I honestly like this plastic carb design old me wouldove thought it was stupid but they are jsut so easy and simple to clean i just fixed the exact same mower 5 days ago did exactly what you did and it ran great
Agree, they are easy to clean/fix.
I have the exact same mower. I spray starting fluid into carburetor and it will start but olwont stay running. I took apart the carburetor and it's really clean.. like a new one.
Something is clogging up the carburetor.

I just did this started up again but died after a few seconds? Opinion?
Something is still blocking gas. Is gas flowing out of the gas line when you disconnect it from the carburetor?

It did sit for a while before being used again
