 12:15 ), blasphemy (Mt 12:22-37), adultery (Mt 5:27-32), boasting (Mt 6:1-18). Is real, deep love between two men or women really "worse" than the sins clearly mentioned in the Bible? I don't think there is a single person in the world who has never bragged or been greedy or mean to another person - and these actions even have a negative impact on other people, while a relationship between two consenting adults does not.

A relationship between two consenting adults can have a negative impact on God who I believe does not support a gay relationship. For christians like myself who (like God) do not support a gay relationship receive negative impact from them. So yes, they do have negative impacts on some people.
You have the right lens; all sin is bad, and it is hypocritical for others to judge just homosexuality without examining their own sexual sin in their heterosexual attractions. Sin is bad because it has a negative impact on God, it's not always about how it effects other sinners on earth. For example, turning the good habit of stretching into an all-day idol leaving no time for God doesn't really harm anyone, but it would harm your relationship with God and become sinful. Homosexuality attraction may not harm anyone in the consenting parties, but it does not fit within God's design or purpose so therefore it is sin, just like the sin of creating an idol out of something "harmless". By God's standards, sexual sin of any kind defiles our own body, which is his temple, so you could say that sexual sin is still harming someone, it's just yourself.

@@janicedcruz7861 Leviticus Chapter 20 begins with an injunction against pagan cultic temple practice to the God Molech. You have to look at the cultural context of scripture. We know that male temple prostitution was widespread in the ancient world. It is referred to in the Bible, even in 1 Kings at the time of kingdom divide. Also, this is a tribal society in which women were seen as subservient and only useful for procreation. If two men got together one would have to take on this passive role of a women, which was considered against culture because of the strict roles of men and women. This is not to say that two men or two women did not come together. Procreation was dependent upon survival in the tribal culture. To say that this verse is a blanket universal condemnation of homosexuality is absurd and are you putting two men who engage in gay sex to death today? No. These scriptures have been taken out of cultural context to condemn LGBT people and it is simply not a prohibition against loving committed LGBT relationships. The term “Born Eunich” is referring to gay men that Jesus discusses and there is historical writing to prove it. These were most likely the more effeminate gay men. You also have to understand that in the ancient world, homosexuality was viewed as a sexual behavior. So if a man had sex with another man, they would not have looked at him as a homosexual or having that orientation. They would have just seen it as sexual behavior. It was widely accepted in Roman and Greek cultures. The Emporers would have male lovers, sometimes young boys. The Jews did not approve of it in the 2nd temple error, but the concept of male temple prostitution surfaced even among the ancient Israelite Kings. It is mentioned in the Book of Kings. John Bevere also gives an example of one of his friends, to further illustrate his point.
"A number of years ago, I had a friend who was addicted to smoking cigarettes. Despite knowing how bad the habit was for him, he would still find himself smoking four packs a day. For years, he prayed and asked God to set him free from it, but nothing changed.
Then, one day, he saw a friend in his church get instantly delivered from the same problem.
My friend was so frustrated.
Angry, he went to God and exclaimed, “I’ve been crying out to You for two years! Why haven’t You delivered me?!”
God spoke to him and said, “Because you still like it.”
He was stunned, overcome by the revelation that God couldn’t deliver him from something he still liked and desired. That’s because God will never override our free will. He repented, asking God to help him to stop desiring the very thing that kept him in bondage, and was instantly delivered. This man went from smoking four packs of cigarettes a day to none-and he’s been free till this day.
