yes...make the return, Jennifer. Having worked in cosmetics for many years, once in awhile...things happen. I have the Nude Dress quint and it is beautiful. Make the return for your peace of purchasing mind. :)

I have the palette and it seems to work fine for me. The white shade is a little chalky, but the pink center shade has more of a shimmer. Let us know about the replacement.

It’s not a topper, it’s just an off-white highlight shade. The rose gold shimmer is the one which will add shine in this palette.

I bought this one during the Sephora sale along with the TF desert fox...honestly I'm not impressed with the dior palette. TF I was swatching my viseart mattes and I found dupes for the TF palette sooo idk if I'm going to keep it or either of them. I also bought my second chanel palette from bloomingdale's and I'm in love!!! Why did I wait so long to buy them! I would rather return the two from Sephora and buy more chanels lol!!!
I wasn't either - I was expecting the formula to be better. I did pick up a new one from a different company - maybe I could get a different batch to try, and I did like that one a lot better! Honestly, not my favorite of the quints, but still better than the first!
The palette is pretty but maybe it came from a different stock? So sorry it didn't work. Nordstrom has these on sale and I was looking at this but it may be too light for my skin tone. Thanks for taking one for the team.
Yes, I’m not sure what happened. I’m going to try a different one - I think something is up with this one... it is light.
In my country you cannot return make up. And I was wondering why was this pallet was turning up on our local Facebook marketplace all the time. Your review just explained it for me
Oh my! Yes, I think I may have gotten a bad batch or whatnot, but it still isn't my favorite.
Jen i had to returned mine but i have 7-8 others quints and love them all but thenude dress quality is bad

Hi Jenn, I have most of the new Dior Quints and this quint is my least favourite. I also found that center shade weird and dry and I find the looks I get unflattering on me.

Hi! I’d just take it back. You were expecting something different. I have this palette and it performs in the exact same way and I wouldn’t say mines a dud. The white shade is definitely questionable but I really like the other 4! It’s my most used Dior quint 😌

This might not be related, but I picked this pallette up at Sephora a couple months ago and on my way home I couldn't help myself opening it up to look at it, lol, and when I opened it up, the shadows had all been shattered and I got COVERED in eyeshadow (in my car!). Ugh. I also realized, seeing them shattered, that the colors were more peachy than I was really wanting, so I ended up driving right back and returning nude dress and switching it out for soft cashmere (which I love!). Anyway, maybe the reason it had shattered had something to do with it also being a "dud"?? That's the only reason I mention it! I did especially love that first shade you swatched on your eye, though, it looked gorgeous on you!! I just love the dior quint formula, too. I have 4 of the pallettes and of course would love to have all of them!

I think nude dress is one of the older formulation and when they came out with denim that when everything is new idk but that what I think ......

Thanks for the review. I bought the palette a while back and had exact same experience. The middle shadow *is* dry and patchy. The white one is chalky. They should fix the formula on both...And the color probably. Also a mistake Dior has made with the new palettes: They all have topers but not light colors to put on the lid to create the simple "light shade on lid and darker shade in the crease" look. The way they've made their new palettes create "dark smokey eyes", which I am not a fan of, even though most of the shades are nice in their palettes. But we all need one light nude shade in every palette that is not a topper. The dark smokey look is not an every day look for many.

I got the cool toned Tutti about a month ago…I think that is what it’s called. Love the colors, I had a LOreal duo a long time ago, it had a muted lavender shimmer and a matte rosy taupe, I must have repurchased at least 3 times, it was perfect, and the color story of Tutti is similar…but I don’t think the formula and performance of the Dior shadows justifies the price. The lightest shade, supposedly a topper, hardly shows up at all no matter how I apply it. The lavender shade is unique…but the others, I’m sure I have some other version of them in other palettes. I used Tutti maybe for a week, and haven’t touched it since. Don’t hate it, but just don’t love it either.
Yeah, I understand completely. I feel like some of the Dior shadow color stories are amazing, and the. They are starting the replicate some they already have, which is kind of a bummer. I love the formula, but this one was a dud.

I am a little late to this video but I wonder if it's old. On the back of the Dior palettes it says shelf life of 6 months. I wonder if it was old when you bought it. I also wonder why such an expensive powder product would have such a short shelf life.🤔
Yeah, it may have been, Jennifer... not sure. I did get a different one and it was a lot better. Not sure why there would make it a 6 month shelf life either.
Keep us posted about how the new palette performs after you return this one! I love their formula and want to purchase this palette, but will wait to see if this is something "normal" or just a one off.

So expensive for 6 months shelf life?? That’s crazy! I know they last longer because it’s powder but it will likely go bad before other brands.
