I ruined the cutest beanie by not researching the best bind off and it’s now a plant cozy -I so so love and appreciate your videos and I am so grateful ❤
I just tried this decrease on the bottom of the bag with the juniper stitch, and it makes a perfect flat bottom to the bag. I've made about 5 bags, adding drawstrings, and straps for carrying, but this is a perfect addition.
Can,thank you enough for your tutorials. I love looming! However I am a slow learner. Your style of teaching is ushering me in to the intermediate level. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Deborah for this video. My hat did not flatten the way I was hoping. I used different snitch and I skipped a step. I will get it the next time.
I'm looking for a reversible hat pattern for the loom. Is this pattern available? Your work is beautiful, instructions are awesome and the yarn is stunning! Thank you ♥️
I’m using a 76 peg loom to make a beanie, how should I decrease? I divided it into every 19th peg but that just seems like to many pegs in between what do you recommend I do?
I’m using diamond lace stitch can I still use that as decreasing? I made a mistake and had to start over and I’m back to doing the decrease, I can’t do every 8 pegs it has to be every 4 pegs
Do you have a video in which you can increase in a round, all the way around? I'm trying to make a dog sweater in which the neck is much less in diameter than the chest.
I like your video. It's very informative except... you keep getting your hat anatomy wrong. You keep calling the top portion "the brim." It is NOT the brim. The Brim is the open end, or the bottom of the hat. The top section that is closed off is correctly called "The Crown," because it sits atop the head like a crown. Please don't be offended or insulted. You are very knowledgeable with the work you do and I have learned quite a bit from watching your videos. I just believe that you should get the anatomy and parts of a hat correctly named to avoid confusion with some of your viewers. I've crocheted hats for many years an learned about what the hat pieces are called. I hope you don't mind my pointing this error out to you. Again, thank you for your very informative video.
yes and i did say in the description that i accidently did that. Just scroll down to see it. i am not going to replace the video. i explained in the description and it clearly shows a bind off. That should be enough.

This is the best tutorial for finishing off a hat. Thank you.
Thank you a bunch for your easy directions as I’m a beginner and have only made a couple hats so far.

I’m using a 76 peg loom to make a beanie, how should I decrease? I divided it into every 19th peg but that just seems like to many pegs in between what do you recommend I do?
same way...divide into 4 then two.
@@DeborahShaw and how many rows do I do decreases
@@Sshavonne the same as the video....you have a smaller gauge so the thickness will be the same....
I’m using diamond lace stitch can I still use that as decreasing? I made a mistake and had to start over and I’m back to doing the decrease, I can’t do every 8 pegs it has to be every 4 pegs
its 4 decrease then 2...you can use this decrease with any stitch.
What hat pattern is this hat you demonstrated the bind-off? It's stunning
it will be on my channel with a video
@@DeborahShaw do you remember the name of the video with this hat pattern? I would also love to try it as it’s beautiful. Thank you!
Is this by chance the Milesian Texture Stitch for Scarves, hats, blankets and Shawls Loom Knit No Purls?

i may, if i do its on my channel.
Thanks for the tutorial, what pattern is your hat. Is your hook one of Steve Axlerod's?
my hook was from a company that no longer makes them based in Canada. The hat is on my channel its my Milesian Stitch Hat.
That yarn is beautiful, what weight and yarn is it. Now I think my slouch hat will look like a slouch hat….thank you for this video.
It really is a beautiful hook. I am in NS and where can I find your channel for the pattern of this hat?
Mine had huge gaps what did I do wrong?
Dont know, its a decrease many use and no one else said that.
Is this for a decreased brim or crown? I'm confused?
crown
Will this work for the for the 3/8 gauge 80 peg loom? or will the crown still be too bulky
it works for any gauge
Do you mean "crown" instead of brim? Im a little confused.
yes if you read the description i explained that......just scroll down.