Paul exhorts us, “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good” (Romans 12:9 NKJV).
If you want to get free, you can’t be double-minded. You must passionately hate the sin you want to be free from. It was only when my heart began to break over how my struggle with porn was breaking God’s heart that I began walking in freedom. When I started to see my sin the way God sees it-for the destructive, damaging, detestable thing that it was-I hated it through and through.
Pray that God would help you see your sin for what it is. Ask Him to help you hate it. When there is no part of you that still loves your sin, you’ll find it so much easier to let go of."
"David & Jonathan were lovers"
We know from 1 Samuel 18:1 that Jonathan loved David. Second Samuel 1:26 records David’s lament after Jonathan’s death, in which he said that his love for Jonathan was more wonderful than the love of a woman. Some use these two passages to suggest a homosexual relationship between David and Jonathan. This interpretation, however, should be rejected for at least three reasons.
First, the Hebrew word for “love” used here covers a broad range of meanings and does not mean “romantic” or “sexual” love unless the context demands it. Forms of the same word are used for loving God (Exodus 20:6), loving one’s neighbor as oneself (Leviticus 19:18), treating foreigners well (Leviticus 19:34), sharing friendship (Job 19:19), having diplomatic ties (1 Kings 5:1), taking pleasure in the work of a subordinate (1 Samuel 16:21), and even “loving” inanimate things (Proverbs 21:17).
Second, David’s comparison of his relationship with Jonathan with that of women is probably a reference to his experience with King Saul’s daughters. He was promised one of Saul’s daughters for killing Goliath. The first daughter was abruptly given to another man. The second daughter was promised, but Saul continued to add conditions to the deal, hoping to see David killed in battle (1 Samuel 18:17, 25). The loyalty and camaraderie David had with Jonathan came with no conditions and was of greater value than the companionship of Saul’s daughter.
Third, the Bible clearly and consistently denounces homosexuality (Genesis 1:26-27; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:18-25). Extolling a homosexual love between David and Jonathan would be contradicting the prohibitions of it found throughout the Bible.
The friendship between David and Jonathan was a covenantal relationship. In 1 Samuel 18:1-5, we read of David and Jonathan forming an agreement. In this agreement, Jonathan was to be second in command in David’s future reign, and David was to protect Jonathan’s family (1 Samuel 20:16-17, 42; 23:16-18).
Obviously, these two men were also very good friends. In their relationship we can see at least three qualities of true friendship. First, they sacrificed for one another. In 1 Samuel 18:4, we read that Jonathan gave David his clothes and military garb. The significance of this gift was that Jonathan recognized that David would one day be king of Israel. Rather than being envious or jealous, Jonathan submitted to God’s will and sacrificed his own right to the throne. Second, in 1 Samuel 19:1-3, we read of Jonathan’s loyalty toward and defense of David. King Saul told his followers to kill David. Jonathan rebuked his father and recalled David’s faithfulness to him in killing Goliath. Finally, Jonathan and David were also free to express their emotions with one another. In 1 Samuel 20, we read of a plan concocted by Jonathan to reveal his father’s plans toward David. Jonathan was going to practice his archery. If he told his servant that the arrows he shot were to the side of the target, David was safe. If Jonathan told his servant that the arrows were beyond the target, David was to leave and not return. Jonathan told the servant that the arrows were beyond the target, meaning that David should flee. After releasing his servant, Jonathan found David and the two men cried together.
Rather than being evidence for a homosexual relationship in the Bible, the account of David and Jonathan is an example of true biblical friendship. True friendship, according to the Bible, involves loyalty, sacrifice, compromise, and yes, emotional attachment. That is what we should learn from David and Jonathan. The idea that David and Jonathan were practicing homosexuals (or bisexuals) has no biblical basis

