When I was a kid we lived in Prince George, Canada. My dad used to shovel snow UP off the roof. A few years ago in the coastal mountains here in BC we had 100 feet of snow base. The ski hills had to close because the snow was above the chairlifts.
6 months of the year I do snow. You talk about 1200-1500’, I’m 1800-2200 meters. 🇨🇦 😂 chains make a world of difference. Love your diversity of 4x4 in Australia!
Hi roothy, its great to see soo many people crazy about old cruisers! Wondering if you can give me some advice please mate. My names ken, 29 years old living in the south island nz, ive just purchased a very tidy 2h 60 series from my grandfather who died 12weeks ago after fighting cancer, he owned it for 27 years. 400k on the clock and suffering from cancer itself, i plan a full resto but with the intent to it earning its keep. So of course i have to start with the engine. I know ur all about 12ht! You think i should rebuild the 2h and turbo it, or go 12ht? 12ht engines here in nz are scarce and not CHEAP! Im thinking about importing an engine from ozzy. Kind regards ken.
