Winter Surf Perch Fishing in California

Some clips from a weekend of winter surf perch fishing in California. I'm still new to surf fishing and am only just starting to get an idea for how to fish the surf.

- Okuma Rockaway 10' medium power rod (10-20lb line, 3/4-3oz lure rating)
- Penn Battle III size 4000 reel
- 30# braided line
- 20# mono leader
- Berkley Gulp 2" camo sand worms
- 1-3oz egg weights
- #4 Gamakatsu baitholder hooks