I used to struggle with homophobia and my sexuality, and the past few years I did a lot of changing and accepted myself and others, even with our differences, no matter what in life you're gonna sin and be flawed and thats ok, you're a person who is loved and worth it, I don't identify as Christian or religious, I identify my union with Christ and no person nor religion or church tells me otherwise because they are not me, you are allowed to believe and feel what you feel towards others you have the freewill to do so but at the end of the day you'll be remembered for what you show yourself and how you treated others.

In context, Jude is assuring his readers that God has punished sin in the past and, therefore, He will continue to do so in the future. Jude gives a list of incidents as evidence of God’s judgment, and one of the incidents that he cites is the case of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The King James Version and the New American Standard Version are similar in the translation of Jude 1:7, and both use the term strange flesh. “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire” (NASB).
The ESV has a more interpretive translation: “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.” The ESV includes an alternate translation, “different flesh,” in a footnote.
The NIV provides the most interpretive translation: “In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”
The traditional understanding of this passage is that the “strange flesh” refers to homosexual desire similar to what was exhibited in Sodom in Genesis 19. Two angels (appearing as men) visited Sodom. Lot, not knowing that they were angels, asked them to come into his home. The men of the city learned of the visitors and mobbed Lot’s house, saying, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them” (verse 4).
In recent years, there has been an attempt to legitimize homosexual desire and even to look for ways to make it compatible with biblical teaching. Some have challenged the traditional understanding that the pursuit of “strange flesh” refers to homosexual lust.
Jude 1:7 begins with “in the same way,” which calls our attention to the situation in the previous verse. Verse 6 says, “And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.” This has often been understood as a reference to Genesis 6. The first verses of that chapter highlight the wickedness that precipitated the flood. Many interpret the Genesis passage as referring to angels who in some way had sexual relations with human women. According to some, the logic in Jude 1 runs this way: in verse 6 angels have sexual desire for human beings, and in verse 7 human beings have sexual desire for angels. The conclusion is that the desire for “strange flesh” in Jude 1:7 refers to human-angel relations, not any kind of human-human relations.
This interpretation has several problems. First, it is far from clear that Jude 1:6 is a reference to Genesis 6:2-4. Second, it is far from clear that “the sons of God” in Genesis 6:2-4 refers to angels or that human-angel sexual activity is what is in view. Third, the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah warranted judgment before the angels ever showed up (Genesis 19:20). In fact, pending judgment was the reason the angels went to Sodom in the first place. It is not as though angels were being assaulted on a regular basis in Sodom. And, finally, the men of Sodom had no idea that the “men” visiting Lot’s house were angels, so the issue could not be an unnatural attraction to angels.
The next issue that needs to be addressed is the term translated “strange “ in the phrase “strange flesh.” The word translated “strange” is hetero, which means “different.” The issue is complicated by the fact that we use the term heterosexual to refer to attraction to the opposite gender and homosexual to refer to same-sex attraction. Jude 1:7 says that Sodom and Gomorrah were judged because of hetero attractions. However, the context is clear that hetero in this case does not mean “different gender” but “different from the norm,” as in “strange.” Romans 1:26-27 calls these urges and actions “unnatural”-that is, they are different (hetero) from the God-ordained design.
Finally, some have charged that the sin of Sodom was not homosexuality per se, but violence and attempted homosexual rape. They claim that Genesis 19 has nothing to do with loving, mutual homosexual desire. Certainly, the violence of the men of Sodom adds an additional layer to the problem. It may account for why Jude describes the incident in Sodom as one of “gross immorality,” but it does not explain why Jude says they desired “strange flesh.” Furthermore, it was not for the single incident with Lot that Sodom was judged; rather, that incident simply demonstrated and confirmed the kind of immorality that was rampant in Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding areas.
When all the evidence is considered, the traditional understanding is still the most consistent with the biblical data. Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding areas gave themselves over to all sorts of sexual perversion (rape would be included in this), but homosexual attraction and activity, described as a desire for “strange flesh,” is also included. Jude describes homosexual desire as a desire for hetero flesh because it is “different” from the God-ordained plan for sexuality. Jude says that the men of Sodom were judged for this and stand as an example of God’s willingness and ability to judge such actions in the future.

While it is infact true that the word "homosexual" was not added in the Bible until 1946, when the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) was printed, unfortunately nothing was "mistranslated".
What you might be thinking of is the Martin Luther Bible, where in the Leviticus passages, the German word that is used there is "knaben" which means "boy" and in 1 Corinthians 6:9 the German word that is used there is "knabenschänder" where "knaben" means "boy" and "schänder" means "molester".
But unfortunately it does not matter what any German translation says. The Bible in English is translated from the earliest Hebrew and Greek Texts.
In Hebrew, Leviticus 18:22 says:
ואת־זכר לא תשכב משכבי אשה תעובה הִוא
wĕʾet-zākār lōʾ tiškab miškĕbê (miškĕvê) tôʿēbâ hiw
A literal translation is: ‘With (a) male you shall not lie (the) lyings (or beds) of a woman. (An) abomination (tôʿēbâ) is that.’ [1: p231][5]
The Septugint (Greek) reads thus:

