    Jaz there was 1 video in particular where you talked about the persona you embody, the Range Rover Pilates princess, and you said something to the effect of "if you want to go to the gym, tell yourself you want to be a gym girly for a week, month, etc." Girl that idea/statement really stuck with me and as of today ive been a gym girly for 2 months now! Before your video I was ready to make a serious change and you gave me the mindset switch that lit the fire under my ass. Thank you girly!

    Def needed this. I'm not lazy or unmotivated, I just aim to get way too much done in one day because I'm used to having to be superwoman. When I don't get EVERYTHING done, I feel frustrated and unaccomplished. I need to break down my to-do list.

    I started outsourcing some of my cleaning about 3 years ago. So what I do, is that I pay my younger siblings to do it, or my children! My brothers are 16 and 11 and my children are 9 and 7. All tasks are definitely age appropriate. It works so well for me. It’s something off my plate, and they learn to work for money. I love it, definitely has saved me a lot of mental distress. I need a clean home to function. Hope this idea can bless someone else!

      After reading your post, I felt like you pulled the words out of me. I’m currently overworked (mom, wife and mainly work) while not getting closer to my goal. What was the first step you took? I need all the tips/ help I can get.

    • @jricrianne
      @jricrianne 4 місяці тому +1

      @@LinaParris personally, my first step was getting out of debt. I felt stuck and unmoving. I was working 40 hours and even overtime and I still had no money or time and had no motivation. I adopted a minimalist lifestyle, became more frugal for time and completely changed how I saw money. Instead of spending to cope stress (😂 because I was broke) I invested more in things and experiences that would aid in my development. I was seeing a therapist for years to cope with anxiety and depression but the minute I got a financial advisor I no longer needed my therapist.

    So i have a confession. I like to watch this channel and others like it bc its so nice to see black women being intentional and productive and it makes me want to be the same. But i end up watching like i do cleaning vids. Or DIYs. Or primitive building. (Its really cool) i watch someone else do something and never plan on doing it myself.
    Well anyhoo, this video was really helpful. You gave actionable steps. And i suppose you always do, but perhaps im just seeing this at the right time. I think what really hit me is that i too am productive in the morning and evening! And i feel soooo lazy!!! So when you said that, it blew my mind. Thank you for the tips and tricks.
