I LOVE this hat!! I'm surprised you get such a different look from just using a row of K, P and a row of K. Who knew??!! I sure didn't. Love your cast on too. I have only used it for drawstring cast ons, but those days are now over. I am currently working on your Wisteria Lace stitch for a scarf so having an easier project to switch back and forth between will help keep my sanity. I loom knit for the homeless and for the hospital that is half a block from me. I'm always up for new hat patterns that are fast since I loom 'in bulk', but I want them to be different and unique for people. I bet it makes a cuter than heck baby hat too. Thank you so much for sharing this great pattern. I will definitely start it soon...like, right now!
Thank you so much! My goal is to help all loomers break out of their comfort zones and see you create things that look complicated but are really easy. 💜
I'm thinking if doing this in the flat... This would work back and forth. I want to make a blanket and I have done this..made me hat and I really enjoyed the hat and the stitch. Do you think this stitch would look good as blanket? 🤔 Thank you, Really like your work. 👍😎
Your hand is there just to GUIDE your yarn, let it flow through your fingers. DO NOT pull it, tug it, tighten it, etc, just let it flow naturally and be hyper focused on it until it becomes naturally relaxed. Sometimes people aren't aware that they're pulling, tightening and tugging. just let it flow
Michelle, what gloves do you use for your hands? I have psoriatic arthritis, and I am looking for a better pair of gloves than the ones I have, that will have the flexibility to allow me to loom knit or crochet. Thanks in advance... I'm a big fan of your videos!
If making this hat for a young lady, would you use a 36 or41 peg loom? Have tried both, one seems too small and the other too big. Using a #5 chunky yarn. Have started over several times, just trying to get your opinion Thank you.
Shirley are you using the no brim or brim method? If no brim, try using a brim and the 41. Use a u knit and purl brim not e-wrap or it'll be too big again. Hope that helps sweetie
What am I doing wrong? First hat I did was all e wrap any did not relax, like very Lacey and loose. (1 strand 4 weight on knifty knitter). Second one, last night, I used 2 strands and it was wicked hard to yarn over for knit. Also, longer strands in between knit rows, (first/last stitch mainly). Do you have troubleshooting video? Please help.
KK looms are 3/4" gauge and not ideal with worsted (#4 weight) yarn unless you use double strand, so that's why it looks all loose. Also I don't e-wrap with this hat, it's U Knit / True Knit only. So if you don't have thicker yarn, use 2 strands and use U knit and not e-wrap. Also, be aware of your tension, your hand is there just to GUIDE your yarn, let it flow through your fingers. DO NOT pull it, tug it, tighten it, etc, just let it flow naturally and be hyper focused on it until it becomes naturally relaxed
I am revisiting this great pattern as I am getting ready to make more hats and it is my favorite hat pattern. So, I'm a pe-can sayer. Plus, I say au-monds. Far worse than those two, my ant's name is Ellen 😱.
Love them hook

Thanks...🙏👍
Awesome I love it!
Thank you!
Another great pattern! 🥰
Thanks 💜
Where did you get the base that you put your looms on? I have seen several of your videos and you have it there.
It's just a simple lazy susan
@@MrsRynsai that is what I thought it could be!
Mine is s.o very tight. What did i do wrong?? Only a few rows into the hat and might just take it apart

Where can you get that cookie fortune web
What exactly are you referring to?
I like the hook I would like to get me one if I know where to get them at
@@brendawilliamson4596 I have it up in the description with the link also

Yes, I really wanted a brimless hat for a change of pace. Love this little hat!
Do you have any other looms that you could possibly use? Or is that it?
That’s it, I’m afraid!
Can i use 2 strands of #4 instead of 1 strand of #6? Love this hat!
Sure, it's completely up to you 😉
Thanks a bunch. I will make this one for my Charity hat this year for Xmas. Hope this is ok.❤️
It's fabulous! 🖤

Did u custom it longer than normal and which tip. It was a bit short for me. Going to do this today. Great new cast on. Thanks
Always use your own length with hats, this one was shorter for my hubby's head
@@MrsRynsai sorry for confusion, I meant the hook. I have one from Steve and it is a bit short. Thanks
Ohh ok, message Kim if you order another one and just tell him that you need a longer hook on it he's awesome about stuff like that
How many rows do you think roughly? Or length before decreasing? Thanks...love the pattern
I don't do rows, I do length. For an adult hat, I go between 8-9" total
A can of soda? or a can of pop?
Soda
I have started a beanie hat but I know how to make it without the brim
Ok, that's awesome

What is the diameter of the loom?
I'm not near out either now, having dinner but you can get that info from the loom site directly 😉
