I love that you use a battered, tried and trusted mirror. You are a woman after my own heart. I would say the colours in the palette are peachy more than pink. I love peach eye looks so I will probably buy it to take on holiday with me. Your voice is SO relaxing. Superb video and a new subscriber. 😊❤
Yes, definitely peachy in color...thank you for sharing your thoughts but websites truly do not show real colors...most of the time it's a gamble when we purchase makeup online...but, these colors look beautiful on you!
This was one of the color selections I am interested in. I appreciated all the swatches and especially when you closed your eyes and turned your head, in order to demo the colors. I agree with your analysis of the colors. They look angelic on your eyes. I want this one and the blue palette. I guess you wouldn't do the blue one, I'm thinking.
I subbed to your channel because I love how poised you talk, the great informations you provide and your nice tutorials. The 1st video I came across was your Lisa Eldridge dupe lipsticks and you really waowed me. Bare with my bad english since french is my mother tongue.
Your mirror has gone through hard days?... 😇🤭. Thank you for the presentation of nude dress. It gives a very good impression. Your look looks beautiful!!!! Best wishes.
I absolutely love the look of this palette. I was trying to find a similar shimmery nude color shadow that Charlize Theron always wears and this looks like it might be similar
I definitely see more peach and copper and it does look different from their website. The look turned out so lovely and would make a great everyday palette when you want something simple. As for the computer-generated colors on certain brands websites, that is unfortunate. Based on your review, I think I will purchase it as I like this color story. I have enough pink palettes.
I have to say, I've gone to this a few times since I bought it for a "little something" - and it's great for a wash of color. Really like the center color for that, too. it's quite beautiful in real life!
I have this palette. To me, all the colors have a pinkish shimmer. The copperish one is a copper-pink, the center one is a peachy-pink. I am very light skinned, but warmed toned, and the pink is clear on my skin. I do looooove this ones!
I see the pink shifts in four of them. Yes, they are the mentioned hues also, but I see muted pinks reflected in them on your clip. 😊🙏 I agree on the dior eye looks, they def look like computergenerated eye looks.
Hi! I was looking at the Dior site at all the quints based on your recommendation ❤️ and specifically this Nude Dress. After your video, I’m going to go back to look for a different option. IRL This quint isn’t what I expect, more warm than I thought. Looks very pretty on you. Thanks!
Thanks for taking one for the team, unlike in the US here in Australia we cannot return makeup unless it is faulty or the cause of an allergic reaction so I rely on honest UA-camrs like yourself to review 🙏🏻🌟
You can play with them and create beautiful look with brown and copper first put lightly brown all over your eyelid after that put copper it's beautiful color and make you youthful i love the look exactly what i think
The last two are rosegold (rosegold has a larger copper component than yellow gold, in some countries it's called 8K gold which (just like 9K gold in other parts of the world) legally is not gold of course) and flesh in my opinion.
I agree not pink at all, I believe even from the photo on the Dior site it pulls peach and on your hand it pulls peach. Can you give us a description of what soft cashmere actually is as well? To me it appears more of a lavender in tone??
Ahhh...to me taupe really runs the gamut. My favorite taupes have a lavender undertones, while others have a warmer undertone, ranging from cool to warm brown. I think Soft Cashmere has a slightly pink undertone, but not cool pink - neutral pink.
How did you decided on this one? I'm thinking about New Look and Plum Tulle. But now I'm not sure since colors on my laptop screen often do not correspond with what I receive in the mail!
I think partly by deduction...I'm fussy about purples, many can look dead on me. I already have a lot of pinks, so I didn't want to do that. Then I considered I already have Denona Glam and Soft Cashmere, so I wanted something different than those. And...voila, I decided on this one!
Definitely not pink, but very pretty nonetheless. Thanks for the review, it was interesting to see this one in action, I had thought it was very similar to Soft Cashmere (but maybe just slightly warmer) but it really looks quite different to it.
Yes, the lighting makes a huge difference! Before you turned off one of the lights, I thought the center shade could be convincing as a very light 'ballerina pink,' like the shade of the leotard & shoes that has a lot of 'nude' in it. And the copper shade, I kept thinking looked like 'champagne.' As soon as you turned off the big light, I saw exactly what you're talking about. Often the website descriptions are written by copywriters who may not get to see the exact product but computer-generated images and then it is reviewed/approved by someone who may or may not have created/seen the products and who may or may not have had time to thoroughly review everything (both color images & description copy) for accuracy. It's a common corporate/business situation and can be frustrating if you're on the team and actually care about accuracy. :-(
That's stunning to me about the copy writing and accuracy! Especially now when many of us chose not to shop in person, and some people just can't because stores that carry this line are not near them! Thanks for the info from an insider!
It's a great palette... I'm fair and it's pink more than peachy on me. It's "nude" not a lot of color. I had the Undress and that was more brown .. hard to find. But the color whatever it is ..not really taupe is incredible.
It is NOT pink. At least not the typical pink. You look great and it suits you. Thanks for the video 👍👏 Btw, are you Norwegian or Swedish? You have that look and vibe!
@@salpiy.5880 Thank you. I'm American, though, so the mannerisms is really interesting to me. I can't imagine how I would have picked up on that. I've never even been to Norway. That's so interesting!
I have dark deep set hooded eyes. I need light shadows mainly for a clean lid. Is there a pallet that you could recommend or that anyone in the chat could recommend? I want a white a nude maybe a rust and a taupe/mushroom maybe with some sparkle. I can wear a lot of sparkle. I was looking at charlotte tilbery exaggerize and wayne goss pearl pallet
I love this palette and I am going to add it to my list. Question, is “soft cashmere” the name of the product line? I know the name is nude dress. I really like how it settled the tones looked very soft and great for everyday. ❤️ Also, I agree when it comes to shadows we can never really tell what’s what but I guess that’s good for all of our UA-camrs who help us figure it out. That’s exactly what you’ve done here and I can say I would totally order this product online and not pick it up in the store with this thorough review. THANK YOU 😊
In my Super old colour crayon box, it used to be called skin tone. And in those days, the only skin tone was Caucasian... ; ) too warm to be called pink. It is very flattering pretty on you - definitely neutral and fair skin friendly. Much better than the WG. That e-said, there isn’t much difference between this one and the cashmere quint. You could probably return this quint based on Dior’s “misleading/false description.” Thank you for the demo and review.
I'm inclined to think there is definitely red (pink) undertones in those shades BECAUSE (color math) they kick up the green in your iris. And that's what a red-based color will do. False advertising or not, these shades are really pretty on you, very harmonious, which is always what I'm looking for.
I don't think this is a pink look. A variety of nudes is more accurate. Butttt I LOVE it on you all the same and am now going to buy it when it's back in stock. 😬
The Dior makeup looks do seem computer-generated. If companies do this, they should at least make sure that the colors they choose are the same as in the product. Do they think that customers will like whatever colors they decide to send instead of the colors they advertise? I hate it when I get coppery eyeshadows instead of what I thought I ordered. Your makeup look is beautiful, nonetheless.
My best guess it, they do this because it's much cheaper. I feel, though, you've already hired the photographer and studio to get the product shot. Why not hire 3 models and a couple of make-up artists and do it right? They have an advertising and creative budget, this wouldn't add all that much to it in the big picture. Computer generated swatches just don't read the same as applying to the skin (be it swatches, eye looks, lip looks, foundations) because there's skin under the product and that changes the character and color of the products. One of my biggest pet peeves - lol
I came across to this video while trying to find a real life swatch but I love the way you talk. It's very sophisticated
Thank you!
It looks so fresh on you. I’m gonna get this. I’ve been thinking about the cashmere one but I think this one is a better staple for everyday 😊
Whatever color you want to call it, it looks beautiful on you!!
Thank you, Anne!
You look lovely! Those Dior swatch photos are AMAZINGLY inaccurate, but the actual palette looks like a keeper.
Yes, I've used it several times since I shot this, and it's a keeper!
I see blush pink in there. Its lovely!
Brown and peach to me.
I have the old palettes and from what I can see in your review ..... Dior has made them better .... they needed to be!
They are SO much better. I'm delighted!
I love that you use a battered, tried and trusted mirror. You are a woman after my own heart. I would say the colours in the palette are peachy more than pink. I love peach eye looks so I will probably buy it to take on holiday with me. Your voice is SO relaxing. Superb video and a new subscriber. 😊❤
Totally agree, it’s a surprise when you open them 😬. I bought the soft cashmere too because it looked so good on you in your review.
Hi, these colors look great on you!
Your voice is so smooth and relaxing to listen to. Beautiful eyeshadows.
Thank you so much 🙂
Yes, definitely peachy in color...thank you for sharing your thoughts but websites truly do not show real colors...most of the time it's a gamble when we purchase makeup online...but, these colors look beautiful on you!
Thank you Janie!
It looks beautiful on you.

