2 transmission options were available for the 1957 chevy 150 sedan, a powerglide and a turboglide. The latter was a 3-speed automatic, from the dash cluster it appears this was equipped with the turboglide. I watch your videos from the Philippines and I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing what you have. I restored, bought and sold collector cars for many years before retiring to the Philippines. I had a 80 formula firebird with the 4.9 301 and a 79 grand prix with the 301. Those pontiac 301s ran really good but had no power. 4.9 turbo trans am in 80 and 81 not quite as bad but still only around 200hp with the turbo.

What a nice Wildcat. Growing up, my dad had a 1968 Wildcat 4dr sedan (post). It was that very popular greenish gold color with a black vinyl top and black interior. It wasn't a Customs model, so the interior was the same as the LeSabre Custom. But, it was loaded with options and as my dad always said, the 430 engine was amazing and it was the most satisfying car to drive. My mom used to burn rubber with it!

I did notice one thing that could be a problem on hot days. It’s missing a radiator shroud which means the car will run hot.
