Beautiful car! I miss Oldsmobile!
Nice car ! That would be a joy to drive around with all your friends in it !!
I have never seen one of these. Sure is a beauty. Thanks for presenting!
Wow that's a very rare Oldsmobile. More to love 😍😎🤗
Never seen one of these before! Armbruster Stageway made limousines out of many makes, mostly Cadilllacs Chrysler and Lincolns. Most Oldsmobile professional cars (limouses, hearses and ambulances) were made by a company named Cotner-Bevington, their cars were usually more luxurios with power windows, air conditioning and better upholstery. The rear window visor was available on most GM full size coupes and sedans. Thank you for posting!
1961 was a peak year for styling on GM cars. I love those turned out lower fins, which look even better on the 1961 Cadillac. Even the 1961 Impala was a peak year as were the Pontiacs.
That is way too cool. ❤❤❤ absolutely love it.
Unusual limousine build…I wonder why they wanted an olds.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Cost factor ! Reliable !
Its not a 98 its an 88 but its very. Nice!
I know, I said I misspoke and that it’s an 88
The rear windshield is shared with the 61 Impala 4-door sedan.
Do you know what air shocks fit this olds cross-reference . I been looking and no dice. Thanks
Stageway made limousines out of conventional passenger cars by cutting them in half, installing the center section, and putting the two back together. Judging from the back seat, it looks as if it began life as a Dynamic 88 2-door sedan. Exceptional vehicle!
How do they match the body panels? I'm thinking
Stageway gets the door skins from the factory. Any thoughts?
@@anthonyberardi186 Maybe Stageway got sheet metal from the factory (not necessarily door skins) to match the halves of the car. Since they rebuilt for many manufacturers, especially Chrysler and GM, I'm confident they could make arrangements for what they needed
My grandfather was friends with Ransom Eli Olds and we have his autograph
Yeah boi American made with Pittsburgh Steel !!!😊
Stageway Armbuster still makes limos.
UA-cam sucks for interrupting the video mid-word for some bullshit ad!
And then the ad stalls, holding you hostage while it decides to delay everything. Corporate fun police working hard against us.

Looks more like an 88.
Right, I misspoke in the video. I can’t go back and change it
Yes, the interior trim is that of a Dynamic 88. Incredibly rare car!
The wipers/cowl, taillights are Dynamic 88.
I want !😂😊
I see what looks like a/c under the hood but see none in the dash or trunk. Is this air conditioned?
No a/c.
Crank windows
It'd be even better with a 455!!!
Omg stop whipping the camera back and forth, i am getting sea sick!