I love the blue one and was very tempted, but I know it won't look good on me...I just can't see to figure out how to do blue eyes on myself
Both those colors look pink to me, especially the metallic one.
I subbed to your channel because I love how poised you talk, the great informations you provide and your nice tutorials. The 1st video I came across was your Lisa Eldridge dupe lipsticks and you really waowed me. Bare with my bad english since french is my mother tongue.

Great video. Looks like a great one and done with liner palette for day.
Thanks Liz. I agree - great for an easy, put together day look!
Rose gold, for sure.
I think so, too! Hope you're well!
You look amazing! Every day I am waiting for your video. Great job!
Thank you so much, Dasha!
I think I'll go to get this palett, very pretty colours
Great review! Indeed I thought the same as you the is no pink at all! I ended up getting the Tutu one and I am loving it.
The Tutu looks pretty, yes! I feel I already have those colors personally, so I didn't do that one! I'm so glad they improved their formula!

The Hooded Lid, my makeup graveyard thanks you too....it’s getting crowded in there 😳
Good taste
I think it’s a beautiful palette anyway…😊
It is peach, you’re right. The peach is kinda Victoria Beckham’s Signature palette..

more rose gold but i love the whole look goin on my list...
Very pretty on your eyes its just peachy nude color
I don't know why some brands described peach color as pink
I don't either...since so many of us are shopping online now, I do wish companies would step up their accuracy game!
The last two are rosegold (rosegold has a larger copper component than yellow gold, in some countries it's called 8K gold which (just like 9K gold in other parts of the world) legally is not gold of course) and flesh in my opinion.
A very pretty day look for you. I agree the photos do not match the actual colours of the products. ITo me this palette is peach not pink.
Yes, a soft peachy color. I think probably flattering to many skin tones...