The word malakoi literally means “soft.” & arsenokoitai is recognizable as a compound word which originated in the Septuagint (Greek) translation of Leviticus 20:13 which speaks of a man who lies with mankind as with womankind. In Leviticus, the compound word arsenokoitai word is presented as two separate words - arsenos, derived from the Greek word arsenikos (ἀρσενικός), meaning "male", "virile" and koitēn (κοίτην) meaning “lay.”
Again, Neither "יֶלֶד" (child), "נַעַר" (boy) or "בֵּן" (Son) are seen in either of these Hebrew verses and the word "παῖς" (boy, child, youth) is also not seen in either of their Septuagint translations.
What you might also be thinking of is one argument that is sometimes offered by Christian advocates of same-sex marriage that the Apostle Paul was not thinking of loving, monogamous adult relationships, and only intended to condemn Greco/Roman pederasty. I’ve been thinking in general about Paul’s historical context and, more specifically, about this argument.
First, it’s important to acknowledge that relationships between adult men and adolescent boys or young men were the most commonly attested same-sex relationships in the ancient world. There are exceptions-Plato’s Symposium discusses committed, lifelong same-sex relationships-but this is by far the most common kind of relationship. We should therefore acknowledge that the Apostle Paul was likely most familiar with this kind of same-sex sexual activity.
It’s worth observing, however, that precisely because this form of same-sex sexuality was so common, there was standard terminology in Greek for talking about these relationships-the older man was the erastes (lover) and the younger man the eromenos (beloved). If these relationships were Paul’s target, it would have been reasonable for him to use these standard Greek terms.
Again, Instead, he used an apparently novel term, arsenokoitai, which either he invented or which he took from Helenistic Judaism. The most logical derivation of this new word is from the Septuagint translation of Leviticus 18:22, which says that you shall not lie with (koiten) a man (arsenos) as with a woman.
In both Greek and English, verbs can be transformed into nouns. Thus, in English, swimmers are people who swim. In Greek, the koitai are men (-ai is a masculine ending) who koiten-that is, “lie with” in a sexual sense. So the arsenokoitai are men who lie with other men in a sexual sense.
There is an additional reason for thinking that arsenokoitai is derived from Leviticus 18:22. In 1 Timothy 1:8-11, the Apostle Paul writes,
we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the Law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality [arsenokoitai], enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
Paul is listing various disobedient groups of people who have been given the Law to tell that their acts are contrary to God’s will. Thus, we would expect the arsenokoitai to correspond to some prohibition in the Law. The obvious candidate prohibition, for reasons given above, is Leviticus 18:22.
It’s important not to misunderstand the context of this prohibition. Paul is no harsher in his condemnation of homosexual activity than he is of sexual immorality in general. And just a few verses later, he writes, “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life” (1 Timothy 1:15-16). Anyone who uses these verses either to single out homosexual sin for unique condemnation, or who fails to speak with humility of God’s love for all, is misusing the text.
However, it’s also important not to misunderstand the prohibition itself. While pederasty was the most common form of same-sex activity recorded in ancient writings, Paul doesn’t use the common language of pederasty. Instead of condemning age or power differences, he coins a new word which focuses particularly on relationships that involve two men.
These kinds of considerations, it seems to me, make the claim that Paul was only condemning pederasty-rather than same-sex sexual activity more generally-much more problematic.

It is also worth noting that Koine Greek had specific words for homosexuality and none of the Bible's authors ever chose to use those words. Instead, modern scholars have twisted and contorted the Greek texts to say what they want it to say, namely that homosexuality is a sin.

The sad reality is that we live in a fallen world, and all creation “groans” under the consequences of our sin (Romans 8:22) and In Adam, we sinned and fell, becoming corrupted ourselves. Thus, we are born in sin (Psalm 51:5) and are evil from our youth up (Genesis 8:21). Therefore, death reigns over all (Romans 5:12) "because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".
We also know from 2 Corinthians 4:4 that
4 satan, *who is the god of this world,* has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
We are also taught in Ephesians 2:2 "You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil-the commander of the powers in the unseen world. *he is the spirit at work* in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God."
So we can see from scripture that is infact *our sinful natures* and *satan* who is god of this world that causes people to sin, and not just satan, but also his demons, according to Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
So the statement "God made me this way" has *no* real scriptural basis.
James 1:14-15 tells us that "14 each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their *own* evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."
To claim that God gave or created people with these evil desires is also false as just one verse earlier in James 1:13 it says "13 *When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.”* For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone
Moreover, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
God calls *everyone* regardless of how they choose to identify to repent of their sins and not to stay in them as Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3 "I tell you, no; but unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish" and we are also told to repent in not just Luke 13:3, but also in Luke 15:10; Luke 24:47; Matthew 4:17; Matthew 11:20; Mark 1:15 and Acts 5:31.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17 we are told "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the *new* creation has come:[a] *The old has gone, the new is here!"*
And in Ephesians 4:20-24 we are taught "20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."
So even if we have a proclivity towards a particular sin, wether it be homosexuality or any other sin, it was not given by God and Jesus "gave himself for us to *redeem* us from all wickedness and to *purify* for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." (Titus 2:14)
We find an example of this in 1 Corinthians 6:11 where it says, “And that is what some of you *were.* But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (emphasis added). This statement negates the idea of “homosexual Christianity” being acceptable to God. Paul tells the Corinthian believers that practices such as homosexuality were evidences of their former life before Christ. Now they have been *born again,* and they have a new nature and new desires. The old nature remains, and the temptations continue, but child of God has been called to fight against sin, not live in it any longer. By the life-changing grace of God, the Corinthians’ new life stands in opposition to the way they used to live.

So here it mentions that we dishonor our bodies by “exchanging natural relations” (heterosexuality) for “those that are contrary to nature” (homosexuality). That each man should have his own wife and each wife should have a husband. And that same sex relationship is an “abomination” and leads to death.

Technically, based off a lot of translations, that would still send you to Hell. The original Greek text has been twisted something fierce to get to its modern definition. Recommend looking up the website "StopBibleAbuse", they break down the passages dealing with LGBT issues and explain the history of the translations and go into detail about the full meaning behind the original Koine Greek text.
